Awesome and it works well
i have same loader but with Original Pump intact and working just fine but thinking I have 8N, and love my old Ford Tractor plus my bucket has 2ft more bucket on each side for larger scoops
Did you change the front hubs to 8n just curious to see if it was only the hub that needed to be changed
Those are the hubs that came on it when I bought it. I believe they are off an 8N or something later. They are for sure not the original 9N/2N hubs or wheels.
I have a question. With the old style where the pump was on the front, was that also tied into the internal hydraulic system? Or was the front-end loader attachment a self-contained system where the hydraulic fluid was simply pumped through, separate from the tractor's hydraulic system?
I believe there is a way to use the front pump to run the whole tractor hydraulics however it requires some modification. The original design of the model 19-22 loader with the front pump was a self contained system for the loader only.
My Dearborn also uses a separate pump off of the front of the engine. Works great. Live hydraulics. The trip mechanism works pretty good. If you time your latch in with the bucket swing just right you can both unlatch and latch with one single movement of the lever. It's quite a dance using a N series with a trip loader, but once you get the tango down you can move some good sized piles of dirt pretty quickly
where is the pump
The pump uses the original pump with the old tractor guy conversion. See the video in the link on how to do that. ua-cam.com/video/6FdwvYUlZW4/v-deo.html
