"Release" is my word for the 4th quarter of the year, and this practice helped me do this. "I release all struggle," came to mind toward the end. The extended time in squat pose seems like a very good way to elongate and strengthen my back. The modified side planks with a lifted leg seem particularly strengthening for the outer hips. And I always appreciate scorpion pose and the opportunity to practice balancing in half-moon. I'm so happy that I did this practice again! I feel great.
@@yoflaminga They do! My other favorite is when yoga instructors say to come slowly and gracefully out of plough: I look like a jelly dropping hard from 1 meter 😀
Thank you for the little subtle hints like lowering your hips when flipping back from 'wild thing' hat we can carry into our practice going forward. I love how yoga is an ongoing learning experience, no matter where we are in our own practice.
I LOVED this one! The repeat half moons felt very good. I was surprised how much more open I felt on the second round of them. You seemed very present in this one. You always feel present, but somehow even more so in this flow. Thank you so much.
This was great! Really appreciate your approach to teaching, both the asanas / flow and the verbal guidance and tone of voice worked really well for me. The only suggestion I have is to perhaps warm up the knees a bit more before entering that on-the-ground half moon pose. My knees need a little lubrication before that much pressure on one knee. Thanks for the great practice!
