I have to be honest - I know this isn't the "Genius Garage" channel, but I like getting to *see* the students actually working on stuff.
Its crazy how a girl bobbing her head for 10 seconds makes millions but a guy that teaches students and sets them up for a successful career doesn't.

Make sure your 944 fuel lines are good. Many a classic 944 gone up in flames when fuel line gave our over the hot motor. Thanks for the video. Have to do this to my 944.

I love my 86 944 with 28k miles. I have a 2018 M6 but the 944 is so analog and has just enough power to be fun - but without getting into trouble on the street. One of the best handling cars ever.
I miss spinning claw hand gesture in a fighter jet Casey, but I'll take pointing like a boss in a fighter jet Casey as an acceptable replacement.

Casey is correct these are the best you can buy, KW are an superior to most others and the way to go if you want Quality.
944 looks 1000 X better. Viper GTS looks amazing from all angles. You're lucky to own one. Can't wait for the next video! Thanks Casey.

I love KW coilovers. I have a set of V2s on my Volvo wagon. Completely transformed how well it handles.

Putting that shiny new coilover on the original suspension is like Road Kill slapping a brand new Holley EFI carb or a new supercharger on a rusted, leaking engine that hasn't run in 30 years, yet it fixes everything.
Looking good, i love black & gold (i'm painting my swift gti black & gold). 944 rear wheels need a spacer though. KWs is very good

944 is a great car.
The 944 S is even better. It’s a 16 valve setup capable of 190hp and 170 torque when on cam. It’s a modern car in how it runs and handles.

Hey, I just noticed your tyres are mounted backward on the gold wheels (at least the one on the right front for sure). I bet you just inverted both front wheels.
Classic Riken Raptors. Some of the only tires still available in OEM sizes for these cars

Make sure to get those directional tyres seated the correct way Casey, I saw the left rear and right front were backwards.

@@CaseyPutsch I know you're probably joking Casey but if a tyre shop can't recognize directional tyres and mount them correctly, then maybe don't use that shop.

@@kalidilerious I have worked in and been the customer of many tyre shops, they absolutely make these kinds of mistakes, I just wanted to point it out to Casey because he didn't mention it in the video.

I wish I had bought my coil overs from kw… whilst they were made by kw… the after sales service has left me with a car I can’t trust for nearly 5 months. The shaft separated from the top mount on my rear shock at 100kph… thankfully with only minor issues… however it’s now been since the 21st of January and my car isn’t fixed. The company stated they would send a replacement out on the 21st of February… but that hasn’t happened and as I’ve published this fact… Squadra Sportiva isn’t likely to ever send a replacement out.
The original Bilstein's which were no doubt worn out but when new would have been better than at least 90% of the aftermarket 'uprated' suspension kits on the market!

casey coilovers are cool and all, i mean i have them on my subaru, but all the cool kids are bagging their cars with air suspension. you have to slam that 944 on bags and get some 18" chrome rotiforms on camber bolts for the youtube views

wow, in 1988, Porsche is still using IRS suspension from a VW bug.
So? For this application it's still better than swing axles or live axles.
Miata uses double wishbones just like the Jaguars raced at LeMans, but it's still a good design.

@@nickaltvater5592 kw is a OEM supplier who build high quality parts that last 100k miles. BC makes pricepoint coilovers for drifters.
