Do some breathing exercises every day some time before or after running. Long inhalation and long exhalations. You'll learn to control the rhythm of your breathing better and that might stop happening. At least that works a lot for me. (It also helps with anxiety)
If you're struggling to get into a comfortable breathing rhythm while running, the first thing to change is your pace. Slow down! At an easier pace, you'll be able to practice the breathing mechanics in this video, then as you get more comfortable with the breathing techniques, you'll be able to increase the pace and run faster :)
Well which is most appropriate way to breathe then ?? breathing completely through nose or inhale through nose and exhale through mouth or vice a versa ?? PSL TELL
@@babita7822 Mouth breathing isn't recommended because it could deform your face, decline your airways, give you tired eyes, and much more. I don't know much about mouth breathing in running though, but my doctor suggests I breathe in and out with my mouth

Could be your running form, UA-cam good running form, you wanna keep good posture, arms pretty close to your side but not too close or too far out, keep your head back to not put too much weight on your upper back, and keep your chest up, land on the balls of your feet, and be sure to kind of lean forward and every step your take kind of fall into the next step, using gravity to help you keep momentum
I ran my 2.4 km(1.49 miles) by breathing out on a step and in on one step ,it helps because when the feet hits the ground ,it shakes the body and helps me breath out and breath in,when I start to get tired I check my form and keep my head and back straight ,watch my pace and shake my head to keep from stopping ,I also clench my fist when I feel tired and look up when I feel tired ,at the end of the run I keep jogging because you don't know how that actually helps ,I saw the difference, when I stopped and immediately sat down ,I start to get headaches and pain in the abs and stitches(I don't know if I spelt it correctly),I also experienced collapsing when I stopped because the sudden stop makes me sweat a lot ,for me when I stop I jog until I reach the lint where my throat starts to feel normal and my muscles start to relax ,then I move to a walking pace when my breathing starts to slow down and my heart doesn't pump as hard ,then I only seat down after a few sips of water ,if you think 2.4 km(1.49 miles)is a lot ,I'm a 14 years old boy who ran that in 8min 27 seconds ,so yeah this breathing technique also helps ,but my advice is just please don't seat down ,it just hurts a lot more later
I didn't know that tongue placement trick, Imma try it. Thanks for the idea! In my experience, I do nose in and out breathing when in a cruising pace, a nose-in mouth-out breathing when accelerating or climbing uphill and full-on all mouth breathing when sprinting for dear life. I've also found out that "giving birth" breathing pattern of two short nasal inhales and a medium mouth exhale is great for sustained high pace runs. not sure if it will work with others but it does for me.
Would highly recommend this video, actually tried this method out for a little over 6 months now and this led a to drastic change in my breathing when running.
So I'm a bit confuse. Am I just going to keep changing the way I breath when running (meaning this will be the proper way to do it) or this is just an excercise to get better at breathing?
For all my life I would just fall over blacked out when I did so much as a jog, I simply couldn't figure out how to both move and breath at the same time. Thank you for changing my life!

Andy Dwyer Do mouth in nose out, this is because the mouth in puts air into your lungs the fastest, kind of like how when people want to beef up their engines they’ll put a bigger intake on their car. Then, breath out through the nose, cars also need to eject the air, they do so with their exhaust manifold and tailpipes, humans can’t just keep farting out their ass like cars can so they won’t have as efficient breathing, but you can push that out through your nose, not your mouth, and here’s why; in & out through your mouth would cause the mouth to do dry, which gives the feeling of being dehydrated, which makes you tired, nose in nose out doesn’t give you enough oxygen, nose in mouth out, is not only slowly putting in oxygen, it’s releasing the oxygen much faster, so you’re not getting enough to begin with, and you’re releasing any small amount of oxygen that you have too quickly for your lungs to get good use out of them. Hence why they feel like they’re tearing apart. So, the proper breathing technique would be mouth in, nose out, because you’re getting air in much quicker and more air in because your mouth is bigger than your nose. And then nose out because the air stays in your lungs longer allowing the lungs to harvest the oxygen for slightly longer periods of time giving you that extra boost you need.
@@francesco1998 man don't put wrong idea's in someone's brain When u take air through nose it contains oxygen which our body (lungs) use and release co2 so there is no oxygen left only co2 so you need to take rid of it as fast as possible by throughing it out through mouth and again slowly take air (oxygen) through nose and it is not comfortable in starting becoz its new for lungs and u had not enough practice so it takes a while to adopt

I run, and what you've said is totally true(8years ago😅) Breathing through your nose is the most optimal way to gauge a lot of things, during the run. I'd love to add, while its the nose, don't forget the lungs, that is connected with the stomach. Where does the air go to? Where do you remove it from? When you take a long satisfying breathe, allow your stomach to increase like bulge outward, when you breathe out let it go in to remove the air. In doing so, you allow your back to have an amazing form, straight. The cadence you set will also determine how far, fast, you can run and breathe. My 2 cents

which is just 4 days from now.
i'm not experienced in this sport, i just got lucky because i won by default, none of the opponents showed up and now i have to run for the internationals against other athletes who probably fought against better individuals, and actually earned the right to participate. i don't even plan to win. i just want to give these opponents a good/enjoyable experience and just give my best. for me the important thing right now is to just enjoy and have experience, this is my FIRST actual Track and Field match (disregarding the last one where i won by default.)
So we all here in 2024? Useful recommendation ig since imma start running in the mornings from tomorrow on, and bro was mewing 8 years ago
I run, and what you've said is totally true(8years ago😅)
Breathing through your nose is the most optimal way to gauge a lot of things, during the run.
My 2 cents
Also get the BreatheEasy Lung Exerciser to quickly tone breathing muscles and open airways. The inhalation exercise is very meditative.
Omg I found it a video that actually is clear and make u understand how to do it
