The creature won't have to Escape. If you noticed at the end of Jeepers Creepers part 2, Taggart allows people to come to his farm to take pictures of the Creeper. The writers will simply employ the common 80s trope of a group of drunk teenagers going out the farm after Dark and stealing the carcass on the night of the anniversary it's supposed to come back to life.

My main issue is how they changed up the Creeper's personality. In 1 and 2, he was a cold, calculated predator. He messed with people for fun, just to scare them, and personally picking his victims out and ignoring others that didn't interest him. In movie 3, he pretty much just becomes a mindless beast, killing almost everyone he comes across whether he had interest in them or not, losing most of his original edge. I also hate the added features to the truck. The spikes and spears just kind of make it a bit tacky. The one good thing I will say about this is that his character is chaotic evil in #3, and that's kinda funny.
The creeper became really OP in 3. In 1 and 2 he was strong not superman.

I wish they never made a part 3... I was so excited to hear about the part 3 I waited awhile for it and when it came I wanted to just die.... It's terrible it's like a Syfy movie that had a budget of 2 dollars. One and two were consistent and they fit together but this 3 one is just terrible.

Actually Buddy said he had a family in town so he stay there where the game took place and according to the conversations on the bus in the second movie, the Creeper attack took place after the game, so it might be possible Buddy avoided being victim.

The Creeper was such a let down to me in 3. I think putting him on full display in broad daylight was a HUGE mistake. Part of what was so scary was that when it was dark it looked like pieces of him were cut out because his features were obscured, like what he did to his victims. And our imaginations have to fill in the blanks.
I also REALLY hate the hints of him being a fallen Angel or Lucifer or whatever. I’m so TIRED of that plot line in movies.
I remember there was one scene when a character said something ridiculous and then he looked at the camera and I laughed because I thought for sure it was “a freakin really moment??” And then it cuts to a car driving up. Probably my favorite part.

I watched a video, don't remember from who, that said the real creeper is the thing on the back of his head and the body is just the host. I wish I could remember but it probably wouldn't be hard to find.

All we can do is speculate. Lore would be amazing, the Creeper's knowledge, age, weaponry, etc.

They had intended a whole different movie back in 2006, which really sounded worse than what we got in 3, so it went through rewrites over and over...then the whole scandal with Silva really took a hit...so they scrambled together to finish what he had to set up part 4.

honestly when i heard of a 3rd Jeepers Creepers movie, i was really hoping for a prequel/origin movie, like how did it come to be, its first batch of victims, how the first people aware of it reacted, did it show up in the US first or was it originally from Europe, that sort of thing, but instead that hope turned to disappointment with it being another repeated sequel, obvious budget cut, and a clear form of cash cow milking on a possibly good monster series that has now turned to dust.

I loved the first one, and for me, the reason it was so good was the same as in Alien, they couldn't kill it and it was a mysterious, awful, unexplained thing, once they explain its "origins" it just becomes a video game.
Agreed. Although I'd still like to know what the creeper is. The thing I dont like is how they made his truck the batmobile. The creeper himself is already an unstoppable force. Making his truck completely immune to anything thrown at it is overkill.

I, respectfully, disagree. Most slashers don't talk, so have the creeper talk, if only once or twice, might show a different side to him.
He does speak. Only shown in the comics though. Makes no sense that such an intelligent creature couldn’t speak if it wanted to. He did write “house of pain” in the first movie in his lair.
Everyone is wanting a creeper background revelation story however I think not knowing what the hell he is makes him more mysterious, interesting and creepy.
I saw a video on a comic about it but I have no idea if it is cannon.
That’s likes the point of it he is supposed to be mysterious which is what makes it creepy and it’s probably one of the only thing keeping the franchise from dying

I think this movie disappointed many fans of the franchise, especially considering the extreme gap between the previous film's release and this one's. The majority of characters lack a good amount of personality or substance, which is something a horror film has to have if the characters are going to be liked by the audience. If the characters are unlikable, then their deaths won't really trigger the emotion that's supposed to be felt during films of this genre; it makes the movie feel less authentic and eliminates a large portion of the fear factor that should be coming into play. I also believe that the Creeper was severely out of character. In the first two parts of the series, the Creeper is portrayed as a clever and sneaky killer, using the darkness and environment to his advantage and relying on his own skills. This movie made him out to be a reckless, stupid brute and his van and random devices seem to be more dangerous than he is (considering he got speared in the head by his own trap). My biggest disappointment was the scene where Danny and the Creeper are facing off. He's running through the field with an axe in his hand like he forgot he can fly, not to mention that this was shot in bright daylight or the mediocre special effects. I can't be the only one who saw this and thought "Seriously?" This had the potential to be the memorable event of the entire movie, and it just turned out poorly. Share your thoughts.

I 100% agree that the daytime shots took away a lot. I appreciated the creature's design and loved being able to see it fully in the light, but not having all those dark shots like in the originals made it feel cheap and out of place.
I thought the same exact thing when creeper was walking instead of flying towards Danny as he struggled to fix the gun...this movie immediately felt so corny

I thought it was a fake when I first watched it! the quality of the movie was so bad.
It seems it would be fairly easy to get the military involved, given the body count and testimony of the technology available. At that point, the creeper would be dealt with as a potential extra terrestrial.

All the dude has to do is not hang it in a barn while it is completely vulnerable just waiting for it to awaken again. Take the time you have 23 years! Get the funding and support show people it's existence melt that thing down and send the liquid out into the vacuum of space. 23 years is a long ass time to come up with a solid plan to get rid of that thing.

Anyone else think that they would’ve had much more potential in the franchise if the movies were spread across multiple feeding cycles? The characters could learn important stuff in the first few and pass it down to their relatives for the creepers ominous return… right?
I honestly believe that the magic of the first one happened because we didn't know anything about the Creeper. We didn't even get that much clear imagery of him. He was this mysterious creature that was attacking everything in its path and no one knew who he was or what he wanted. Follow up movies just weakened why everyone enjoyed the first movie. That paired with the fact that every movie afterwards was more poorly written with lower budgets than the previous one equals this series being destroyed with the 3rd and 4th movies. If someone with a well written script and clear vision of the movie and a good budget made a 5th movie with no ties to the previous four to revamp the series it could save it, much like the last Wrong Turn movie. Idk though, I am not a professional movie goer lol.

Who would give a damn about school, work, or playing in some damn high school game after realising flying cannibalistic demon creatures are real and one just killed about a dozen or more people in town. Would he not even talk about the scariest night of his life w the others on the bus going to the game? Why would they not know already anyway? It doesnt look like a very large city or town. I lived in small towns most of my life and one thing is certain: word gets around quick. I can't talk to a pretty girl in the morning without someone that evening asking me about my conversation. So a cannibalistic flying demon creature who killed probably a 3rd of the town's population going unnoticed by all on the bus is stupid and lame. This movie was just a cash grab and nothing more. First part was so scary... Because the Creeper was mysterious. Second was a bit worst - the less mystery, the more worse it looks. This one is a straight up trash movie, I fully expect the Toxic Avenger to make a cameo in the next one.

I liked this film, I thought it has some very cool scenes and yes the romance teen thing was a bit bland but overall the film had enough cool scenes to make it watchable.. Remember it's a low budget movie that had to have most of the scenes shot in the day because lighting would be to expensive for night time shooting.
I think this would have been better as a t.v. four part series but I'd watch it again.

@@themadclown4077 low budget is anything under 1 1/2 to 2 million I'm sure of it.. The 1st film cost 10 million to make and it was done really well as was the 2nd which cost 17 million. I'm pretty sure the 3rd was on a much lower budget. I thought the 3rd was a good little b - movie monster flick and is nowhere near as bas as what others were making out. As I said it was the best monster horror flick that year and if not then please show me one better. The 3rd was just a taster to lead us to the 4th and it revealed more to the characters of the creepers origins. The plot was grand and some of the scenes were fantastic.. The only part that was corny was the teen romance but take away that and the film was entertaining enough.. I loved the truck and it's supernatural abilities plus the teen bikers along with some of the amazing creeper night scenes. The old lady linked to the creeper through her dead son and finding more about the creeper through the slain hand. The cool scenes at the jail where the creeper flew off with darry.
The two teens trapped in the creeper van was very well done.. The CGI was dodgy in a few areas but it was a decent film overall for a very low budget film. And anyone can watch it for free.. Just wait for the 4th and see how over produced it is just like IT and Halloween.

He said at the end of part 3 before he got into the bus to Addy that he had family up in the the area where the tournament was played and that he might stay for an extra day.

@@bowlegable It is the same harpoon. Jeepers Creepers 3 takes place between the first and second. So part 3 was before the Taggart family. That's why the harpoon is still there. Not sure if you noticed but the nail stuck in his was made of IRON his hand was dead and no longer living. The old woman let him know she know what can kill him now.
oh yeah and in part 2 the old man stuck him in the head with iron and he couldnt not remove it. The harpoon at the end is made of iron. He can't stand iron.

The movie and quality was freaking terrible! The CGI was so bad. The creepier truck went from fast speed in part 1 to batmobie in part 3. That sergeant hair piece or spray on was so bad.

I feel like that, if they get a different director, they should try a period piece about one of The Creeper's past feasts. I would love to see him during an early era of settlers and natives, with the native peoples of course knowing all about The Creeper (and possible ways to ward him) while the settlers know nothing and don't believe a single word about it until suddenly they all start dropping like flies. Could even be where he gets his hat and coat, being trophies from others who tried to defeat him.
I’d prefer just watching him stitching a coat together with a little work apron humming.

JC3 sucked! I was under the impression that Trish would be the main character in THIS one, getting her revenge for Derry...not this series of random events after random events. And I'm sorry, but the Creeper seemed kind of lame with his booby traps and sci-fi grade weapons. Like...WUT??? It just felt too random and rushed without any real histoy on the Creeper :/

Taggard dies right before or when the feeding cycle begins and the lady that knows the creatures secrets does her research on the killings and somehow finds out about Trish they soon team up to find him because the secrets led the lady to know where his next feeding would take place
oh yeah i forgot to mention the timeline, like wtf decade was this? has parts where it looks modern and parts where it looks like the 50s, the story is just all iver the place😏

I always loved the second one when I was a kid… (well that was the only one I had ) but just the imagery of the jocks in their yellow letterman jackets, running through the field while being chased by the creeper always stuck with me
They need to get rid of the director (pedo guy really killed the budget of this movie) and hand the script to a good horror writer/director team. Give the creature some good lore and do another trilogy to end the series.
I'll judge a pedophile in a heart beat. You should read the backstory behind the budget to this film and how his background caused the financing to fall on this film. It's his idea, but not his property. Another talented director could've gotten the budget to make a great movie and a new trilogy. He may have done well in the first and second film but the story on this one was crap even if it had a higher budget it would''ve still been crap.

I have a theory that the people who he keeps alive in his truck while he's "busy" is done on purpose because the boobie traps firing off when they try to escape makes them more afraid, saturating them with more fear that the Creeper loves. That is all intentional if he didn't have to kill them before bringing them back to his truck because I noticed most of his victims he takes alive.
