Let me begin by saying what an absolute delight it has been to watch "The Durrells"! Dedicating time on it was the most relaxing and fullfilling thing I ever done with a show! It is literally the first time I am happy I found such a programme, it's relaxing, it's sweet, it's funny, it's sad, it's just THAT good! And now it's over and I'll be mourning its loss for a long time... Sundays will never be the same again!
In honour of this amazing experience I've had watching the story of The Durrells, I'll be making a series of videos dedicated to them! First one up, one of its funniest attributes: our beloved taxi driver Spiros (played by our national babe, Alexis Georgoulis) deadpan on calling his best friend and favourite Durrell (played by the most underrated and talented and skillful actress in the planet, Dame Keeley Hawes) "Mrs Durrells" instead of "Louisa"... except for those few select times that he did and we all DIED!♥_♥
For my girls Sabine (who gave me the idea), Candra (who will make sure to continue Louisa and Spiros' story where it left off) and Anastasia (who came up with the brilliant song choice)! And for every Durrells lover out there who appreciates this beauty of a show as much as I do!
