I love this show and hope great things for the team! 👍🤞👏👏👏
Wood, lol
A fan since episode one, love the show.
Hi Paula! Thanks for being a Curse of #OakIsland fan!
It's about the journey and they had the money to search quietly they didn't have to share this with us, I'm very happy they did and very appreciative.
Am I the only one who gets excited when they find wood? 🤣🥰 ☮️
When they say origins of ancient ring, I got excited. When it turned out to be a ring bolt, I felt like someone had hit me way a bit of wood
I'm 66 years old. My wife's been looking for wood for 5 years
Same here😂😂
@@chuckstith838 - Good one Chuck! I was rolling!
🤣🤣🤣
'...join us in season 27 when we find an ancient can opener. Could this could be the lead the team needs to find an empty treasure chest? Coming up next. The team find an ancient sign that reads 'Caution. Vehicles Turning.' Is this the sign that leads them to an ancient piece of Spanish nasal fluff?'
Yep. Ancient Fluff 'n Stuff
(while they milk that puppy for all it's worth)
😂😂😂😂😂
Next week they discover a UFO in the swamp. They
Climb aboard it and wizz off into the unknown searching for lost world's and are never heard from again.
2400 miles to Wall Drug.
Has there ever been mention or anything found that was originally from Holland?
When I read the original Readers Digest about ‘65 I was really into pirate tails with stories in The Eagle comic and I’m sure I remember the Dutch West Indies went north of New Holland.
With their knowledge of mining and land reclamation such as we see on Oak Island, I’m sure they’d have the skills.
In an earlier season they showed a huge detailed survey drawing that Fred Nolan had worked on for years. They said that with the one drawing Fred was trying to consolidate all the information his surveys & investigations had uncovered. Why don't they just look at that survey drawing now to confirm he knew about that ring bolt? These guys never seem to try to tie together all the information they already possess!
The perfect cliff hanger every episode leaves you hanging on the edge waiting for the revelation . I believe the search has already charged history and incredible revelations remain and that is the true treasure.
Que the announcer: "Ring bolts?...On Oak Island? Were these the ring bolts used by the aliens?"
Could the ring bolt may have been used by extraterrestrials? Ancient astronaut theorists, say YES.
'...or did the ring bolts come from alien worlds? Coming up next... the team meets a man who once knew a guy who had seen picture of a ring bolt and a picture of an alien, on the same day.'
@@davemcdave2169 Correction, not "pictures" of the two but artist renderings found in ancient texts unseen by human eyes.
They were worn as body decorations. 🙃
😂😂😂😂
This is more exciting than Cracker Jack's with peanuts and prize.
Umm no.
That’s where these fellas got their digging permits from.
More exciting than pouring salt on an open wound is more like it
Why not just dig up the whole money pit another 50 feet deeper and dig up that whole area. This is the area that gave rise in this whole treasure hunt. It’s either there or nowhere and you start all over again.
I don't think they are absolutely sure they have the right spot what I've watched. They have also made that general area unstable and could collapse. They also seem to get sidetracked with the different theories of what's there and what each area of the island represents
It could have moved or be down a tunnel away from money pit
Canada won't allow them to destroy the island. There are strict guidelines for the work.
The ring bolt anchored the Ferris wheel on the ancient amusement park for the fairies that lived in the area.
Fairies and genies
Best comment ever😂😂😂😂
Probably to secure a hoisted deer
I've been watching and getting cought up on all the shows. I didn't come across this show until COVID... Watched all that I could find.. then joined the History Ch. Loved the story of Oakland from the moment that I read the article... While in school... Season 10 can't wait.
Man... when are we gonna see all the treasures they are searching?
In season 1000 ... 😉😉😉
I can see how brothers hide their frustration
I'm 44, hopin I Iive long enough to see the Series Finale
What are you talking about I think they found a old button two seasons ago. And don’t forget the chunk of wood that may have been a beam. compelling stuff!! Haha
Hope they find heaps, you must give them an A for trying
You've found it"
The place where I use to tye up my horse.
Was there another ring bolt just across the path ? It makes sense that you would find one from the first so the cargo would progress the causeway evenly.
This show has better ratings than NBA basketball.
ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul. Translated into English: One Ring Bolt to rule them all, One Ring Bolt to find them, One Ring Bolt to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
The old maps of island shows it to be one island not 2. I wonder about that. I know rick likes to see where it goes and he wanted to do that with the stoned road but the one with trowel and paint brush wanted different, I could feel ricks energy. The whole team enjoying the mystery of things. Yes the road appears going in a certain direction but also looks like leading away from, chase that lead away see yes it does or doesn't. Then she can go back and brush dirt away from the original. Gary loves his finds, it's nice to see his joy again. Before someone takes it away from him and bags it. After all, he did find the item.
Which episode is it that Gary the metal detector expert mentions his ideas on the superstition mountains and lost Dutchman mine?
I cant even imagine how much money they have spent on this.
They are living life though instead of just being alive
I cant imagine how much money they have made from this series
It annoys me when they find something small(like a rock or piece of wood or leather)they stop & call everyone over to all agree(yes it’s a piece of wood, leather or rock) then they are like(we need to get this tested & dated) then work is basically done for the day. Man no wonder it’s taken +225years to find anything at this rate lol
When they found the ring bolt I was expecting some little guy in a loincloth show up and say in a raspy voice "My precious".
😂😂😂😂😂
Possably a counterweight for an A frame crane ,they worked like a balance beam slung up like a yard arm with movable weight at one end and a Block and tackle at the other ,you can lift a load off a cart and swing it around to another position then lower it down ,then connect the block and tackle to the base of the A frame to lift the counterweight and return the boom to the cart .
Useful for lifting Cannon's or heavy objects that need to be placed into position ,large stones ,bins of tunnel spoil .
Get excited each time they dig they find a new mystery is uncovered
More wood?
Found on an island?
COULD IT BE???
A clue to where the TREASURE is???
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I seem to remember Geraldo getting raked over the coals for Al Capone's "brick room filled with dirt, and more dirt".
But like James Woods says "ooh a piece of candy, ooh a piece of candy...." this show is still on....
But was it Dirt stolen by Capone?
@@TommLINY I take it you missed "Al Capone's Vault" a Geraldo special quite a few years ago? Al probably just used the room to store booze,.
The comments from you guys are more entertaining than the clip itself
And the quest for more TV advertising dollars continues.
Here we go stopping again 😂
I want to know why none of the youngsters are around when there's digging to be done????
After watching anxiously for 7 seasons, I’ve given up. All hype, no treasure to be found. Money pit? I doubt it existed.
IMHO, this is the most exciting show on TV!
INANE TRAIN has the best
oak island parody videos!
Truly enjoy watching Oak Island Treasure on the History channel. Also Found never seen Oak Island Master Map. Other info also. Have other treasure locations.
Keep on digging.
Lol whats the NFL, I will never watch a game ever again. Love the mysterious road and stone with ring hole.
I am a loyal fan since Lenard Nimoys In Search Of and I have been watching every episode of every season , I wanna see them drain the money pit already and find that ship in the swamp
Logically nobody is going to hide a valuable treasure on an island that's a couple hundred feet from the mainland.
I love the show. How old was he when he was a boy and saw the ring bolt. I cant remember, alot that far back. It is about the history, but the treasure is why it all started.
Get a life. Dig in your backyard. Plant a garden!
@@kenpotok8240 f o you.
Hey guys, I was thinking about the different dates of the stakes. Could it be, that the earlier date was the original road, they buried the ship in the swamp, let the swamp flood, then came back a 100 years later, draining the swamp and restaking the road? Another possible reason for two dates, is, maybe they used wood from the ship. These people were masters of craft. They could repair ships, and maybe the differences is because the ship was repaired. Any craftsman will use wood thats already cut, if they’re in the middle of no mans land! So they could of used cut wood stripped of bark from the masts, because it’s so much faster!??????
Fascinating what they find!
I think they need to keep following the road ... that lady told them all this info earlier...
...but we all still watch! 😂😂💀😍🏴☠️🏴☠️
Fellowship of the RING!!!
Over the years I've gotten tired / annoyed by the narrator's constant guessing questions: "Could this be this?!" "Could the unicorn pirates have hidden their sparkly waffle stash there??" "Could this have been used for that??" Come on just find some dang treasure already so we can stop listening to this guy guessing! Reminds me of the episode of south park history channel thanksgiving with aliens etc..
Just send Tony Beets and Parker up there, they'll find that gold.
Captain Nemo used to dock his submarine the Nautalis at Oak Island. He traded pearls with the native Indians for fresh water and smoked fish. He had no use for any type of treasure. He was on a mission to sink any sailing ships that carried treasure that had been forcibly taken from the inhabitants of Mexico and Central America and other countries where gold could be found.
Captain Nemo,. the fictitious "Forty Leagues under the Sea" Submarine Captain?
This was an old mine
They finally find the treasure..., and it’s rum! 😆
The thing is, with all the technology we probably couldn't bury something as ingeniously as the original depositors did. My question is if they went to such lengths, do we really want to know what it is?
Iam looking forward to season 9
The paved area would have been laid by the military since it had the manpower during the time it had an instillation on the island, so their dock and road going up to their work area didn't turn into a mud hole. The layer of organic material on top of the paved area which dates older than that time came from the spoil pulled from inside the island washing into the swamp. Digging the inside of the island out has reduced the island's height 15 feet. The material is still on the island, it is just spread out. This would not have occurred in an archeological dig, but in a treasure hunt it did.
The Money Pit was a smugglers' warehouse for rum evading import taxes. It has no relationship to the road. Coconut fibers were used for maritime shipping dunnage, because they don't sour and rot like hay. In fact, they are used for that today. The rum and the coconut fibers both come from the West Indies. The coconut fibers were buried to hide the illegal activity, because burning them would attract attention. There are no flood tunnels just trenches dug to hide the coconut fibers.
Geeze I sure hope your wrong . What you said is interesting but after all the money being spent on this show and such great expectations these brothers will be so crushed.
@@lindabegovich7463 The show is making money and probably covering the exploration costs and crew members. The brothers have already seen the end coming and have created a new show, BEYOND OAK ISLAND. The truth is, if anyone really does have a good idea where a treasure really is, it likely isn't going to be shown on a TV/cable show.
@@lewisdoherty7621 Lewis what you said makes sense and yes I did watch a few episodes of Beyond Oak Island not that they actually tried themselves looking for treasure and then it was gone. No more episodes. We will see if that returns.
I love Billy haircut
I wish some good Lyedar was done over the island. Like what's been done over the jungles and Mayan temples.
Spikes, nails, ring bolts, and occasionally a coin. Seems they would find something by now. Must be a big island.
Let me metal detect that island for one season and I bet I’ll find a bunch of treasure right under there nose 😁😂😁😂😁😂 that’s a fact 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Your Most Probably Definitely Right There Without A Shadow Of A Doubt.
I got Discovery plus hoping to watch oak island and The unexplained and history channel barely has any shows on Discovery plus I was so sad they're not available to watch
I'm thinking it was meant to be a money pit ! Lmao
They are certainly clearing an interesting path for Tom Nolan it come right up to the back of one of his sheds. It might make an excellent Bache course. I hope they put the clay driving surface back before they move along to something else. My brother's reoccurring saying is that in order to get a feel for a road, one must ride it at speeds that it was designed for. It is also curious how they got two different sets of stakes and it evidently hasn't occurred that the hundred year difference means that the road was surveyed twice. Once by it construction team and once again by someone aware of its existence. That potentially means that they are search for an empty hole. The treasure might have been placed in the 17th century and recovered in the mid 18th century or added to. What was found at the end of the 18th century might just be the vestige of the removal. Or it is possible that there is more than one money pit on the island.
That was used to moor up flying saucers.
Maybe next season they will find something or next 20 seasons
yea you would think by now they would have found more than a few coins and coconut scraps.
@@ckgun1 I hear Marty saying every season " We are only a few feet from the original money pit"
@@kennethnyhus1337 yea that seems to be a constant they found a few other objects but it never seems to be what they are originally looking for.
I threw that ring out of my Cessna when I flew over the island.
At least Geraldo did nothing in one episode.☁☁☁
I suggest leaving the swamp un filled in with water.
These guys have it made. Making money, paying others to search for something that doesnt exist. It's a never-ending flow of $. Truly the 'American Dream'.
More morning timber! 🤩
Are the safety vests necessary?
What are they protecting them from?
Absolutely hilarious.
It's (treasure) hunting season!
A 4 minute 25 second clip? To get you to watch the whole show? A shameless plug for advertising dollars?
Is this the episode???
That's a real Bobby dazzler guys
But is that the original location of the stone or was it moved from another place on the island?
Did they actually find something lol
More wood
Find*
Narrator says "they could have".
No not yet bottle top lol
Doubt it this show is BS
They spent 8 seasons and tens of millions $ and never found anything substantiable.
I think the stone road was used to move dirt away from the money pit dig to the area between the two islands to create the swamp. This would hide all the dirt from the dig. I don't think the road was made to move treasure to the money pit. The treasure was moved in via the dock in smiths cove. There is another entrance near smiths cove. The Y in the rock road feeds dirt from the money pit and the secret entrance to the swamp area.
Live this show
Kathy Evans- What?
After all these years it feels like Rick & Marty are closing in on something. What that is ....I dunno.
Do they have an endless amount of money to find old wood and dig deep holes lol
That’s what I say .. I bet if they let me metal detect in that island for a whole summer I’ll find more valuable stuff or way more clues.. 😂😂🙈😂😂
I wonder what the indigenous tribes know of events on that island.
Wow ! Nothing. Again .........
It's okay...Ring or ring bolt
Why not fly over island with the radar they use to find cities in the jungles and pyramids in Egypt ?
Why would they lay a path to the treasure?
Just dig it up and be done with it
I am getting bored....
Read this message Marty and Rick go drop an email to Tony Robinson and time team, give them 3 days and if there was any treasure they the professionals will find it
Gary "top pocket" Drayton
This exactly why I treasure hunter
How long you guys gonna milk this thing man? Good lord give us a break.
Just take it up and be done with it
Not another major breakthrough
Find some treasure already
More wood?
I don't see how your clay mine isa mine when you build a road to it you don't leave it full so it must be a plug
Why don't you check on the bus tone perhaps to some goodies
Very interesting video..I'm from Philippines and I am a treasure hunter and searching of Yanashita's treasure..I have videos on my channel about the signs that left by the Japanese Imperial Army during WW2.
I like this
What has a ring bolt got to do with the treasure. Ever thing was done in complete secrecy. It was a enormous cloak and dagger operation. The had to use hand saws to keep the noise down. Axes and hatchet were illegal because they were much too noisy. They could only work during the day when it was light out. After the sun went down it was lights out because any light on the island could be seen on the mainland so they sat there in the dark till the sun came up. Where did they hide all the dirt from digging the tunnels and the money pit that would have to be the size of Fort Knox on the bottom to fit all the cart loads of treasure from all the ships that docked there over the years. Maybe the idea of treasure was cooked up by a couple of crooked business men as a way to make some fast money. Certain things of value have been found recently but the island has had humans living on it for hundreds of years. These people brought some luxury items with them to the island.
Why would you put in a pathway to the money pit??? Kinda giving it all away
Ohhh look another rock!
We got Dynamite blow-up 170 ft hole at then 10 ft a treasure be there this is the modern days y'all act like you're working back into like Templars days 1600 I'm sure it didn't take them that long they were in and out what's in a year you all make it 20 years actually 200
Really sucks you are still behind 2 weeks AGAIN on posting the episodes to UA-cam. Please refund our money this is not fair! You never fixed the issue! All we want to do is watch what we paid for!!
