I never thought about it from Battler's perspective, as the logic tracks the lines of thought originate from him and him alone as he's the only person who is both a piece on the game board and a person in the meta realm, but it also adds thematic value to the story in validating the theme of magic which to some may seemed to have solely pertain to Ange. Great video
That's what really makes the story pop, there are so many ways to go about looking at things with the ambigious scenarios and information the story gives. Battler is a really interesting one given the roles he plays as a gameboard piece, observer, and game master. Oddly enough, even though he takes up a good amount of screentime, there is still a lot to his character that is intentionally vague. Thank you!
A relevant line from EP3's Red Web scene, something I haven't heard anyone talk about: "His soul still refused to submit... However, his *knees* had already started to accept submission."

That is a very itneresting line. I've been wanting to re-read Umineko to go back and catch all of these lines!
@@NeNeiSan You definitely should. I've reread it multiple times in different forms, yet even I still find new things, which are all amazing.

I absolutely love this analysis if you can do more umineko & higurashi analysis videos I’d be extremely happy
I'm glad! I'm always excited to look deeper, when an idea pops up I'll be more than happy to make another!
