This brand new Second Edition is now broken up into two unique Volumes which contain tons of great new content and feature four times as many pistols and almost five times as many photographs as the First Edition. Volume 1 focuses on the early days of the 1911 through the two World Wars and into the modern military and law enforcement iterations of the pistol, while Volume 2 concentrates on the development of the customized 1911. Honestly he looks good. His eyes too. I think he looks better than in other videos from before.
@Matthew I watched my wife go thru it for longer than that with a particularly aggressive case of Breast Cancer. She survived and is now cancer free for some eleven years. But she is a SHADOW of her former self. The Neuropathy associated with the Chemotherapy just wiped out her enduring fitness.
If the man wants his health to be private, let him be. Pestering him for updates is unfair. He doesn't owe it to anyone to explain how he's doing.

When other kids were playing games, Ball or whatever, I was studying hand guns. Starting at age 12 I rec's my first powder burner handgun having learned to shoot with no sights with an old Crosman no sight's pumper pellet gun starting at age 6. . I learned to shoot by Instinet with handgun, bow and yep, good old Southern tradition, the Slingshot. .
I grew up with american Handgunner mag. My I looked up to people like Bill Jordan, Elmer Keith, Ed McGivern, Bill Wilson, Swenson, Lee Juris, Jeff Cooper, Bill Rogers, Les Baer, and later' Doug Koenig, Rob Lethem, and Mr. Mitchulic and of course, the master, his Father in law, and you Mr. Vickers.
I was looked on as strange, mostly being adopted by what I now know was a very liberal family that hated guns. they tried everything to dissuade my love of shooting.
I am now 67 years old, and am only still here due to the teachings of these fine folks and yourself in the elite of handgunning. I guess you would say, as did Bill Jordan, there is no "Second Place Winner.
I own each and every one of you my life. And to this day, I very much enjoy the sport. Sad that my family felt that I should have died rather than take another's life. I still cannot wrap my main around that. The perp hand killed several people before being a member of Satan's Disciples. I was sent to counseling because I was supposed to feel guilty at being alive and a survivor.
