I love biscuits and gravy but haven't tried using chorizo...which I love as well with scrambled eggs and hash browns. This has been a great morning picking up three of your breakfast recipes, Sarah. At this time Amazon is out of stock on your oven ($38) but will be in stock by the end of this month. I have two single burner Coleman stoves but I will order one of the Camp Chef dual burners.
I like the new version of the intro music. I just tried this recipe. Even though it may not be the healthiest for most people, for those of us on the Keto diet this is perfect. I had to substitute the biscuit with a carb friendly tortilla. I'm not good at baking my own Keto type bread, so the burrito will have to do.Tried it with some Mexican style shredded four cheese. Double yum.
Oh my ANOTHER easy and DELICIOUS Breakfast, never mind the oil (Wine or Beer) will equal it out. The oven and stove are a good addition to Sarah's KITCHEN... 🤠
haha with the title I thought you were saying $35 oven baked biscuits. Like $35 for the biscuits.... I feel better that the oven cost $35! Nice videos. I have been addicted to them lately.
I like the Mountaineer more than my Partner, I appreciate the extra cooking space. As much as I like the stoves they don't get used nearly as often as my single burner Blackstone griddle.
Have you checked out the Camp Chef stove/oven ( I think they call it a coven ) ? It's bigger and heavier but it bakes great !! I have one, fulltime in a van, and use a Gazelle Gazebo for my camp kitchen, works great for me and was cheaper than your combination. Well worth using if you have room and like to bake.
Being Australian I’ve heard about biscuits & gravy but I had no idea what it is. I still don’t know, but at least now I have an idea what they look like!
the camp chef looks great but looks like its more flexible than the partner steel housing. is it thinner metal than your other stove? and welded also? just wandering. and oh price and what model that comes close to it in cook partner.
We have a local BBQ restaurant that serves on metal plates and the food always seems to cool down before you can finish it, is that what you have found to be the case with your metal plates?
Yes, they do! We tested some vacuum insulated plates from Amazon recently... They popped their seals and one nearly slung hot food all over us when it released!
Starving me to death my east TN brethren! (From C'Gap) Gonna fix this tomorrow morning just before church. Hope I don't get too "windy" during the service. Lol
Spanish style chorizo is a good option for camping. It's a dry style unlike Mexican chorizo so it doesn't require refrigeration. IMO it has a better flavor profile because the spices have had time to concentrate.
Tried to get this stove in the UK but they don’t ship. Shame as it would be a big hit. Great video as ever, keep it going guys. Does your merch ship worldwide?
Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup all purpose flour to the meat when frying it then add a can of non sweetened condensed milk instead of cream. Even better plus you don't have to refridgerate the canned milk
Looks awesome, however, biscuits and gravy are traditionally made with all-purpose flour and whole milk. 1 lb of sausage, browned 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour sprinkled in after sausage browns 2 cups of whole milk added after flour absorbs rendered fat stir on medium heat until thickened
Ah yes! another cooking lesson with "Mama Bear" I can see "Tigger" in gastronomical heaven. Enjoying "Mama Bear's" tasty meal. One that I will try to replicate tomorrow morning. By chance will you all be going to "Overland Expo West" on 24-26 July, 2020 in Flagstaff, AZ??? Many friends will be there. "Long Range America" Overland Bound" "JPR Automotive" and yours truly and the "Boss". I do hope to see you there. Cheers, Mate.
Galen Perkins and their vehicles have Tennessee plates on them. They know that once the meat is cooked they need to put some flour in there as the thickener before adding milk.
That camp Chef Stove is Not made of aluminum. It is steel. I have used and loved Camp Chef for over five years. Only ever had to replace a damaged hose and one regulator in that time.
they dont buy any of this stuff, it is given to them for review. I would take most of these reviews with a grain of salt. . Start a channel and you will receive stuff too.
It be fun to cook a meal under the stars with that camper trailer a starter saled with cranberries and walnuts roast lamb with garlic and rosemary & potatoes some veg goblets a bottle of 1984 bottle of wine cabernet then finish with a Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake Topped with Hazelnut Crunch and Nutella with a glass of porton a set the table for 2 with a white table clothe with Scarlett dinner wear it be kinda funny to be camping & eat like that dress in wear nice dress clothes that be a nice night out for 2 maybe we can see it in a video
You need to take pity on us non-Americans! Chorizo? Never heard of it! And, biscuits, and gravy? Together? Americans eat weird! :) The new stoves sure look good though. Good for making the proper beans for breakfast!
It came from europe to the americas, it is the same pig sausage the romans made the brits eat in the past. Cinnamon and spice and everything nice, just leave out the squeal. It is SOS (sh1t on shingle) just biscuit instead of toast. But I cannot believe a southerner doesn't add flour to the gravy first it is almost blasphemy to hear corn starch, that is something a New Yorker would do.
Oh great, another piece of equipment I didn't know I needed
transistor311 👆🏼 is so true!!
🤣
Such is life, eh!?
Your timing is spot on. I'm planning a solo trip for 4 weeks living out of my Jeep. I'm not a cook but simple recipes like this really help. Thanks.
That happy dance at the end tho.... that's how you know its good!

This was not the video I needed to watch an hour after my fasting cut-off time. Now I'm hungry as hell.
“My chorizo” Lol.
Chorizo for breakfast is one of my favorites. I will definitely try this.
I use the cheap tube of chorizo and add flour to make a Roux before adding milk. My kids love it and it's so simple.
Nothing better than the bottom of a crispy fluffy biscuit. My favorite part!
Cool! Even I think I can do that! Thanks guys.

Heck yeah. Add flour to the rendered grease instead. Better flavor than corn starch. Lovin the cooking videos. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my ANOTHER easy and DELICIOUS Breakfast, never mind the oil (Wine or Beer) will equal it out. The oven and stove are a good addition to Sarah's KITCHEN... 🤠
DANG! I’m headed for the Mojave Rd. next week. (Finally getting out) This will be a perfect time to try it. Thank you. OIIIIIIIO
Looks delicious we are going to try this recipe thanks for sharing 👍
I loved this video ..simple ...and you can make it at home. Love ur videos guys!!
i bought one of those coleman ovens...haven't had the chance to use it yet...but sure looks like it works good !!!
Even after dinner it makes me hungry. Not fair! Take care and be safe out there.
Love your videos Please keep doing some during this life altering inconvienience
Definitely have to try that out while camping here in southern Wisconsin!
New channel: Outdoor Cooking with Sarah
Why don’t we have taste and smell sensors in UA-cam yet?!
I don't know for sure how long those coloman ovens have been around, but I do remember my Mom got one in 1956 and she used it for years.
Love to watch reviews and to top it off with cooking that is over the top ,👍 thank y’all
I had one of those back in the late 60's early 70's, use to make a chocolate cake in it.
You just lost any southern roots you had, corn starch? Southern gravy has good browned flour in it even with chorizo. lol
haha with the title I thought you were saying $35 oven baked biscuits. Like $35 for the biscuits.... I feel better that the oven cost $35! Nice videos. I have been addicted to them lately.
Love the meadowlarks singing out.
I like the Mountaineer more than my Partner, I appreciate the extra cooking space. As much as I like the stoves they don't get used nearly as often as my single burner Blackstone griddle.
Yummy, looks great! Another receipe for your cookbook!

Try getting some welder blanket, cut to fit around the Colman stove, holds heat so much better.
Next on my cooking list, thank you.

@@LifestyleOverland I prewarm plates all the time on the grill, it could work to your advantage and keep your food warm 🤔
Starving me to death my east TN brethren! (From C'Gap) Gonna fix this tomorrow morning just before church. Hope I don't get too "windy" during the service. Lol
I think the grate on the camp chef stove may be on upside down.

What was the final verdict on the Camp Chef stove? I'm a fan of their products and have several. Just curious.
That fly lol 😂
How much heavy whipping Cream did you use. And was that a pound of chorizo?
Are you still using the Mountaineer stove? And did you ever flip the rack on it over - looks upside down.
Tried to get this stove in the UK but they don’t ship. Shame as it would be a big hit. Great video as ever, keep it going guys. Does your merch ship worldwide?
Damn, my tongue just beat my brains out flapping. Great job!
🤣 love that saying!
Somewhere in a past video you used a "diesel heater" for your tent, Could you please send me a link to that? TIA
Carey On Vagabond channel in a class B uses the oven all the time. Great equipment on the road.
So amazing good filming 🙌😍♥️
Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup all purpose flour to the meat when frying it then add a can of non sweetened condensed milk instead of cream. Even better plus you don't have to refridgerate the canned milk
Ha, if I needed all this to go outdoors id stay home. To each their own😂
Sarah is like a winning lottery ticket.
lol got out of here son thats my chorizo. you crack me up!!! great video

Looks Great...Tks Guys
I have never seen gravy made with heavy cream. I was always taught to use milk. #MindBlown
Hows'bout a review on that Camp Chef?
How do I get one of those coffee cups
Ah yes! another cooking lesson with "Mama Bear" I can see "Tigger" in gastronomical heaven.

Um abraço do Brasil !
Ain’t no flour in that gravy? (Stares in southern) 😂😂

✋💎🍀🍀🍃🍃🍃🌳🌾📹💻🌎.
Lindas imagens ...
Abraços desde BRASIL.
Just add some over easy eggs. Breakfast of champions.
Good, the only thing missing is scrambled eggs on the plate....
So here is the question. Which gets hotter??? Camp Chef or Partner??????🤪
That camp Chef Stove is Not made of aluminum. It is steel. I have used and loved Camp Chef for over five years. Only ever had to replace a damaged hose and one regulator in that time.
Hmm, my magnet won't stick and it's pretty light... Website says aluminum 👍 maybe it's an updated version.
And that how a RBMK-type nuclear reactor explodes. Sound good though.
So? Does the chef camp do well against the partner??
🇧🇷👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏🌹🍔
$
Just wishing I could afford either one of these stoves and you have them lying around for months 😔
they dont buy any of this stuff, it is given to them for review. I would take most of these reviews with a grain of salt. . Start a channel and you will receive stuff too.

That's called "Glamping" overlanders don't clamp! We don't have room for our chef in our camping rigs. Lol
Boring :( lol. You made me hungry 😋
You need to take pity on us non-Americans! Chorizo? Never heard of it! And, biscuits, and gravy? Together? Americans eat weird! :) The new stoves sure look good though. Good for making the proper beans for breakfast!
