Loved this video so much! I really appreciate the videos where you show the combos, it really helps. Thank you so much for all of the effort that you put into your videos. I always feel like I am just sitting on your porch and you are giving me the best advice! Thanks again.
Read a comment about you listing the hardiness zones for your plants for the ease of the viewers who don’t live in your zone, and listing all the plants themselves. I have seen this before in your videos and the price at your mail order business. All great. I am 80 now and a lifelong gardener. I sit with my pencil, paper and iPad, for any garden show, and then pause the video, look it up, if I am interested, because you simply cannot give all the info I might want, including deer and rabbit resistance. Or, look it up later on when my list is complete. Good Lord! When you deal with the public there is what seems an insatiable need for perfection for them. You provide the broad information and the details are easily available online or even at the library. Great job.
Pugster Blue is perfection. Grew larger than I expected, but the color and butterflies are eye catching and it requires no care for deer and stays colorful for months. Can’t believe you showed Double Play Doozie spirea, which I planted behind the Pugster blue, and am thrilled with. Bought specifically for deer resistance they are a nice combination.
Hi Jenny🌺 . What a beautiful plants all look so pretty . I love gardenia flowers and its sweet smell and this flower so ptetty on you hair . Have a great day .🌺🌻🌺
I would honestly fly down to you to get your advice on my landscaping because I love your ideas so much! Thank you so much for taking time to share so much great information!! 😊💕
Heaven knows I love my flowers, but those shrubs are absolutely stunning. I want to add a new shrub to my front flower beds and you've given me some great suggestions. Wish I lived closer to you because you'd see me strolling through all those gorgeous plants and gardens on a regular basis. Thanks for sharing Jenny.
I have Florida Sunshine illicium, 4 of them, in three hours of sun, about 11 to 2, in VA. This is one great plant. In the ground for four years now, it stays a brilliant color the whole year. Talk about stunning. And, deer are not a problem,
Beautiful combos! The Dragon Prince cryptomeria is so perfect for a container. Mine is in a square Unique Stone planter. Lovely classic look, no maintenance, deer walk right by it 😊
Jenny and Jerry. Love watching your beautiful landscaping. Everything looks beautiful. Have to tell you that you have the darkest beautiful eyes. Love dark brown eyes 🌺🌹💐
Love this! Got a question. I live in the Texas panhandle so I unfortunately can’t come to your garden center…but are y’all willing to help out with my landscaping from afar? And how much would you charge? Thanks for all you do! Y’all are awesome!! 🫶🏻
Thanks for such a fun and informative video. 7b east of Nashville here. In your next porch chat, could you address shrubs for areas that only get sun for 4-5 hous a day, even hot afternoon sun? Thanks!
It would be so much nicer if you would give the hardiness zone of every plant you recommend &/or a link to it. At the very least, list it in the description or in the video so that the spelling is available to make it easier to find more about it online for my zone. I know your main goal is selling plants at your nursery, but you might get more likes & views on your videos. It is the main reason I don't watch often since I don't live in your area. But it could just be me feeling frustrated.
It’s just you feeling frustrated. Sure, they are a zone 8, but they grow and sell plants that succeed in a wide range of zones. Creekside is providing a view of plant choices, examples in their own garden of how they might work, and all workable choices for a broad range of zones. Everyone’s best bet for the best plants for their zone is to ride around and look at what other people have successfully planted, go to the local nursery and see what they carry, or keep in touch with the local ag department, free to all. You will see many comments here about people not successfully growing something or other that Ginny can. She is there to give you ideas, choices in form and function, and explain what can help keep it all healthy. They have viewers in Michigan and New York, certainly not their zone. Wish we could all get the backyard sort of individualized program that would be specific to our zone, but that’s unlikely. Glad we have a few great sources in any case. And, growers like Proven Winners are on line and you can buy for your zone on there.
Thank you for your feedback, but as we have stated numerous times the goal of our nursery tours is to show folks what we have to offer at our retail garden center. As always, we encourage folks to research any plants that they are interested in. Because we cover SO MANY plants in nursery tours, it is not practical for us to list every plant fact on the screen (to do so would literally take multiple HOURS of editing). During our other 4 videos each week, we list and explain in depth about the plants we are using. At the end of the day, this is why I encourage our viewers to be students of their own gardens 😊
@@GardeningwithCreeksideI can understand your not having the time. I'm sorry for saying anything. But the part about being a "student" just pricks a little because the source of my frustation was my trying to do that, as I always do, when I tried to find "Illicium". I first tried to spell it with an "e" and did go to your website 1st. I did finally find it online. That's when I impulsively wrote my comment. Just not one of my better days.

Your videos are perfect as they are. She's giving us options of plants that are available. Just look up zone to see if it works. Easy peasy

Very well said 😊

I’m so happy to hear that you found these ideas helpful!
Thank you for the video this morning on a holiday. Jenny’s face is bright with no dark shadows. So the plants show up really well for us viewers!
Happy Labor Day!
I am chomping at the bit to see your video on the terrace garden walls
Heading your way Wednesday!

Hey, Jenny everything is looking so beautiful and fresh even in our heat and humidity on this “Memorial Day “! ❤
Labor Day
My only "shade" garden gets sun until about 11 am. I so wish I could have a true shade garden! I miss that from my last house
Those are fun combos! I like to look at the online selections that you offer, and read more about some of the plants to see if they’ll work for me.
Thx Jenny.
Thank you for your weekly videos, I’ve ’e learned so much which also makes me research more especially for my area ❤❤❤❤
Good morning Jenny! Love these combinations. Looking forward to growing the Yardline Viburnum. I picked up one when I came over this past Saturday.
Good morning! I saw you from a distance; I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to say hello. Keep me updated on how Yardline does for you!

Good morning, Jenny☕️ I love all the plants in your zone. Thoughts 💭 on the pillow talk surviving up here in Boston, Ma zoze 6? Have a Blessed Day😊🐶

Great suggestion!
Hey Jenny, can you grow steady as she goes gardenia in full sun? Zone 8a?
You sure can!
Will the little lime punch in Atl Ga 8a (all day intense full direct) sun burn up without drip irrigation?
Mine don't
Do you have plants for zone 4b?
We sure do! You can visit our website at www.gardeningwithcreekside.com and search by your zone.
