I’m not a string player, but I play a couple different woodwind instruments. I’m not a professional, but would love to and am considering it for after high school although I have another (more stable) career in mind but will keep music on the side. Instruments are expensive! I plan on buying a bass clarinet soon, 3k for one of the cheaper student models. But it’s the model I play in school which I can play from low Eb to sometimes the altissimo G (only if I work up to it, can comfortably play altissimo E though), but that’s the full range of that model. Then I also play tenor saxophone and a little bit of soprano clarinet (haven’t have a decent one in years, the one I have has keys that stick too much to play consistently, it was free). I wish instruments were a bit cheaper. I would die for a professional bass clarinet that goes down to low C and possibly up higher than the G!

You should analyze which of YOUR choices someone else would consider "absurd."
@@pauldeck4500 I never said you can’t spend your own money on it. It’s your money, buy whatever you want. I’m just saying it’s an absurd amount of money to spend and isn’t comparable to cars and clothes. Also saying that lessons cost a lot too doesnt really help your case lol
@@Lffewgj I'm just wondering why spending on violins and violin lessons is "absurd" but spending the same amount on golf lessons or tennis lessons or figure skating lessons or sailing lessons (all of which require specialized gear, plus tee/court/rink time) -- why those are not "absurd" too. The reason people react so negatively to it being expensive to learn the violin is just because they weren't aware of that before, and they don't understand the workmanship and experience that goes into making a truly fine violin or bow, or the training that goes into being able to teach someone else how to play it.
I’d recognize the background music from anywhere! Concerto in D Minor for Two Violins by Bach
Yes! 🙌🏼❤️
Maybe it's just me, but ALL of the kids look exhausted and anaemic. They may live what they are doing, but please get them checked out and ensure they're sleeping enough.
It’s early Sunday morning ☺️ and they always stay up too late on Saturday night 😍
@@TheHappyCaravan ah right. No wonder. Even as an adult I look like that early morning! Please do look into the anaemia aspect, though. The dark circles under the eyes were one of the ways the doc suspected I had it. Girls and women are more susceptible.
Their music is absolutely beautiful, and I wish all kids good luck in everything they do. 💖
@@Emerald.She-Ra Thank You!
MY FLUTE IS FREE💀 AND ITS HIGH QUALITY 💀💀💀
Ain't no way blud is spending over 10000 dollars while my viola is 49 and crazy high quality
Omg I would kill for a violin that’s 14k. Imagine the tone 🥲
We saw you guys playing in the nyc subway the other day
So cool! The older kids like to play there. It’s how they pay for music lessons and tuition ❤️
Anyone else feel a little weird that the ENTIRE family is into classical music instruments, specifically violin, violas and cellos? Like they were forced into it?
was about to comment this.
it's a family tradition.
If they are exposed at a young age they would get used to it.
It happens all the time with physicians and lawyers and other companies.
They were most certainly forced into it. This has Mormon vibes.
You got an entire orchestra at that point
The sound of their playing better be PRICELESS😆
You guys are raising an orchestra 😂
What makes a bow cost that much? I know instruments are pricey (I had a $6000 banjo), but I had no idea that bows can cost more than the instrument.
This is something I am curious to know, as well!
I think it is the craftsmanship! It really affects the sound surprisingly!
That's the same for certain wind instruments. My son plays bassoon and the bocal (small metal tube that fits into the bassoon and to which the double reed is fitted) for his bassoon cost several thousand dollars. The quality of the bocal really affects the sound of the instrument.
Yet I play the flute and it was only 1500 😂
mine was only $300 💀

WHA-WHAT I NEVER HAD ONE OF THOSE AMOUNTS EVER PUTTING TOGETHER EVERYTHING
Them bows are straight from the Unicorn's tail
Kim Jung Un was talking about
THE TINY CELLO
🥹❤️
Man, only one viola? I play viola, and I feel like no one plays it.. 😢😢
I do❤😊
Not trying to flex but i got a 200$ school violin
Sameeeee 🤪🫠🥲
at my school, the instruments are usually 300-500
but the quality is honestly bad
for the level of skill these kids play at this makes sense
OMG EVEN THE LAST KID OMG THERE ALL SO TALENTED
Weird to me to see very bitter people in the comments be upset about a family of success. They obviously worked hard for what they have. People are allowed to enjoy things they work hard for. I'm very proud of the kids. ⭐💕
🙏❤️
We know nothing about their "hard work". For all we know they just play the stock market.
is it about money? why does it matter how much it cost? the greatest instrumental players in the world can make any music sound good no matter the cost. lets change how you present yourself and children too the rest of the world, of how to become youself without mentioning how much something cost. You should have let them play their instuments instead of posting how much their instruments cost. Dont put people down, they dont have the same resources that you have!! Show your audience that they can afford greatest with the little money that they have (like me).
Sending my first Super Thanks. I'm listening to your Live practice session now, and came here to send a bit of support. Blessings!
Thank you!🙏❤️
@@Dheuedbv why is it that someone else's generosity ~or appreciation~ offends you so?
MY LORD THOSE BOWS- MY PARENT’S WALLETS ARE CRYING 😭😭
That’s why I rent my cello
I honestly don't get why you have to tell the world what you spend on your kids.
It's great that you let them play but why this.... don't get it!
Weird flex, but ok..
It’s funny that whenever something cost under 10,000 they made an explanation for it 😂
Wild that everyone plays strings! Flute player here and I've always wanted to play viola but am currently trying to begin tackling the alto flute after playing the c flute for many years.
This feels really fucking weird.
You’re fucking weird, just because of that comment I know you don’t play an instrument
Maybe it’s expensive because they’re a professional at it . 💪
The fact that Naomi’s bow is more expensive than the instrument itself 😂
the baby with the lil cello (i think) is so adorable 🥰 🥰 🥰
Not me relating as a violinist but I couldn’t help but see Anna flipping us off😭💀
Wow i would never have thought those instruments would be so expensive, great talented family
I guys could make a band tbh with that much ppl
WOAH yall got a whole orchestra!!!!!
the middle kid is so real the only one thats having it rented
God damn! This whole family , could basically run their very own orchestra😂
I play trombone and was surprised about the costs! My trombone was used when I got it and was like 1,500. If it were new then maybe 3-4,000. Keep up the good work, you guys sound great
Me too. I play an EB White from 1940. I bought it used 50 years ago for $200 (a steal of a price!)
