Don't know if she enjoyed playing with the violin in those years. Please smile. Don't just do it by your parent's request. Do it only if you're enjoying doing it. SMILE, SMILE, SMILE...
I started violin lessons at the age of 72. Best advice-- practice scales and string transitions. Try to practice 15 minutes in the morning and then again at night.
I wish I could play violin, I don’t have money to afford them and want to take orchestra class, it’s so good to see a kid improving on my biggest dream
Thank you ! I have been using rented violins for many years My dad says the price for renting is very reasonable and good quality Don’t give up on your dream !
Brings back fond memories. Our daughter started Suzuki violin at 4.75 yo, and continued through high school. Nice to see this girl moving well through the Suzuki books. I started violin with my daughter, which many parents do, and it was a bonding experience that continued for many years. I got as far as book 4, and we played the Bach Double Concerto together at one point, with her surpassing me (the first part of the Bach Double is in Book 5). There are some real prodigies that we ran across. Leila Josefowicz is a year older than our daughter and we met her at our first summer Suzuki institute in San Francisco in 1984. Leila was six years old and she was in Book 6. You can look her up in wiki.
You play like a angel 😇 What a great talent from little days..I also play the violin 🎻 Violin is my favourite instrument. But I couldn't play like you when I was little. But now I can play it 😊 You are really talented..Keep it up ❤😊
I am very impressed on her improvement of every year. I wish I would of started playing the violin in a younger age I started at 9 years old and rn I’m 12 I think if I started playing like 6-7 years old I would be a little more determined, and of courely I would have more experience and would play better. You are a very talented girl don’t every give up keep playing you sound amazing. At the age of 8 you could already play what I’m learning right now, Humoresque, by Dvořák.
advice from a violinist. i suggest if you are a teacher try to fix the bad habits that will mess your students up early on, (wrong bow holds, moving the upper arm, etc.) so they dont stick to those habits when they get older.
Wow, she still talented. I probably could never only because I do play the cello not the violet I want one too, but I just had the cello in my heart like I had to play it.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hmmm please doing something you'll find fun and joy with, play music takes a lot love, devotion and most of all the talent.... Don't do it because your family is asking or demand to do it.
Thank you for your concern ! I enjoy and love playing the violin There were also many times I wanted to quit also but I always come back to it because I love it
im turning 10 next month and i started playing violin last month im a beginner i do violin lessons in school on Tuesdays, still learning how to use the bow lmao
@@HappyUniverseFamilyTrust me, I dont smile when I play the piano either. Not cuz I hate it, but its that im concentrating. Another reason is that I dont like smiling in public. Of course idk anything about this girl, but just saying just cuz I aint smiling, doesnt mean Im not happy.
It’s normal for 4 year olds. I started at 4. One year for all the twinkle variations. One year for the rest of book one (except maybe one or 2 pieces). Lessons are 15 min long when you’re 4. Practice is like 10. Plus all the other musical skills you learn through physical interpretation is very obvious later, compared to people who never did it.
@@audreyjohnston6879I wonder how her teachers taught her how to improve her technique. Like other ways other than playing. I noticed that the teacher at the beginning made she she didn’t move her right shoulder a lot, and mainly her wrist. There were smaller bow movements
Slow and steady wins the race! She mastered twinkle and played it fantastically and then moved on to harder pieces. I started learning at 5 and my violin teacher made sure I mastered all the basics before moving on to more difficult pieces with the risk of using wrong technique and learning bad habits.

Such a pretty girl ….but where is her smile from both joy or satisfaction of a job well done ?
Maybe she concentrates too hard to think of smiling
I play violin and it takes concentration it’s not that she is sad she is focused
She is focusing

a new chloe chua? The work of perseverance and devotion is incredible.
A 6 year old Chloe Chua probably plays better than an 11 year old me 😂😂
It’s lovely to see the musical journey of a child who works hard. I love the Suzuki method. It turns ordinary children into the extraordinary.
It makes me want to learn more violin!

At 7:26 I think it was so cool she could play it without looking at her violin 🎉
That's awesome that she went through 3 Suzuki books in 1 year.
