I'm an American who moved to Canada 13 years ago and I noticed that on the local news here when reporting on a story they will say something like " ....is in hospital." or "...they took them to hospital." I mean, the first few times I heard that I thought I was hearing things. So now Jim confirmed it. :)
Now that my city, Minneapolis, MN, has officially been declared a hellhole by a well respected radio announcer, I too appreciate US Northeasterners' righteous anger!
There is a saint of fisher men who was tied to an anchor and thrown into, I believe, a port by Roman soliers.. the guy was one of the first popes back when they didint have power but before they didint have power.
Padre Pio is a saint. He worked many miracles in his lifetime. I think he died in the '60's. Somehow religious humor falls flat to me. I guess if you believe in nothing, everything is ridiculous.
