A very good reaction and you are right, you cannot compare this amazing duet to Marcelito's remarkable soprano and tenor voices. It comes down to personal preference for The Prayer and I simply prefer to listen to the magnificent elegance and sibling harmony of Lucy and Martha - for me, the most beautiful rendition I have ever heard, or would want to hear! 😊

Agree with you - I have also heard other great versions of this song, this one is just different and hard to compare to anything IMO. Two beautiful young english girls (teens) belting out Italian in perfect harmony and timing just kind of sets this apart. The incomparable Lucy & Martha Thomas - Tremendous as always!
Heard this version dozens of times,still sounds amazing!,haven't heard every cover,but doubt if there are any better!,the other cover you mentioned dosen't do it for me,clever but grating,certainly couldn't listen to it over & over as I can with Lucy (one of the finest vocalists on the planet)& Martha.
