I see what you did, you used the kids as insulation from the sun by pointing their room towards the sun…..lol

We also have 1600W of solar with 525AH of battery (Lion Energy @105AH per battery). Our rig has a propane/electric refrigerator, which gives us a pretty good buffer when we run the AC. Experiments I've tried gives up 4-5 hours of AC, running it in the afternoon into the evening, and leaving us enough power to still be able to watch TV (either Roku or Dish) prior to going to bed. I'm looking at adding 1 more battery (storage space is the issue). I am considering moving to a 12v AC system in the future which gives us more run time because we would have the loss with the power conversion through the inverter. I do like your idea of changing the direction the trailer is set up and will give that a try on one of our next trips.
One thing you might consider is set out the side awning and use one of the screens you can attach. We use one and can see a temp drop of several degrees. It also helps with keeping the intake air vent for our refrigerator cooler, cuts down glare and still gives us a great view.
Very informative video and a few things for us to consider.

Thank you for sharing! We too have considered adding an additional 100-200ah worth of batteries, but we're on the fence. Thanks for watching and safe travels!
