Thank you so much for taking the time to talk about framing/finishing and showing some beautiful examples. I especially loved your point around the idea of ‘better on the wall than in a drawer, even if imperfect.’ It’s so true; I’ve definitely had pieces languish for years in a drawer, completed, but not finished or framed. I also loved your comments on not pointing out our mistakes; every piece is different and any ‘errors’ we make are part of the fact that it is handmade art! If we wanted something perfect, we would buy a painting. I also thought your suggestions on creating mats from different styles of paper is excellent. Often a mat can really elevate a piece, and I will definitely be incorporating these into my future finishes. Lastly, it was beautiful to see your wolves and lighthouse come alive in your stitching this video. It is always a treat to glimpse what you’re working on. Thanks again, Mary Rose. I've enjoyed seeing all those finishes, congratulations! They are impressive but they are also intimidating for a slow stitcher such as me. Could you please tell us how much time does it take you to complete a normal and a petite Dimensions? As for Douglas, you are right, he makes so much more sense between the coulds you have chosen for him. But my fav this time was that English landscape, it looks so realistic and it induces me such a calm state of mind... Happy stitching!
🦋 Hi there, thankyou for your company! I once did a Maynia video (where I just about completed 2 Dimension petites cottages in that month. The bigger Dimensions do take longer of course though! I think that I get through my Dimensions quite quickly because I prepare the chart, threads and the fabric with gridding before I start. Apart from graffiti, counting is the biggest slower downer of stitching. Gridding minimises counting as well as showing up mistakes pretty fast which means very little frogging. Video number #114 has some of my handy petites hints! Happy Stitching! xx:):)🌹
Your stitching amazes me. I have a large full coverage ( country mouse/ city mouse) at 85%. I'm hesitant of starting another full coverage because of my age!! But now I'm going to!! If I am not able to finish it..oh well !! Thank you

Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy them. I am currently working on Village Canal and am close to a finish. It's so nice to see it done. We have similar interests. Love the framing ideas. They don't have to cost a fortune. Also, the album to keep your finishes is a great way to display them. Mine get left around and I forget about them. I end up giving a lot away, too. Jesus, at the last supper, is a beautiful picture. I have that one, too. I haven't done it yet. I'm also going to do couching. It does make a line look so much better. Love all your work. ❤

Oh Yeah!! I was just browsing through You Tube and here is another delightful video from Stitch Bliss Corner. I was so happy to see how Cat Pilot turned out with a frame and it is perfect. I'm currently trying to stitch Cat Pilot too, but not making much progress. 18 count is a bit too small for my old eyes, so it takes me forever to make any progress. May I ask, Where did you get your clouds and blue sky fabric? I searched high an low couldn't find one with clouds that was big enough. Did you hand dye it yourself? I love the wolf picture too. And your village canal picture is beautiful too. All of your projects look so nice. You have such a talent. God Bless You Mary Rose. And your husband too. I do so enjoy watching what your stitching videos. They always lift my spirits and encourage me to keep stitching.
