Fancy Boots looks fantastic. I am always amazed when regular floss can look like light reflecting, like on the ball foot of the table leg. I dislike moving so much that I stress out for other people when they're moving. 😅 And, I can't imagine that you can go wrong with a turkey wrapped in bacon. I wish you a blessed and joyous 2023.

I love your moving story. I was in the USAF and moved 21 times in 25 years, including overseas. I've moved on my own another 9 times since 2001. I have to say that they have been smoothly done. I'm glad you found movers after all. Dear Guest is absolutely beautiful! The boots, the carpet, the coat, the tablecloth are all so spectacular. The details really come out with the stitching. I'm watching you tonight while beading a gazillion beads on Mill Hill Saxony Santa ornament. Your little fairy kit is really cute. I would have to start them right away as a reprieve from full coverage. I cooked the full entourage of Thanksgiving dishes last month, so for Christmas I'm going out to eat at a buffet here, stagger away from the table, make my way home. And, fall asleep with food coma. I am stitching on 18 count Aida ~ I wanted a robust fabric for this one and I find 18 count is perfect for full coverage ~ unless I want really fine features on faces, and then I go for a higher count. I have a table very much like yours. The bottom part isn't split, just one piece across, but it does tilt. I'd originally thought I'd have my chart on the bottom part and my laptop above, but quickly realized that typing on my laptop that far away and over any charts would be cumbersome, so now it's my laptop table and catchall on the top!!!! But, the wheels on mine do not automatically lock, whenever I need to move it, I can. I'm sorry that yours doesn't - takes away the convenience!

I bought a print of his painting from his website and then used a computer program to create a cross stitch chart. I love your moving story. I was in the USAF and moved 21 times in 25 years, including overseas. I've moved on my own another 9 times since 2001. I have to say that they have been smoothly done. I'm glad you found movers after all. Dear Guest is absolutely beautiful! The boots, the carpet, the coat, the tablecloth are all so spectacular. The details really come out with the stitching. I'm watching you tonight while beading a gazillion beads on Mill Hill Saxony Santa ornament. Your little fairy kit is really cute. I would have to start them right away as a reprieve from full coverage. I cooked the full entourage of Thanksgiving dishes last month, so for Christmas I'm going out to eat at a buffet here, stagger away from the table, make my way home. And, fall asleep with food coma. Take good care of yourself and Harlequin. Your photo at the end with the stable is just beautiful. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I have been plodding along with my full coverage piece Early Snowfall, it’s going to take me another 3 - 4 years to complete but as you know I work on many projects each month. I am stitching on 18 count Aida ~ I wanted a robust fabric for this one and I find 18 count is perfect for full coverage ~ unless I want really fine features on faces, and then I go for a higher count. I have a table very much like yours. The bottom part isn't split, just one piece across, but it does tilt. I'd originally thought I'd have my chart on the bottom part and my laptop above, but quickly realized that typing on my laptop that far away and over any charts would be cumbersome, so now it's my laptop table and catchall on the top!!!! But, the wheels on mine do not automatically lock, whenever I need to move it, I can. I'm sorry that yours doesn't - takes away the convenience!

I bought a print of his painting from his website and then used a computer program to create a cross stitch chart. I would give you the name of the program, but unfortunately for some reason, it is no longer available. I think there must be some others around though. Sorry I could not be of more help.
