A lot of people say Jewish people have "control" over media. This is mainly due to a lot Jewish people more being forced into taking up media as a profession. Additionally Jewish mainly worked with black artists because white produces often didnt want to work with them. Its not like a kabal or a conspiracy, its just a lot of historical factors that sorta resulted in these outcomes. Its very similar to how jewish people are stereotyped or thought to control banking. This comes from that historically Christians saw usery as a sin so jewish people sorta took up the whole profession that involved usery (the lending of money) and now its become a stereotype/conspiracy. Id recommend learning abt this stuff, its pretty interesting and good at combating incorrect ideas.

Good vid Wes, it's refreshing to hear a nuanced take amongst all the "Kanye is inciting violence against Jewish people and should be locked up" or "Kanye is right about everything, he is a genius that could do no wrong." As a fan of his music, it's a shame to see him like this. Now every time I wanna listen to one of my favorite songs, I have to think about if the people I'm with are gonna hate me for turning it on. Hopefully he gets through whatever he is getting through and we can all get on with our lives

I can see why people might be upset when you bring up their race and ethnicity when talking about these things, because your race and ethnicity shouldn't have anything to do with it.
Bringing up someone's race or ethnicity in this context does kind of imply that these traits have something to do with the situation, because if they didn't why would you be bringing them up?
Many people then defend it by acknowledging there is a correlation, but fail to realize that they're implying causation when they do so. When you say "the jews" or even "the blacks" it implicates the entire group as responsible for the situation, and can foster disdain for that group as a whole, rather than the individuals responsible.
Of course in a comedic context it's fine, comedy is based on observation, and the observation that there's a lot of jewish people in hollywood IS accurate. It's when you diverge from the realm of comedy that it gets suspect, because once again, for what reason are you bringing it up? Kanye's obviously not bringing it up to get a laugh like Dave was, and that's why the red flags are being raised.
Are there media outlets owned by Jewish people? Yes. Are there crimes being committed by black people? Yes. Are serial killers commonly white? Yes. Are there Muslim terrorists? Yes. Do these individuals represent their entire ethnicity or race or religion? Absolutely not. Calling out entire groups for the actions of some is completely wrong.
