The camera did a decent job with picture quality. I spent 2.5 years working out of Gourock and every Monday drove past the end of that runway, I can honestly say I do not miss work now retirement is here. I ride the bike all year round.
Reminds me of one night at 2am driving a car on the A38 between Exeter and Plymouth (Devon Expressway). It was raining hard and the road quite lethal. A motorcyclist went past me without a care in the world. My car was sometimes aquaplaning and yet that biker rode with real skill.
Camera did great. Don't miss my commute (across the border to England). Like you the bike doesn't go out in salt but i do still go out in winter if I'm sure theres been enough rain to wash any salt away.
@Teuchteronabike, I used to work along the same principal relying on rain to wash away the salt. Only these past couple of years my local council is spreading treated salt which doesn't dissolve. Car wheels clear positions 1 & 3 but position 2 up the middle was still gritted into May 😤
Great lights on that GS. Like yourself I have a short commute +/- 15 miles, it's the oncoming dazzle of car lights & the idiots that can't find the low beam that gets me. Used to buy old bikes to commute all year round, have a work mate that gives me a lift now in the depths of the salt season. Ride safe ✌
Super impressed with night time picture quality. Looking forward to getting my hands on a 5/Mic2 when the 6/7's are released - lol. I remeber my communting days fondly. Had a 9 month spell commuting daily from Ballieston over to Hillington on the bike.
Salted roads and the bike stays in the shed. Otherwise, it's a mix of bike, car and home working all year. I keep on riding to keep the skills sharp. Places you so much better for the spring.
My commute to "work" is down the stairs and and into the lounge. Gotta love retirement!🤣🤣 Camera did well mate. It's weird this time of year isn't it, dark on ya way in, and very soon it'll be dark on the way home from work too. Stay safe mate
Just so you know, you'd have had that Golf R on the on slip! 😉🤣👍 I'm also blessed by a short commute to my work, but adding another mile when i move,so it'll be about 3 miles each way in the future! 🤣😂🤣👍
The camera certainly coped well in the very low light, they're all improving as far as that's concerned. I've yet to try the Insta Ace Pro, it has an Ai low light setting perhaps it's the same in your 360. Numpties, Numpties everywhere they don't care about anything but saving a split second even when your approaching them in a car.
My commute is 2 miles so its a bit of a faff getting the bike out for such a short journey. I normally ride all winter when a decent day comes around but as I plan to keep this bike for a while I may take it off the road when the grit goes down, I will wait and see.
That looked great. As for the stupid things car drivers do these days.... too big a subject to cover in the comments. I'm retired now, so no commute, but then I never really did have a commute, although monthly sales meetings 150 (or more) miles drive (each way) from home were a career long PIA! I don't put the Suzuki away for the winter. If the conditions allow me to ride, I ride... but then I live in South West England where temperatures and weather conditions tend to be a little .... kinder!

Nice one bleary. Your lucky you cannpick and choose your day. I’m jealous lol.
Hi Graham the footage from your 360 is excellent in the dark. Can't believe that numpty just cut right across in front of you.
Happens all the time on a bike. Something you need to watch for if you’re out on yours.
@@haggiswhisperer Yeah definitely
Hi Graham I take my bike into work, it’s usually parked next to yours 😂😂😂 we have been quite fortunate weather wise the last few weeks.
lol you certainly do mate. Yea weather has been on our side.

I def wouldn’t do it if the weather is extreme for sure.

I wish I could retire right now lol

@ yea the salt on bikes is brutal on them
@@greywolf9292 sounds like they're using grit to augment the salt. No fun at all
Night time riding is alot of fun for sure 😊👍
Yea it’s different for sure
Great lights on that GS.

Yea it has pretty good lights. Theres always one car with full beam on for sure.

That’s a 4 I’m using so it’s probably discounted just now since the 5 is out

Yea the salt really ruins the bikes.
Those roads look sketchy mate
FairPlay
That was it on a good day lol

Ah but do you take the bike to the lounge lol. Yea it’s crap commuting this time of year.
Well the cam worked great in low light! quite impressed. Shyte weather though eh 😩
I’m surprised how well the camera worked. Typical Scottish day mate.

1 mile is ok mate
@haggiswhisperer Well 2 miles extra total...Still not worth commuting when I keep my bike there anyhow! 🤪🤣✌️
That’s true
The music kind of reminded me of Knight Rider.
I’ve used that tune a few times now. I really like it. You can get it on UA-cam studio it’s called rinse and repeat.

It’s good working close to home for sure

Jeezus 150 miles for work. I’m glad I’m only 7 away lol
