I think a weekly-ish relaxed format vlog would be a great idea, I wouldn't worry about your bike reviews sometimes being a bit later than others, your complete honest opinion is what keeps us coming back. The new microphone sounds great.
Hi Andy yes please can we have more of the same love the idea your able to do videos that are current time line and I enjoy the different aspects rather than a video on one item only . Such a quality channel and I enjoy the different content too . Also could you do a one about dealership closers which is very worrying. cheers ian
I believe there is something in the small print of the marriage vows that means you are responsible for cleaning your wife's bike, so just do it and don't complain. 😂
You’re right, it is there in the small print but we are reading it wrong. My buddy’s wife always cleans his bike meticulously for him as soon as he gets home after every run (despite only occasionally joining him on the back.) I kid you not.
'Current' is the word you're looking for! Definitely think your ideas are ideal and will grow your viewing numbers. A motorcycling magazine style of everything going on in your world and the world of bikes will be perfect 👌
Like the idea of the new format content - keeps things interesting. Doesn’t all have to be grand vistas and epic trips, some of us like the simple, informal stuff 👍
Yep, like the new ideas. As for being late to the party, I've used your reviews as the definitive opinion on bikes, even when they're a few years old when im looking to change bikes. Just watched your street triple 675 vs 765 in the last few days as im thinking of picking up an older street triple. Btw, please keep the Biker scran vids, love those.
Love the idea of a few more 'vloggy' type videos. I often feel like it's a group of mates down the pub, and reading the comments make it almost a transcription of the afternoon.
Hello Sir. I think your new ideas would make the channel more interesting , but I have always enjoyed your work. I am 77 and recently sold my Royal Enfield Classic 350 because it was a little to heavy for me to push around. I am going to purchase a Honda Click 160, a scooter and put a nice big top box on it. The lighter bike will make riding more enjoyable. I love all your new equipment. God bless you and have a great week. By the way, Mrs Flyer's Kawasaki 650 would be a perfect bike for just about anyone. It's great that you help her take care of it. Thank you for another great video! Sal : ) in Cha-am, Thailand.
Hey TMF! Bikes do love an oil change. Mine all say thank you afterwards. Just like when you wash them, they run happier. Everyone knows that. Like the new ideas! Keep it fresh dude!
Great vlog. Regarding the heated grips, I normally wire them with a relay, so the 'trigger' power is via the rear light, so that when I turn off the ignition, the grips power straight off.
Love this more impromptu and more synchronous vlog stuff! Those new mics sound really good. Maybe chuck a couple of acoustic panels up too? Absolutely excellent work, sir!
WOW! Published 1 hour ago and already 5251 Views and 224 comments! Yes the new office gear is smart and that camera does well, perhaps also try it on landscape scenic shots as well. Great to see the 650 out and about too!! Your vlogs are interesting and mixing it with bike riding, bike things, workshop views etc, they are all interesting to watch. Keep it up Andy!
Mrs Flyer is a practical queen with the topbox! Love that. And she's got the right idea - let it get filthy until you cant bear it, and wash it. She's not daft hahaha!
I like a bit of informal chat. It makes you come across as our mate in the motorcycle industry. You seem more like a normal bloke as well. Thank you as ever.
Nice one Andy. Personally I think it’s good to mix things up and keep it fresh with new ideas. If they don’t work then reevaluate. No big deal. You have a solid customer base so you can experiment with these new additions👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Loved this format, yeap this is one for me. I do look forward to this type vlog I loved the new look of the camera, will really show the bikes and thanks for the shot of you, it was great at scaring the kids trick or treating 😅
The style of today's upload was good and gives you and we viewers different and new opportunities to interact. I suggest though that you don't tie yourself down to too many specific formats/content but keep it fluid and flexible. 👍
Yes I intend too - I am only a "one man band" and even a "thrown together" video like today's requires a lot of effort (as in I've been working on that all today today and a bit of last night).....
Nice one Andy, enjoyed that mix of topics so going forward its a yes from me, a mix of subjects and footage is sure you would like to think to have something for everyone 👍
Yes I think having some more spontaneous content will be great Andy.. As you say, it'll seem more in touch so please go for it. Plus, at least I'll know the weather here in the Chilterns is more or less exactly like what I'm watching !
I've ridden this bike, we went to a Kawasaki demo event which was practically booked all day and you had to schedule a time slot. I really wanted to ride the new Ninja 650 but wasn't available for the times that were available so I chose this instead due to having the same powerplant. It's a good bike but honestly I wasn't all that impressed with it. It felt a bit more refined than my 2013 Ninja 650, the vibrations in the bars are atrocious same as mine, there seems to be a sweet spot at a certain RPM where you either have to shift up or down or it's extremely buzzy. This engine needs a serious upgrade, seems like everyone else have already made the switch to 270 twins. Kawasaki nailed the look, same as with the w800, they both look amazing but performance is a bit lackluster at best. Always look forward to your videos Andy, cheers mate!
Yes a refreshing of what you do is the way to go. Nothing wrong with current but with all the choices we have to watch the channels that refresh will flourish
Hey Andy I have been following a fair few yrs now from Australia I think its great to throw in a few different ideas and topics Its like checking in with your mate down the road once or twice a week
Greetings Andy! Enjoyed watching your latest episode and learning about your revised strategy for future content. I'll continue to follow and enjoy whatever the path. Give it a run and keep going. Cheers to you.
Glad to hear you will be riding your GS all winter. I to have a GSA and I ride all winter here in Canada on the west coast. I use a product called Hippo Hands. They do a great job of keeping the hands warm and dry. Keep up the great content!!
Isn't a good quality pair of waterproof gloves heated grips and handgaurds enough. I have seen some big mitten things that stay on the bike but it means you can't see the leavers or the switches and I wonder how easy it would be to remove hands from the bars in an emergency.
Some great new ideas their Andy, nothing wrong with freshening things up. I enjoy your content and look forward to whatever is coming up in the future, all the best as always.
I enjoy the bit's and pieces vlogs so keep them coming. I don't mind a bike review that's "delayed", I'd rather that than having a week or two when every motorcycle youtuber has their take on the same bike, often in the same place, on the same route, in the same weather. The recent RE Guerilla release was a case in point.
The high sense of order delivered in this channel appeals to me greatly. I love that it is easy to follow your tours and as a viewer I know what I’m about to watch and I like that. Some channels are all over the place and I find it hard to commit to watching a series as you never know when the next will drop. I enjoy the musings you share on your occasional vlog, but question if it will lose charm if it becomes a regular thing? That said, it’s your channel so you do you and the viewer numbers will guide you to do more (or not!). Just make sure you don’t dare try to sneak in a 5 minute video that might pay you more than any of us lot ever do! No no no… that won’t be allowed!
Hi Andy, always open to new formats and your suggestions on vlogging style vids and a weekly bike view/review sounds great. Appreciate all you do on the channel! 😀
Hi Andy. Like the format, love the idea of a current weekly catch up, exciting times coming with all the new bike shows, and I imagine, as you found out with regards to the Yamaha, manufacturers are releasing new details and info quite frequently at the moment.
I, for one, would welcome your new plan. Viewers Photos, breaking bike news and travel plans, they’re all of interest as we dive into winter up here in ski country. The “All Year Motorcyclist” has an engaging format that is similar. Good luck but don’t work too hard!
I enjoy your videos, and any format will do. I am 67 and now ride a z650rs. It is very manageable and plenty fast enough. I toured Spain and Scotland on it and it was great on twisty mountain roads.
I love the random videos , great idea Andy I'm sure we will all join you👍👍 love the 650 looks fab and what a great bike. I bet Mrs Fly will be running circles around you soon on the fab 650. Oh did the grips turn off 😂
As watched a few of these you have put out recently, I have really enjoyed them and if you put out some similar content I am sure it will be fantastic! Videos need a purpose, rather than mindless vlogging. So some of those ideas you mentioned would be a great shout!
The weekly style video sounds like a great idea, it’s like having a chat with a friend about motorcycles. I’m not sure it even needs a section style format maybe just a mix up that flows into one would be good?
Keep doing what you're doing Andy. Vlogy type random videos are fine too as I'm sure most will agree. The haters make me laugh though. They're still watching!
Agree with everything thing you said everything is improving on your channel very entertaining. Got married in 1987 and I don’t recall my darling wife ever cleaning her car or motorcycle it’s just a given we clean and inspect to make sure all is well with the vehicle
I must admit when watching your vids/vlogs I do tend to turn off when I reliese the vid were done a few months ago,I much prefer upto date ones.so this new line of thought is good with me.
It may not be in keeping in style with the bike, but a top case will always get a thumbs up from me. Mrs. Flyer has my support! Also, this format is great!
I like this Bits-n-Bobs format - definitely do more like this. Concerning your Apple CarPlay needing to have a bluetooth headset connected, if you want to have a 'fake' one in your top box it will almost certainly need to make an audio connection to your phone in order to appear like a headset. That USB dongle just looks like a bluetooth-usb adapter, not an audio device. I'm sure your AirPods would work. Could you put them in the top box connected to your phone ?
The mans right, the dongle you bought allows devices to link to a computer. In short its trying to do the same thing as your bike is, or would be if it was connected to a computer. If you put your airpods in the box, or one of those dirt cheap earpieces the reps used to drive around with thinking they were cool, then the bike will find and use that, HOWEVER i cant see how it helps to have a voice in your top box? Or im missing something??
Getting your 1st service on time can be tricky these days now there are so few dealerships left. My local shop encourages you to book your first service on the day you take delivery, but that assumes you know how many miles per week you will do. One time, I picked up a new bike on a Saturday, road to Devon to visit family and got the bike serviced on the followimg monday. Job done!
For 2025, I'm definitely going to do a monthly recap where I let people keep updated real time as a lot of my vlogs like yours are filmed in advance (no way around this for us in order to keep regular content without burning out) so I think TWITS would be great!
Thank you Katherine....burn out is a real thing....hence why I'm not committing to weekly vids like this - TWITS can be "This week in the saddle", "Two weeks in the saddle" or "Three weeks in the saddle"....clever eh!
Hi, I've got the MTO7 and had it lowered, which resulted in the bike sitting a bit upright. So I bought a replacement sidestand and had that shortened by 25mm, then swapped it over from the original. It means I still have the full-length side stand should I ever sell the bike, and the LUST bracket is removed to go back to stock height.
Great content, especially trips and bike reviews. As I was saying, would love to see a day trip on your z900 rs, beautiful bike and am curious to see how good your sw-motech handles a day trip.
Yep - good idea. Vlog type content is also good for when you can only listen (eg. driving) which is me quite a bit of the time. Great channel, I have recently found it via your review of the classic Blackbird.
I think a weekly-ish relaxed format vlog would be a great idea, I wouldn't worry about your bike reviews sometimes being a bit later than others, your complete honest opinion is what keeps us coming back. The new microphone sounds great.
Hey Andy, yes go for it. Cracking ideas there. Your fan base will watch it because it’s you and that’s why we tune in 😊
Awesome, thank you!
Agreed 👍
I agree 👍
agreed
Agreed! 👍🏼
I like the idea of more vloggy conversational type video. They don't all need to be epic masterpieces.
Fair enough!
Mrs Flyer always adds a touch of class to your adventures Andy .
Yes please, more of the same. IMHO the more variety the better. Keep up the great work.
Thanks! Will do!
Hi Andy yes please can we have more of the same love the idea your able to do videos that are current time line and I enjoy the different aspects rather than a video on one item only . Such a quality channel and I enjoy the different content too . Also could you do a one about dealership closers which is very worrying. cheers ian
I'm liking the changes and new content ideas. Will definitely stay tuned. All the best to you kind sir.
Hi Andy, yes I always enjoy your ad hock vloggy type videos, thank you for keeping us all entertained.
My pleasure!
I believe there is something in the small print of the marriage vows that means you are responsible for cleaning your wife's bike, so just do it and don't complain. 😂
Yep - it’s in my marriage contract also. The better half has never cleaned her bike……..
Mrs F has Andy worked out for sure !!!
Yup! It's true....my hubby cleans my bike and he does an excellent job 👏 😊
Always read the squinty print . . . . I think cars are also included (both interior and exterior).
Agreed - as do I....

Just watched your street triple 675 vs 765 in the last few days as im thinking of picking up an older street triple. Btw, please keep the Biker scran vids, love those.
Yes they won't be going anywhere (unless one of us croaks!)....
Love the idea of a few more 'vloggy' type videos. I often feel like it's a group of mates down the pub, and reading the comments make it almost a transcription of the afternoon.
Totally agree!
Contemporaneous vlog-style vids would be most welcome, TMF. Look forward to them.
Enjoyed the ‘thrown’ together format. Lots of different subject matter which makes for a good watch👍
Sal : ) in Cha-am, Thailand.
Great to hear from you again Sal, it’s been a while!
Certainly like the chatty vlog vids. A weekly 'Catch up' would be great. Nice and chilled out viewing without an agenda. 👍
Love this! It’s 1:30 in Washington DC and I’m watching what you did today in England. Quick turn around. 67 and sunny here my man.
Wish I was there!
In fact, thinking about it you are seeing into the future, I recorded that video at around 2 pm today!
Whatever content you produce, we are here for it because we are fans of you good sir, Godspeed!
The new ideas sound refreshing! You can only add to a really great channel. Kudos to you for understanding your audience and wanting to improve.💪👊
Hey TMF! Bikes do love an oil change. Mine all say thank you afterwards. Just like when you wash them, they run happier. Everyone knows that. Like the new ideas! Keep it fresh dude!
Brilliant content Andy. More of this please!!
Great Bruicy bonus video there Andy, gotta love a vlog, sound quality of the new mikes are amazing.👍🏻
...yes they have a nice base response don't they - don't listen too closely though, there is some noise in there....
Like the idea Andy, be good to hear your other ' bits and pieces'.
Great vlog. Regarding the heated grips, I normally wire them with a relay, so the 'trigger' power is via the rear light, so that when I turn off the ignition, the grips power straight off.
Nigel is brilliant - knows his stuff. My three boys all use him as well as myself.
Love this more impromptu and more synchronous vlog stuff! Those new mics sound really good. Maybe chuck a couple of acoustic panels up too? Absolutely excellent work, sir!
That was the plan but I stuck them on the freezer instead!
@@TheMissendenFlyer Oh yes - saw that! I suspect that will have a useful deadening effect for when filming in the garage, yes?

That green is stunning. My brother still has his Z1 from early 70’s.
I am a normal bloke! Well, I don't much like football but other than that.....
Go for it Andy, the chat is my favourite part of your blogs.
Awesome, thank you!
Always loved a Variety Pack - great idea for the Vlog and the new set-up 👌👌
Awesome, thank you!
Nice one Andy. Personally I think it’s good to mix things up and keep it fresh with new ideas. If they don’t work then reevaluate. No big deal. You have a solid customer base so you can experiment with these new additions👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That's my general approach!
Loved this format, yeap this is one for me. I do look forward to this type vlog
I loved the new look of the camera, will really show the bikes and thanks for the shot of you, it was great at scaring the kids trick or treating 😅
Sorry about that!

Nice one Andy, enjoyed that mix of topics so going forward its a yes from me, a mix of subjects and footage is sure you would like to think to have something for everyone 👍
Cool, thanks Chris..
We are with you brother!! I really enjoy all your stuff :). Cheers - Jim
I appreciate that!
You’re a brave man Mr Flyer, borrowing Mrs Flyer’s bike. Make sure it’s put back perfectly clean 😄
“What a handy addition!” - in reference to the heated grips.
Fantastic.
Glad you spotted that....I was pleased with that one
These vlog type videos are some of my favourite videos you do!
Glad you like them!
Yes I think having some more spontaneous content will be great Andy.. As you say, it'll seem more in touch so please go for it. Plus, at least I'll know the weather here in the Chilterns is more or less exactly like what I'm watching !

Personally like the idea of a weekly magazine type show - A bit like “Tuesday Night at Dobbs’”
Tuesday night at Dobbs’ sounds like a nightmare.
Yes, go for it Andy. Variety is the spice of life! 😃
Love your idea Andy. A bit of positive change is always a good thing.
Yep, Andy, we are enjoying this format. Keeps it light and natural.
Awesome, thank you!
Yeah, thrown together is great ! Love it.
Good that you are thinking of mixing it up TMF. You clearly put a lot of effort into your videos and always good to watch 👍
Thanks 👍
I enjoy the bit's and pieces vlogs so keep them coming. Yes that's why I don't "do" bike launches (one of several reasons actually)....
The high sense of order delivered in this channel appeals to me greatly. I love that it is easy to follow your tours and as a viewer I know what I’m about to watch and I like that. 🤓
It’s bike chitchat… i don’t see how you can go wrong Andy! For me it’s a deffo thumbs up 👍.
I think it’s a great idea as part of the content. Freshen things up with a bit of change. Once a week would be great .
Not sure I have time to fit it in once a week unless I let another video go...will see how it goes and how the idea is received....
Hi Andy, always open to new formats and your suggestions on vlogging style vids and a weekly bike view/review sounds great. Appreciate all you do on the channel! 😀
Awesome, thank you!
I don’t think your cleaning Mrs Flyer’s bike should even be a question… Never had any complaints about the production quality - keep them coming!
To right. Great change. Love the format. The new camera looks really great. I use one for Astro photos so it copes well with low light
Yes like the idea of a magazine type of programme and it’s great to offer something different. Look forward to it.
Good video and think your ideas for forthcoming videos are really good and will be a hit with viewers of the channel.
Glad you think so!
Great idea TMF! Looking forward to the new content. Studio set up is looking great as well!
Cheers!
Hi Andy. Like the format, love the idea of a current weekly catch up, exciting times coming with all the new bike shows, and I imagine, as you found out with regards to the Yamaha, manufacturers are releasing new details and info quite frequently at the moment.
Yes they need to slow down and let me catch up!
Hey Andy. Sounds like a great idea. looking forward to the new changes. Not that I don't enjoy what you do already !! Keep it up fella 👍
Thanks 👍
I, for one, would welcome your new plan. Viewers Photos, breaking bike news and travel plans, they’re all of interest as we dive into winter up here in ski country. The “All Year Motorcyclist” has an engaging format that is similar. Good luck but don’t work too hard!

Love this "bits and bobs" style. Not directed all your videos, but majes a nice break now and then.
Good to hear!
Great idea Andy! Enjoyed that buddy
Great to hear that from you John - means a lot - thank you sir!
I like the idea of a weekly ish blog, as you said, would be up to date information of what you're up to. Looking forward to what you have planned.
I love the random videos , great idea Andy I'm sure we will all join you👍👍 love the 650 looks fab and what a great bike. I bet Mrs Fly will be running circles around you soon on the fab 650. Oh did the grips turn off 😂
Do you know - I haven't checked yet!!
🤣🤣🤣
As watched a few of these you have put out recently, I have really enjoyed them and if you put out some similar content I am sure it will be fantastic! Videos need a purpose, rather than mindless vlogging. So some of those ideas you mentioned would be a great shout!
Tbf the quality of the picture on the new camera rig looks pretty bloody amazing ... I'm all about seeing Mr F in the best possible light xoxo
Yes that Sony and lens is impressive - pain in the arse to use though compared to the OA4.....
Hi Andy, many thanks for a current video 👍😉.... absolutely love this sort of content please keep it coming 🫂😉👍
The weekly vlog sounds like a good idea. Offhand it could be short format, like 10 min or so. Always enjoy your work--thanks and keep it up!
Yes short is the idea....
The weekly style video sounds like a great idea, it’s like having a chat with a friend about motorcycles. I’m not sure it even needs a section style format maybe just a mix up that flows into one would be good?
I enjoyed this particular iteration, carry on good Sir.
Keep doing what you're doing Andy. Vlogy type random videos are fine too as I'm sure most will agree. The haters make me laugh though. They're still watching!
Great video as usual thank you. Enjoying the Wing tour. You are inspiring
Thanks for watching!
Love the idea of vlog content to freshen things up. All the best with it 👍
Thank you....
Great ideas for the channel Mr Flyer, they provide a platform for random stuff that would be a bit out of place in the regular well polished vids 👍
Agree with everything thing you said everything is improving on your channel very entertaining. Got married in 1987 and I don’t recall my darling wife ever cleaning her car or motorcycle it’s just a given we clean and inspect to make sure all is well with the vehicle
I think you’re right….
But like mowing the lawn….
All looks good to me, variety is the spice of life as the saying goes.
Hi Andy, Love your idea for a “mix it up” regular feature. Of course, you will develop a bit of a format after a while.
13:10 Jeez! Wasn't expecting that! 👀
I must admit when watching your vids/vlogs I do tend to turn off when I reliese the vid were done a few months ago,I much prefer upto date ones.so this new line of thought is good with me.
blogs/vlogs are brilliant. I'd even listen to a podcast or two whilst im at work if you were thinking about going down that route also.
Thank you!
Love a Blue Peter style vlog, getting board just watching you tubers handlebars travelling with chat over. Great idea Andy. 👍
Thanks 👍
Like the new set up - looks and sounds good, nice job sir. I like the content you offer. Pretty darn informative I say.
Much appreciated!
It may not be in keeping in style with the bike, but a top case will always get a thumbs up from me. Mrs. Flyer has my support! Also, this format is great!

I like this Bits-n-Bobs format - definitely do more like this. That USB dongle just looks like a bluetooth-usb adapter, not an audio device. I'm sure your AirPods would work. Could you put them in the top box connected to your phone ?
Nah - the headset has to be connected to the bike not the phone....the bike is the hub.
Weekly vlog would be great - I always enjoy Freddie's "Tuesday at Dobbs" your ideas sound decent and different enough to be engaging. I'd watch it 👍🏼
Good feedback - thank you....
Getting your 1st service on time can be tricky these days now there are so few dealerships left. My local shop encourages you to book your first service on the day you take delivery, but that assumes you know how many miles per week you will do. I've never needed to get one done. Never owned a brand new bike. Bought a couple just after the first service had been completed.
Sounds like a banging plan mr fly 👍👊
Good idea!
Great content, especially trips and bike reviews.
As I was saying, would love to see a day trip on your z900 rs, beautiful bike and am curious to see how good your sw-motech handles a day trip.
Yes must do that!
Yep - good idea. Vlog type content is also good for when you can only listen (eg. driving) which is me quite a bit of the time. Great channel, I have recently found it via your review of the classic Blackbird.
Welcome along!
