That you can’t compare two different set ups, right Microsoft streaming services in the PS remote play or 100% different from each other with the streaming services through Microsoft. You don’t need a PS five to play the game you streaming onto your phone or your computer or your consul through the Internet yes you have to have an account but in order to do the remote play yeah you can probably do it across the Internet but guess what it’s worthless unless you got a police station system on the other end so you would have to be pretty dumb to compare that to when Microsoft Has way more advantage than being forced to have a PlayStation five or four player games Microsoft streams again you have to be a fool to compare him. Microsoft Xcloud could play anywhere because it's cloud gaming and it there servers.This makes it more smooth and It will not turn on your console either. U don't even need a backbone u can use your controller with your phone honestly
Thank you for making this video. I have a friend who wants to get into gaming and I watched a bunch of videos on what would be the best option. He was thinking of getting a PS4 but this would get costly. The BackBone controller and app is much cheaper for Cloud gaming such as Xbox cloud gaming, Stadia, Shadow, Nvidia and so on. I really think he would be pleased watching your video as you explain - Remote Play and Cloud Gaming. Thank thank you much!

I haven’t used remote play in a couple months but as far as I remember as long as your ps5 is on and connected to WiFi and your phone is connected to WiFi you should be able to play, it doesn’t have to be the same exact WiFi that would defeat the purpose any way
Yes you actually can play your PS5 away from home w/ remote play. I work 20 miles from home and it plays with no problem

@@trilltaz3448 Gotta make sure your ps5 is set to Rest Mode... If that's not it go to your Remote Play app, tap the settings wheel and make sure "Use Mobile Data" is turned on

@@trilltaz3448 It's gotta be in Rest Mode. Once you link the app to your console at home it'll work just about anywhere... Just make sure you put your ps5 in Rest Mode instead of powering it off

I play apex mobile halo and other game great experience and customer support when u brake your backbone you have a life time warranty. Im on my second one after 2 years of none stop play! Highly worth the $100 in my opinion

I believe you have the facts wrong, you can indeed play remotely on a different network on the ps remote app. Also you can play over cellular.
How it doesn't work on android?
Does it feel like the PlayStation Controller in hand? Because I really do not like the way it feels.
But I have bigger sized hands and I tend to fumble over the buttons anyways.
I can actually play my PS5 remotely, anywhere in the world with PS remote play💯 as long as my PlayStation is on or on standby. In fact, I use my cellular network if I want to.
I found out that just leaving it in sleep mode and I could play. Just make sure to turn it back to sleep mode when you’re done!
I heard it works on 5G better than Wi-Fi

Biggest difference ps remote play you need to own a PlayStation 4-5 and be near it enough to be on the same network as it which at that point why not just play on the console
And cloud gaming you just log in and your good to go anywhere no console even needed just an account

Xcloud does even turn your console On, You can play anywhere and you don't need a backbone just use your controller via Bluetooth it runs smoothly no problem.🤷🏾♂️
Anyone notice their phones not charging with backbone? I even tried it charging while not playing games and did t work. I am trying turning off the phone optimization for battery which I read online works. After doing that and restarting it did go up instead of just going down so I’m gonna keep an eye on it an if it goes back to going down I’m gonna exchange it
Make sure you hear the sound and see the charging icon. If you have that try a fast charger, maybe you’re burning more battery than the charger can keep up with. If that’s still not the issue maybe get your battery replaced?
Biggest problem with the backbone is that it requires a subscription in order to use all its features. The backbone app and even being able to connect to iPad and Mac requires a $50/year subscription. Meanwhile you can get the same thing with Razer Kishi V2 and it doesn't have a subscription requirement to use fully.

Kishi doesn't fully support remote play though. Gotta use third party mapping app because Sony doesn't support mobile controllers except for the Backbone.

playstation: very good quality for playing games at home with wifi on a console you own and games you own (also installed) (also ps has to be in rest mode or turned on)
xbox: good quality and play any game anywhere but you need to pay monthly

The only thing holding me back from the backbone is that it doesn't fit an iphone 13 pro max with a case on. Also, I have heard people say that it doesn't even fit if you have a glass protector on your back camera, ie. Spigen camera lens protector

playstation and xbox need to get with the times and just go cloud gaming. It where the future is. We are not gona need consoles 20 years from now. Just make subscriptions. Its gona happen anyway. The problem is people dont know what cloud gaming is. I didn't learn about google stadia till a year after it was already shutdown and beleive me i would have been all over that if i knew of its existence. Cloud gaming can give us all the experience we ever wanted. Everything is on the go now a days so why shouldn't your games be on the go.
