4K is amazing! Great videos! I caught up and watch the ones you have. Sub pre 1K. Like the English and talking about your experiences and the cost. 1 think that would be nice is telling the name of the random markets or stands on the screen, but appreciate the baht to USD conversion.

If you like your own company and are independently capable Go for it! I love travelling alone! USA 3 months all over alone first trip to USA and met so many great people even people that in their own cars took me to Malibu from where I was staying in West Hollywood. In San Fran I stayed in Union Square met a guy that drove me accross Golden Gate Bridge and Bay Bridge to Alameda shouted him lunch at a great Mexican restaurant as a thank you. Ppl think Golden Gate Bridge is near the city area Um 😶 NO! It’s far away from it. And I’m grateful for that man. I met all great people out clubbing bar hopping. It was fun and a never felt unsafe. There are nice people out there that are very friendly and hospitable. As always as I do and ppl should: Go with your gut! I Never Ever felt lonely. I live alone and love it. Doesn’t mean I’m lonely. I look forward to travelling alone again and again! Solo is the Go! You are right Be Social! Ppl don’t bite! There are lovely ppl in Thailand. I did Phi Phi Phuket and Bangkok. Just be aware of surroundings be street smart and alone solo travelling is fun. Go for it! Hi from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤

Thanks for the comment! Solo travel unlocks a whole new perspective on travel. Your USA trip sounds like a good time, I hope to get out there for a road trip one day! In my experience people are almost always welcoming if you’re respectful and like you say, if something feels off, it probably is

    Agree 100%
Especially these days when young folks' main aim seems to be to upload silly videos ..." look at my gang going crazy in a foreign land" just to get more hits on their channel.
    It's really sad.

Not so sure about this. Went to Pattaya for 3 weeks in June and it was bloody hot! Biggest thing I missed was 'conversation' as very little English is spoken and talking to random ex-pats is not advised. In the bars it was the usual 'where you from' etc and at the end I was desperate to talk to anyone! OK I'm 60 but it very seemed very 'clicky' everywhere unlike the US and Oz.

I understand why it might feel like that. I guess it's a skill, I've travelled mostly on my own and it's helped me be more social and interact with people which is how I've met many friends or locals over the years. Maybe it's different in your age range, I'm not sure but I don't know who's advised you not to speak to random ex-pats/ tourists, that's exactly how to meet people. I've met some top people in their 50's 60's 70's and even 80's when travelling solo. Have an open mind, say hello to everyone, be polite and who knows, you might make some good friends and memories from the most simple of interactions 👍🏻. Appreciate your comment!
