I agree with you so much. Apple perfected the 13 lineup great battery life too and all the phones after the 13 seemed to not get as good except for the 16 battery. colors were so fun and unique with that year too. I loved the Sierra blue and alpine green that year

The XR colours & 16 colours are amazing, I hope they keep the bold colours around. I would argue coral is more orange than red & call it iPhones only orange phone. I think you should’ve counted how many different models of phones had each colour (product red, dark pink, light pink, orange, yellow, dark green, medium green, light green / lime, dark blue, medium blue, light blue, dark purple, light purple, black, grey / silver, whites, golds, rose golds, etc). Would like to see a similar video on other Apple product colours.
Rose Gold is by far my favorite. Held onto my 7 for the longest time until it was unfortunately time to upgrade. When Desert Titanium released I upgraded as it was so close to Rose Gold, it has more of a pink hue. I always said that I will upgrade again, even if it’s the 17 Pro if it gets a Rose Gold!!! To further prove my rose gold addiction, I upgraded to the Series 10 for the Rose Gold, my AMEX card is Rose Gold, most every other thing I have is ROSE GOLD. I’ll be super excited if they dropped a Rose Titanium!
I wish apple would add more colors to the pros. A LOTTTT of people downgraded from pros to regular 16 just because of the hot pink. I had the purple 14 pro I was excited because in the ads it looked like a really deep purple egg plant color. But in person it was so dull and dark you could only see the purple on an angle. I hope they do a mid release i16pro in a hot pink color just to test it out. I think people want to have more personality shine through these days since everything is black white beige and gray. It sucks that’s the only colors available on the pros. They also need to switch up the design of the iPhone. It’s getting stale. This is just my opinion and based off of what I have seen and what I want to see.

I guess we've gotten close, maybe the coral XR, or maybe you could consider gold an "orangey shade", but there has never been a definitive orange option. They've done every other basic primary and secondary color except orange. I think that would make it the rarest color, considering it's effectively the only one they haven't done yet

For the purple iPhone 12, its actually a tribute to the late co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, as during this time(2021), it marked the 10th year of Steve Jobs' death(2011). The purple color is his favorite colour. Just wanted to share this so people knows, hope that's something new you learned today. 😉 To me I think this makes the purple iPhone 12 so precious.
Imo the rarest iPhone color is the silver/black combo on the first gen since we haven’t seen anything like that at all since and some shade of green has been made on more than just 5C
