The fact that Brad Dourif’s own Daughter plays Nica is amazing. She did so well in capturing/insinuating his character at the end of Cult of Chucky. I can’t wait to see more delivered from her!

I think my fave part is the end w/Chucky's possession of Nika. I know she grew up with her dad playing the role but she nailed it, right down to how he talked. it was amaze balls. And kind of a mind screw too.

I thought that for a while but then I thought about barbie dolls and how throughout the years their looks have changed pretty drastically and it makes sense to me with the amount of times chucky has had to be "remade" into a different doll that he would look different over time.

Since there are a few Chucky's out there, each having his own personalities. What if there was one Chucky that was good? Like team up with Andy and help kill all the other Chucky's! And its Charles Lee Ray's good side. I know sounds weird, but it could happen!
Since they pulled a Kakine Teitoku with him, it is the only way to get him. Personaly i think the whole franchise has gone downhill and it will end up with a good guy face replacing the sky, but whatever.

I don't know why it took me so long to realize the reason Chucky looks different now is because he's literally a different doll. That always bothered me because I thought they just changed him/his look for the hell of it. I assume the doll looks vastly different from the original to mimic how older toys in real life are often changed and "updated" to look more modern.
I think governmentscheisse means the new dolls that get possessed by Chucky at the asylum look vastly different than the dolls made in the 80s.

Jinx Cat. the last conversation between Chucky (in Nica's body) and Tiff, lead me to believe that they bkth killed their children (or at least Glen, because he was the softie one). Why? because Tiffany says that she actually missed the little girl that was left in Nica's family (I don't remember her name). And Chucky says that he have zero fucks to her ("nah, fuck that kid" or something like that), and then he burst of laughting. I noticed a strange look in Tiffany's face; like she was uncomfortable with Chucky's comment, but then she starts laughting too.
Seed of Chucky was a bad movie, but still canon to the story in general, since they still make some easter eggs or refferences of that film. So I think that Chucky killed both of his kids, and convinced Tiff to agree with it.
I want them to continue making this movie :(

i’m curious to see your reaction to season 1 of the chucky series! i actually liked it more than i thought it was and it made me like the cult movie more than i originally had because i was just so confused after it and thought it was kind of a joke. i’ll need to binge the movies again sometime before season 2 comes out
Where is this series Ava and what's the name?
I enjoyed Curse slightly more, but Cult does set this franchise in a very interesting direction, and It's incredibly ludicrous how relevant this franchise can still be. Fiona was terrific, Jennifer is a doll, as always. Brad with his one liners, pretty sweet kills and multiple Chucky dolls?! Minimal CG?! It's great fun.
I just wish Andy had a bit more of an impact with those scenes.

Nica is played by Fiona Dourif. She is the daughter of Brad Dourif, who has played Chucky (and the killer Charles Lee Ray) in all seven original Chucky films.
Tiffany says Chucky once told her that "a true classic never goes out of style." This is a reference to the death of Chief Kincaid from Bride of Chucky (1998).
The second film in the series to be released directly to home video, following Curse of Chucky (2013).
Chucky kills Claire by launching a compressed oxygen tank through a skylight, which is similar to a scene in Bride of Chucky (1998) where Tiffany throws a champagne bottle at a glass ceiling.
When Andy opens the safe containing Chucky's head his Kent uniform from Child's Play 3 can be seen on the door.
Second film in which Chucky wins, as he and Tiffany both literally and figuratively get away with murder at the end of the film.
When Nica meets Tiffany, she comments that Tiffany looks like Jennifer Tilly. Not only is Tiffany played by Jennifer Tilly in the film, but following the events of Seed of Chucky (2004), Tiffany is inhabiting Jennifer Tilly's body in the Chucky universe.
Although Fiona Dourif and Alex Vincent are the same age, Fiona's character is six years younger than Alex's, having been born around the time of the beginning of Child's Play (1988).
Carlos is based on a friend of Don Mancini's, who is also a gay Latino nurse.

James Earle Jones is a lot older than Brad and he still does the voice of Darth Vader. It all depends how long he has left to live. He was eating a big hearty salad at a convention so he probably has a good bit of life still in him.
Fiona won't ever be the new Chucky. Also you can;t just replace the icon that made the Chucky movies what they are. Brad's gonna keep at it and when he eventually passes, they'll either finally end the series or they'll find a replacement voice actor. Hope it's not the latter.

The Tiffany doll isn't Glen or Glenda. The new spell allows Chucky's spirit to be in multiple bodies, so Tiff used it too and put her soul back in the Tiffany doll, so human Tiffany and the doll are both Tiffany just like all the Chucky dolls are Chucky.

Well, I'm guessing after Glen killed Chucky in the hospital, Tiffany collected the doll parts and kept them - probably also used the amulet to resurrect him again. In Curse of Chucky, she is the one who sent the original reconstructed doll to Nica. Glen also looked back at his mother during the party after he opened the box she gave to him.
In Tiff's cameos during Curse of Chucky & Cult of Chucky, it is made clear she still has remained loyal to him and was assisting him in his new murder sprees, lol. Even if he did try to kill her for trying to leave him before. Their whole dispute in Seed of Chucky near the end was that she wanted to become Jennifer Tilly, a human again, while Chucky wanted to remain a doll. The ending to this new movie obviously changed things up now that he successfully acquired a human body too.
Glen never killed Chucky because he never killed his heart, so Chucky kept living, which is how he choked Glen at the end.

Love seeing someone who enjoyed the movie as much as I did and actually taking it serious! Haha many people shrugged this movie off as a joke or shit but I honestly enjoyed it thoroughly . Been a huge fan of Chucky for years and I can’t wait to see what they do with this next film! I love that they brought back a lot of old characters.

I think Annabelle and Chucky wouldn’t fight but join up, but if they did, Annabelle I think because she teleports and a demon, Chucky wouldn’t know what to do, but however if he used the ‘cult’ curse he could win but, she could take over his body and become the ultimate killer..
Chucky would just banish the demon through voodoo... Or imprison it. There is room for such things in Voodoo magic and she wouldn't be anything too surprising. Annabelle is a cheap trick compared to Chucky.
The reason chucky unlike annabel is so good at killing is because hes an serial killer, way before he turned into a doll. So ngl he'd have the advantage

@ KshMcKenzie08 - I do not know about that. The difference is that Chucky is a soul possessing the doll. The Anabelle demon was using the doll as a conduit, not possessing it. If you read up on things, demons can literally trump a human soul not backed up by God. Then again I think they both would hit it off and create on demented cult of their own.
@ cchdz - The Anabelle is not possessed by a demon. The priest at the end said dolls can not be possessed by demons. They can only use them as conduits, a base of operations to speak.

The reason why I picked him was because I'm a fan of Child's Play. Not saying that Annabelle isn't great because she is, but I'm leaning more towards Chunky you may be right though they'll probably end up working together. I was terrifying of this guy when I was younger, my cousins including my younger cousin who was 4 at the time loved Chucky, I missed out on so many horror movies, but when I watched Cult of Chucky back in 2017 I loved it alone so I went back and studied for doll. Now I know so much about him and now my younger fear doesn't exist. At least now I can sleep without fearing a doll coming to stab me or pull my eyes out or something
