Anton in regards to Boeing and who is responsible. Think of it like this if an axle is bad with a crack its on the manufacturer, but if the axle cracked over extended usage and did not get caught during routine maintenance that then is on the owner. In this case it might've been bad maintenance because they will check to see how many other planes had this same exact issue.
