I just made this cake today, everything turned out beautifully and very tasty. I usually use the baking spray but not this time and it turned out beautiful like golden brown, not that darker brown. I normally get in my pound cake. Thank you 😊

This is the old time 1,2,3,4 Cake. It's a nice enough cake, but doesn't even come close to a true Pound Cake.
We love making this butter cake recipe as our birthday cake and we use the Cinnamon Toast Crunch frosting that our children loves and of course we add sprinkles all over!!! Thank you for this recipe❤

Just made it. I have quite a low threshold for sweetness, so I added 300 g instead of 400 of sugar, plus only a little bit of butter-sugar soak, and it was at the upper sugar limit for me, but it was DELICIOUS. I also added about 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds, gives a nice texture and a little bit of additional flavor

This is a great recipe and I've been using one much like this for a long time. One thing that I do add to mine is a little mace--a little makes a big difference in the depth of the flavor.
