The best overall firearms manufacturer in the world. There is no debate. Beretta and FN are the only other companies that make the different platforms and innovate as well as the reliability and history. You look at companies like SIG that have had 3 recalls in the last 5 years and used to be good or Colt who refuse to innovate and are in decline and used to be the premier rifle maker in the USA and have been passed by with companies like LMT, Knights Armament and Daniel Defense. Glock while they make the best value for money pistol unfortunately that’s all they are, a pistol manufacturer and are not in the same league as HK. For me my list is: 1) HK 2) Beretta 3) FN All the rest do one thing well if that. Where the other 3 make everything well and without problems and recalls.
I would argue that SIG is the only company making real leaps in terms of innovation from those you mentioned. The firearms community today is so unforgiving of problems that most companies are afraid to innovate at all so I’m glad they’re putting out new products even if there are bound to be teething issues.
I think the MARK 23 is still made in Germany with the USP's. The HK45's are made here in the states. Some are made overseas. But the HK45, MR556, MR762, HK416, HK417, and I think some of the parts on the MP7 are made here so they can be issued to US service members as per contract requirements.
@@navyman8903 in a previous video you explained that the frame stamp icon and the date code/stag symbol were only on the German guns and not the us made guns. .mk23’s USPs have been appearing on gb with this items missing.
Once you do I’d like to hear your or someone else’s between the German or US made opinion because I’d like to get the best version for the money. U.S. versions can be found 1999 where as German old stock I can’t find for less than 2300. But is that “zegermans” collector fanboy hype or for a real reason.
I wanted to buy another pistol because I was getting bored of my 92A1 (very very underrated pistol-has never failed me)... I literally researched for 6 months doing hundreds of hours talking to reps.. talking to gun store owners..gunsmiths... reading forums.. talking to guys at the range etc etc... what I found was that in as much as I hate Glock fanbois and their stupid little Glock cult, I came to the conclusion though unbias facts and research that Glock stands WAY WAY above in the total whole of things when it comes to reliability, customization, and lack of headaches... you would not believe how many 'Cadillac' companies out there (HK SIG etc etc) have QC issues with their pistols where Glock does not (by in large compared to others)........ there are issues with Glock, but for 1 source I obtained, I obtained 5 sources of any other brand/make (was looking hard at a 226 but NOPE.. unless I found a GERMAN made earlier one)...... I bought a glock 31 (mainly for CCW) it doesn't shoot that hard (it's not that different from a hot 9) and its 15 rounds of basically a 357 magnum which is king of the streets (even above the coveted 45) Glock really is the way to go (sad to say) Oh, and I can change my 357 to 9 with very little effort for SHTF ... .already bought the parts.. OH EDIT.. 357 Sig shoots FLAT for 100 meters :) EDIT AGAIN :) oh yes.. I have an aftermarket trigger in mine.. 4# flat face... it makes the Glock complete.. I hate the stock triggers in Glocks, that is their only weakness I think (did sights too but that is for any standard non-special editions guns right off the bat)
Beretta's 92 series is always a go to for sure. The Glocks have had mixed experiences especially with the Gen 4. They're really good for what they are and have carved out a place for sure. But the Gen 4s have had firing pin issues, extractor and ejector issues. The Gen 5.5s have really cleaned it up though. I'm happy with the Gen 5.5s I have. I feel like they've hit their groove.

Excellent choice.
I love my HK45 ACP and VP9! :)
Both solid choices.
For me my list is:
1) HK
2) Beretta
3) FN
All the rest do one thing well if that.
Thank you for NOT saying "H and K" or "Heckler and Coke".
Also a pet peeve of mine for no reason at all. Well, probably from everyone messing it up. But happy to help where I can.
Buy us made mk.23 or pay more for German made???? I had no idea they moved production here until your usp video.
@@Runningmancs Oh wow. I'll have to dive into that more. HK USA must be picking up shipping delay slack.
Once you do I’d like to hear your or someone else’s between the German or US made opinion because I’d like to get the best version for the money. U.S. versions can be found 1999 where as German old stock I can’t find for less than 2300. But is that “zegermans” collector fanboy hype or for a real reason.
@@Runningmancs they’ve moved the stag horn to the bottom of the trigger guard.
GOOD GOD MAN!!!! 4:00 of B-roll!!!!
Had to do it big, but I did get a time code in there. But it is long.
@@navyman8903 go big or go home as they say!!!!
Well done!
Sounds like the uligy I will say at the funeral for a broken HK but it will never get said because they don't break
I've had excellent luck with mine. It's definitely a testament to their quality and manufacturing.
Agree 100% HK err day!
@@navyman8903 mine is Gen 3
4 and a half minutes to get into it. Unwatchable.
Agreed.
BFG Division was a damn good choice
Thanks man. It just hits right.
GLORIOUS
Thanks man, I put some work in on this one.
didn't realize you went to salt water lmfao, I've probably walked past you many times.
Probably. If you see me say what's up.
The only disappointment I’ve ever had from HK was my MR762a1. It was such a fucking unreliable turd.
tru
11:04 I screamed 🤣
Glad someone appreciated it.
VP9 owners haha that is funny shit....looks about right too
A lot of them really act up from time to time.
Awesome content!
Thanks.
Vincent is wasted
Yes.
Lol the types of hk owners was funny
Thanks man. Just wanted to keep it light hearted where I could.
Guns shoot bullets. Nice.
