    From the looks of the performance of this video, my fears that put us on hiatus were correct. Just as I predicted, UA-cam has basically buried us in algorithm hell where we are not recommended (I'm assuming due to the firearm content) to any viewers despite their history of interest in similar gun related content or even subscriber status.
    I've heard the rumors circulating around the guntuber community regarding this issue and now I'm seeing it first hand. Policy that suppresses 2A support and firearm related content isn't necessary if it is simply surreptitiously censored right from the source.
    These actions are a serious threat to this channels future. So far this video has many times LESS the views as usual (only 113 in 48 hours) and many subscriber friends say it was never even put in their subscriber content!
    If this is reaching you and you like this channels content please subscribe, turn on notifications, like the videos, and share with like minded friends.....that might be all it takes to turn it around.
    Be well, stay safe, and thanks for tuning in!

    My Fed LEO duty gun was an H&K 40 USPC. I own a personal copy. As my carry gun. And also own the 45 USPC. Both with a LEM trigger. Basically identical guns except for caliber. The .40 can be snappy, and harder to keep on target. The LEM trigger gives you a lighter trigger pull, and a shorter reset. Making it easier to stay on target and make faster follow up shots. Personally, I prefer the LEM trigger. But, that is also what I have trained with the most. Either way you cannot beat H&K weapons. While expensive, also very dependable and well made guns.

    SFOD-D is Delta Force. This is a pistol I never have considered, but now I'm interested. I have Glock 30, and I like it. The downside is that it is pretty thick, and you do notice the weight with the 230 grain as it has 10 + 1 rounds. The HK looks like it would be a more comfortable carry gun. One of these might be in my future.

      Yes, the HK45 feels closer to most 9mm options in the size and weight category.

      I recommend Liberty +P Civil Defense rds. Very lightweight. It is a large-ish compact. If you want smaller, you could go P2000sk, but is a little older model.

      Thick girl for sure. I had a G30sf that I loved. It had more of a push back recoil vs a snappy recoil if that makes sense. It was just a bit much carrying all day. Its extremely thick and heavy (pause).

    Welcome back! If you could, I would love to see more revolver content. Any S&W will do, like you have done before, from the 586/686 to the j-frames would be sweet.

    Welcome back. Good choice. I've been looking at the HK P30 for some time, which is the 9mm version of this gun. Is this a V1?

      Still looking? Trust me its an awesome gun. Mines a V3, came with three 17+1 mags and NS. Outstanding ergos! And with the GG trigger and short reset kit, its a formidable pistol.

    Hammer vs. Striker? What's your preference?

    • @MilsurpGarage
      @MilsurpGarage  7 місяців тому

      Both have plus and minus points. I like the ability to hold the hammer down while holstering to ensure a safe holster entry but Glocks still remain my favorite.

    Is there a burr on the firing pin? Probably not but who knows

    • @MilsurpGarage
      @MilsurpGarage  6 місяців тому

      Good thinking but it’s definitely two hits. The main hit and a light hit. Looks like the light hit is last so the firing pin might bounce or hit again as the slide operates…..seen it before too, just can’t remember where.
      Sometimes the firing pen has enough inertia to contact the primer when the slide closes and chambers around…..so maybe the light mark is being made first…..
      I’d have to chamber a live round and have a look…….

    Damn looks like pain in the ass to shoot , looks like a lot of recoil compared to my sig p220 carry

    • @MilsurpGarage
      @MilsurpGarage  4 місяці тому

      Well, iit is a compact model, but recoil would probably be more dependent on the type of ammo. I use some pretty hot stuff.

      I have a P220 legion, this firearm shoots great. You will get used to the recoil. It tends to get back on target fast.

      His grip is very low on the gun, almost like the teacup method. Better grip and this gun doesn't recoil near as bad as this video shows.
