Modeling in Maya is nonsense.
Let me guess - you are a Blender user and you think Blender is much better for modeling then Maya but you have never actually used Maya :D
@@tlilmiztli Anything is better than Maya for modeling. Maya users model in Maya because that's the only program they know.
@@JohnSmith-wg3pl Funny - I moved to Maya recently after decade of using Blender. Listening weekly Pablos videos, looking at how it never gets polished, how it never got native retopo tools (I know, buy Retopoflow - am I right? :D), how its UVs aged (I know - get ZenUV! Plugins, plugins, plugins... Because vanilla Blender sucks), watching how it desperately tries to become Maya, Houdini now with its geometry nodes, how it failed to even get close to ZBrush - and now, when Dobarro left...
I was there man, all the time since 2.5 and Cycles. Cycles that is now being re-written with more promises that will be abandoned as soon as they find some new, revolutionary thing to do... Blender with its half baked tools - namely extrude manifold or polybuild. Both could be marvelous but they never polish stuff, loosing focus, jumping on the new toy...
If you knew about Maya as much as I know about Blender you would know how wrong you are. But most Blender users never tries other software. They just polute internet with comments like yours ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
