    Magician reacts to Takumi Takahashi perform close-up card magic tricks on Asia's Got Talent 2019. This video shows the reaction of a magician so you can see how someone in this field thinks about it! This is season 3 of AXN Asia's Got Talent, and this Japanese magician is performing sleight of hand techniques created by Lennart Green. He dresses as a mafia magician, and his close-up magic tricks are extremely amazing. David Foster also joins him on stage during this card magic routine. How does he compare with Shin Lim in your mind?

      Ihsibanah Kaito He’s Lennart’s student??? And Lennert said he surpassed him? I’ve heard of Takumi before just bc he was on Shin Lim’s Instagram. So I’ve checked his Instagram and also know he’s a boss with coins too. That laser deal and lateral palm he’s doing is PERFECT! It’d be nice to have Lennart Green be your magic teacher though 🤔

    I think if he played a game in his performance rather than explained what he was going to do, utilizing the same tricks, it would have caught everyone by surprise a lot more. I think a good comparison to this is Richard Turner where he also has a similar performance, but his mystery is more along the fact that this dude is blind and can still hustle you with pure skill.
    Overall great performance and I'd definitely pay to see this guy's show.

      Hey that's so great you did you first trick! It can be a very fun hobby. (the only downside is you spend a lot of your time alone practicing.) Anyway, congrats on that! And yeah generally speaking magicians all start off by messing up a lot and learning what NOT to do. How to avoid certain situations by trial and error. BTW which trick was it?

    • @amonronin8759
      @amonronin8759 5 років тому

      I’m really not sure what it’s called but it looked really cool and easy when I saw how to do it....when I learned how to do it the guy on you tube said it was a “fair” trick and not hard to do so I tried it it out....I had to have 2 new decks and I opened one and told my son to give it a real quick shuffle and then a cut with out me ever touching them except to put them back in the box.i told him to take the card where he cut it and look at it and keep it.i put the cards back in the box and took the other deck and picked the exact card out of the new deck that matched his card out of the first deck...do you know the one I mean? Anyway he was floored by it and so was everyone I did it to today and yesterday....thanks for getting me started on this hobby man you don’t know what it means to me.without going into my past to much I will say I’m a recovering opiate addict and doin this has saved me from slipping back into the hell im digging out of because it keeps me focused...any way Jason you the man and keep putting up good vids for us.iv just about watched every thing that you have put up can you suggest any other good channels?

    another great reaction video. IMO I think Takumi is more smooth than Lennart (comparing this to Lennart's Ted performance) but Lennart's got more personality / comedy. I took this act as a homage to Lennart since it mirrors Lennart so closely. As technically brilliant as Takumi may be, I feel to break in to main stream he needs more personality. He needs to pull on the heart strings, it should be more emotional / dramatic, like Shin Lim. Shin posted a video with Takumi in past. I believe Shin sells this act for Takumi on Shin's website, it's call "A STUDY ON LENNART GREEN".
