Fun video, I am currently rereading this book; one note abbé is the man's title, it's the equivalent of Abbott. Faria is a cleric of sorts and even adopts Dantès as a son to inherit his wealth as Faria has produced no children on account of his vows of celibacy. I absolutely love this book and abbé Faria is definitely one of the most memorable and inspiring characters.
