The 757 and 777 are the only commercial aircraft that push you back into your seat when taking off.
I have felt this somewhat on the A321neo too with GTF engines before
Not quite, there are others.
I know it's largely subjective, but 757's always felt like they took off when they were halfway down the runway. Other planes felt like they took every last inch and barely cleared the trees.
You’ve obviously never flown in a 717 then.
@@aviationfascination
You're right. I'm probably missing a few aircraft I've yet to fly on
Gotta love when they throttle down and flatten out the climb when passing over Newport Beach for noise abatement. John Wayne who lived in NB really hated the airport and wanted it closed for large commercial jets. Ironic that SNA was named after him.
Right! I love that Delta flies a 757 to SNA it's so much more fun than a 737 😂
Love SNA. The first few times flying out of there I got a little nervous when they pulled back on the throttle after takeoff.
There's nothing more fun than taking off in a 757 from Orange County, CA.
You sure that’s not a Boeing 757-200?
Why would he lie
@@Awesomeaviation307 it’s called clickbait
Agreed. A 757-300 is suspect to have at SNA, because of the short rwy., and noise abatement procedures.
🤷🏻♀️
@@Tyleraviator99Great point. He fooled us all…….
Incredible.
That was a great view 🌎
Thanks!
What seat were you in and where was this flight going to?
Ahh yes the imfamous taxiway charlie lol
What is that jet doing there.
If that's really a -300, it's half the length of the runway!
😂😂
cmon now, how do u mistake a 200 with a 300? The 300 is drastically longer and painfully obvious in length when you look at it.
bruh how do u tell from this view
757❤
Tail number?
Delta only flies -200s out of SNA
Delta only has -200s. United is the only US carrier that still has -300s
@@UnbeatenPath1 Delta still has 16 -300’s. I flew on one a couple weeks ago.
@@steveoflyz And Delta has the only P&W powered 300's, the rest are RR...
757-300? To atl?
Yes to ATL
This is definitely NOT a 757-300. Delta does not schedule the -300 in or out of Orange County.
Should have built a real airport at El Toro.
But that wouldn't be as fun 😂
this is a -200 not a -300
Hmmm, are you sure?
@@jmanflys yes I’m 1000% sure
@@Tyleraviator99bro you are just a random viewer how would you know
@@Awesomeaviation307 oh I don’t know. It’s not like I’ve done my private, instrument, and commercial pilot training out of SNA. and it’s not like it’s my home airport or anything. Or it’s not like at all my most frequent route was SNA-ATL. (All of it is sarcasm if u r too dumb to figure it out and those are all true)
@@ABIAviation yes I do. A 757-300 can NOT take off from there due to the short runway…
they should have kept improving 757 for a few more years instead of trying to keep a 60s era design 737 alive by doing literal design gymnastics, most of Boeing's problems now would have been non-issue if they kept 757, at least as an option.
But Southwest didn't want the 757, they kept the 737 alive and did not want additional training.
@@jmanflys sure, but boeing should call their bluff instead of risking Boeing's own reputation, SW is a large customer and naturally have pull over Boeing but Boeing literally supplies the only type of aircraft SW uses, and sooner or later, SW needs to onboard new planes, so Boeing has influence too, what could SW realistically do if Boeing just told them "dude I love you and this comes from your best friend, you need to move on fro 737"? buy A320? influence is never just one way street.
I am in love with the 757 and she’s about to die
Me too! It's so sad! I really need to fly them more before they are gone forever 😥
