I recommend telling someone a small win, losing 10kg in weight for example and watching their eyes for genuine joy for you. This is how I found out my own mother, is my biggest hater. And 2) It adds to the mystery of you, leaving secret haters/envious people alone to speculate. Men who secretly hate women do anything sly to bring a successful, confident and fruitful woman down. Men who hate women, actively seek out women who are doing better then them and bring that woman down to "humble" that woman. They get kicks out of caging a free, beautiful bird. So, by not telling people everything about you, keeps you safe from evil people like this. Look at why billionaires dress so poor like and hide their wealth. I agree with you sis. Its almost like she wants me to be ok but not better then her. How do I know this? I was dating a man eho spoiled me, treated me well and was considerate and her claws really came out. Sadly, the long distance got in the way of the relationship building, plus, he wanted me to move to his hometown where I would have give up everything in my life to be with him. First I considered it and then God sent me a message to not give up my career as it was my purpose to protect people from harmful/life-threatening sutuations. I told the guy no, we aren't married yet and I will no live with a man who is not my husband. He ghosted me. Never heard from him again. I was sad however God intervened for a reason. My mum however was SO happy that he ghosted me saying how I was not for him, not good enough for that type of man. It hurt. I now no longer tell her about my romantic relationships. So, I started doing these 12 steps. Put up strong boundaries, talked and listened to God more, practiced self awareness and I also stopped telling my mum certain things as she gossips soooo much to anyone who will listen. I learned that my Dad is my biggest cheerleader. He told me he would hate for me to move out as he loves taking care of me however he is also proud that I will move into a home with his teachings and life lessons on building a better life then he could. I am now a proud Daddy's girl. He really loves me and is proud of me. So now, I only take advice from people who I truly know they want the best for me and they are also doing the thing I am aiming to master. Thank you for this video Karine! Life has taught me to only speak about my blessings to those that already have such. I can talk about my blessings to my husband because he's always happy for me, but most of all, he is MORE successful than me. When I wanted to start my business, he gave me the capital (it failed lol but he never wanted me to pay him back that capital and he has never bought it up, ever). God has constantly shown me that my hubby is my true best friend, God blessed me with him after all, a blessing that is confirmed everyday. My best friend and I are equal in equity and we both have serious relationships so its easier to talk to her also. But truly, you have to be so so careful...I absolutely have had haters as friends and family. I love my mum but even she has unknowingly stepped on my dreams where my husband has uplifted me.

I ridiculed her for sitting by the phone for the past 2 years waiting for Gucci to call. I also told her that when modeling agencies say, "We'll call you," it actually means the opposite; "We'll call you" is a _nice_ way of saying "We don't want you." I said the reason no modeling agency had called her to offer her a modeling contract is because (1) at 18, she's considered "old" in the modeling world and (2) she had no modeling experience - THAT'S WHY they never called her and why she will never be a model. That crushed her spirit SO BADLY, she never spoke to me (or bullied me) again 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Sometimes, people deserve to be put in their place. Break their dreams and spirit - watch how they never mess with you again!

Modeling is an incredibly competitive occupation to break into. Even among models with years of experience _still_ have to compete with hundreds/thousands of other models for a role. And your odds of getting hired are slim to none if you don't have modeling experience while your competitors have been modeling since childhood. Modeling is not a field you simply walk into, like walking into McDonald's and asking for a job. But my initial comment was about standing up for oneself. I was being bullied for weighing 150 lbs by some skinny foster kid who had such low self-esteem she could only get her rocks off by putting others down to make herself feel better. But that's the foster system for you - a bunch of unwanted, troubled kids.
This is sad but true. My ex husband use to cut me down literally for nothing…like asking was he finished his drink so I could pick it up. One day I humbled him. It’s a lot women don’t say to men to not fracture their ego. Let me tell you he never said a bad word to me after. The fact that I never pointed out his shortcomings made him think he had none. Now the person I am hated to hurt him even though he hurt me but it was necessary. And this was after years of taking his crap I finally broke.
