Thank you! I was following a pattern that didn’t explain this well. the visual helped me finish my baby blanket.
You're welcome! Happy to help 💙
Thank you for this tutorial! I just made my first blanket with all double crochet stitches and some rows of popcorn stitches throughout. Those are the only stitches I know right now, and I had no idea how to make a border. I also did not know how to do an invisible join, so thanks for showing that too.
You're welcome, Debra. Congrats on finishing your first blanket! That's a huge accomplishment. Popcorns are a good stitch to know, they add so much texture and character!
Which of your projects need an easy double crochet border?
can this be done in a single stitch crochet? i have a double crochet blanket but the edges have holes because i think i chained one too many (i decided to roll with it) but i want to make my boarder tighter to the edge and my tension isn’t the best on my double crochet (proven by the blanket lol)
On a throw blanket
Great idea! The border would be so good for a blanket.
I am very sorry to say it,but this was the most annoying crochet technique I've ever seen in my life
