This castle got me to buy LEGO after 25 years, its phenomenal that LEGO made something like this, its a great merge of classic appeal with modern design and inclusion of town with action adventure. In terms of beauty, size, theme appeal, fun for all ages and sexes, mini selection, in LEGO's greatest set ever made. I made a few changes to mine such as an upgraded ramp to the draw bridge, I moved the jail cells into the catacombs and turned the lower area into more of a knights barracks, I increased the height of the maticulations and raised the bell tower up some. I would like to do more such as a great Door mod I have seen, and put a roof over one of the towers. Someday it would be nice to get a second one and make a giant court yard and tower/ throne room in between the 2 sections.
Good review, and rumors are we are getting a medieval market set, as well as the wizard Majisto's house. That last one better come with dragon knights. I had some sets of them as a kid. As well as a lot of Black Falcon knights. I had the black falcon fortress, the wall with a battering ram, the smith shop, and the armorer set. Which made for a pretty impressive city. I also have the first hideout and the cave of the forrestmen. Later I had the dragon knights' fortress as well as the Wolves hideout. So my castle experience spans from mid 80s to 90s. I really love getting these sets. If only they did the Falcon Fortress. That would sell like hot cakes.

I think it'd be better if they make less, bigger rooms to scale with the minifigures. It now looks like Gandalf in Bilbo's room.
