  • Got stubborn brake dust? Remove it like a pro by following along with today's video. Thick clinging foam produced by Diablo Wheel Cleaner encapsulates and guide abrasive particles of brake dust and filth that can scratch the wheel finish. Lift tough, stuck-on brake dust with DeCon Iron Remover which utilizes specialty cleaners that react with brake material to restore shine. A clean bare tire looks better and promotes a long lasting bond with your favorite dressing. Simply spray it directly onto the surface and agitate to scrub away old dressings and grime with ease. Follow up with Galactic Black Wet Look Tire Dressing to give your wheels a deep gloss that resists harsh elements and washes for weeks. Galactic Black can even be applied in multiple layers for an even deeper level of shine.

    Should have rinsed off the iron decon before hitting it with a brush.
    Also shooting water back in the bucket after all the dirt/debris have settled at the bottom only re-circulates all that material that settled at the bottom back into all the water in the bucket now.
    Also, you should be hitting the brushes with the pressure wash after each scrub to knock out all the debris trapped in it, a simple dip in the bucket won't get it all off.

      Great Point. I was cringing 😬 when I saw him put the dirty brush back in the clean bucket.
      I’ve since evolved and only use brushes on tires when needed. Microfiber tools only for the wheel sections.
      From my detailing experience it’s best to either use a new bucket per wheel or per axle/side to keep the soap fresh.
      Also important to clean your wash tools before each use. That can be done with either the two bucket method or what I prefer; The one bucket one hose method.

      My thought exactly. He needs to keep the bucket clean and spray off the brushes before hitting the bucket again.

    That guy doesn't deserve the car if he can't take care of it...
    On the cleaning side of things, I've moved away from using any brushes on the wheels. The micro-scratches they leave behind will ultimately ruin the look and finish of the wheels. You wouldn't use these brushes on the paint - why use them on the wheels? Stick with good cleaning products and microfiber cloths and mitt.

    If you fill a bucket with sand and add a gallon of lubricant then scrub something with it, its still full of sand.
    When your on the left, its hard to be on the right. Shrodingers directions.

    I’m confused. So the Diablo cleaner is being used with water and diluted. When you buy it in the store it comes in a spray bottle. Can use use it straight out of the bottle and spray it on the wheel. It doesn’t foam up like this so I’m assuming I’m using it wrong.

    Those wheels are legit a nightmare to clean. Especially with the OEM brakes that give off a ridiculous amount of dust. Legit takes over an hour and a half to hit all 4 wheels properly. The 826M’s have way too much surface area for brake dust to get caught. Beautiful wheels nonetheless

    We’re you nervous using decon with not knowing the wheel finish? I know in the past you have said not to use decon on matte wheels. I personally would like to use decon on my wheels but I’m not sure if they are matte or not. Maybe do a video of different wheels to help people know what kind of wheel finish they have. Thanks

      Have you tried cleaning your wheels with heavy brake dust caked on it? Car shampoo alone doesn't quite do the trick. You need brake busters or iron removers along with agitating with a microfiber cloth or wheel brush.

  • @MrChuckwagon55
    @MrChuckwagon55 Рік тому

    I had 24 year old super baked, caked on rims that turned black. The only thing that removed it was an acid cleaner (with iron remover in it too) undiluted (your supposed to dilute it). Not good for your health, but it was a one time deal. Wheel Brightener. Gonna try this stuff now, looks good!
