I look forward to your new videos SO much after finding you! Being enveloped in your creative and peaceful world during them in is such a sweet and inspiring experience. I’ve been quilting for 40 plus years (sewing for way more). Love the music-less periods of concentration, too, as well as your musings. Love your wild and wooly garden and your ice cream literally made my mouth water just now. Thank you for these gifts. 🙏 ❤
Such a kind message Christine. Thank you so much. I've been sewing since I was very little, hemming hankies and sewing dolls' clothes. I started quilting after I was married in the 70's. I don't actually do that much of it anymore as there are so many quilts now there's no room! I did used to give some as presents, but I don't really have people to give them to now.
Such a pretty rose dish! Love that ❤ Sweetened Condensed milk is super easy to make. I made some for the first time this thanksgiving for my cherry cheese pie. Ingredients: 2 cups whole milk dairy, almond, cashew, oat, etc. 3/4 cup sugar granulated or cane, honey, or maple syrup 4 tablespoons salted butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Instructions: Whisk together milk and sweetener in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisking often, bring to a low simmer. Continue to simmer, whisking often, until milk has reduced by half, about 30 minutes. Once reduced, remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Allow to cool completely and store in a mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Notes Makes 1 1/4 cups. I have never tried the nondairy options, but the whole milk sweetened condensed milk turned out really well. Then I use 8 oz of my homemade Greek yogurt with the sweetened condensed milk, 1/3 C lemon Jc and 1 tsp vanilla to make the pie. Pour it into a Graham cracker crust and chill for an hour or more. Serve topped with a fruit pie filling. Sour cherry, blueberry or what ever you prefer. Delicious. Looking forward to trying this ice cream recipe. 😋
If you ever find the whisk insufficient the old school manual hand mixers, two beaters that look like the electric kind but with a hand crank at the top, work exceptionally well and surprisingly fast. Oh Marion you are a bad woman. That ice cream looks so yummy, and you made us watch you while you ate some 🤣 Sounds like the quilt is coming along nicely, and your garden is looking lovely. The sound of the birds in your garden is all the background music I would want to hear, watching you create and listening to your thoughts doesn't need any addition.
Oh my what a wonderful video... Thank you again for letting us into your world Marion.. I find it such a peaceful, relaxing and inspiring place. Thank you🦋
I am so excited to see how easy your way of making icecream is and what fabulous combinations of flavours you came up with! It looked so yummy! Loving your garden and your quilt is coming along a pace! 😊 Always look forward to your videos!
Hurrah! Well done for getting started again. Sometimes starting is the hardest part when a project has languished a while. That's definitely what happened to me and my quilt. I'm so pleased I'm doing it now though. Especially as it's getting more and more done.

Hi Marion, I can’t believe how much ice cream you made and so quickly….loved the flavours and yes, I’ll have to have a go at making some too. I feel quite greedy with all the inspiration you are giving freely so thank you very, very much. I look forward to sitting down and watching your videos, your garden must be a delight every morning. Good evening Marion, my mouth was watering , my grandson all said tasty is the best bite . I am so pleased I came across your utube, thank you for sharing. Kind regards Teresa xx
I love your wild garden. I live in South Illinois and there is a large Amish community next to me. I bought ten pounds of fresh green beans, a dozen corns, blueberries and a melon from them yesterday. I do have gardens but don't grow a ton of veggies anymore but I still like to can food. So I put up 15 jars of green beans today. I have been learning to crochet lace and that's what I'm doing while the canning kettle is on. Take care. Gloria.
Hi Marion, I am really enjoying your videos. I’m one those people who doesn’t wear a thimble, my middle finger gets so sore, I’ve tried with thimbles and so far they all fall off as I’m sewing so I have given up. Every once in a while I need to put a plaster over my finger it’s so sore but I can’t stop stitching, every day. I was watching you eat that yummy looking ice cream and I could taste it with you. I’m also glad you decided on no music, I love listening to your voice. I watched most of your videos from the beginning to end, but have missed a few so going back for what I missed. I also love my garden and love spending time in it as you do, I paint as well and love seeing what you do with paint and fabric. I am 75 and hope to continue watching your videos as long as God allows me to be here on this beautiful Earth. Sending love to you from Australia ❤
Hello Maria. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying my videos 👍 It's a shame you can't find a comfortable thimble... It shouldn't fall off or be too tight either... I think I'm so used to mine now because I've had ut for years and years....
Thank you again for letting us into your world, I have 6 cats usually when I start stitching one of them will want to be fussed , your garden is so beautiful, you made my mouth water with your ice cream. I keep telling my crafty friends about you videos. ❤
Another lovely video Marion. My mouth was watering when you tried your home made ice cream. I’m so pleased you are getting on well with your quilt. It’s going to look great when it’s finished, washed and on your bed.😊❤ PS. Love seeing ?Boo your cat. My Albert a lilac Burmese keeps me company when I’m crafting. 🐱
Oh Burmese are lovely! I used to have two Siamese. One was lilac point and the other a seal point. They were so beautiful and were the best of cats, but unfortunately now only live in my memories.
Thanks Marion your ice cream looks delicious. I have a small ice cream maker and must try your flavours. I always make a great lemon and lime cheesecake which everyone loves.👏♥️🇦🇺
I’m still out here cheerleading! Love everything you are doing and showing us from your world!! I’ve been quiet because I’ve had grandkids living with me so I can get them to summer camps nearby- plus I’ve been busy making a flower book cover( done) and a bird( not nearly done) !, I really enjoyed making the book - the construction of it was slick!! Now if I can get time for my daughter in law to show me how - I’ll post a picture on Instagram !!! Also a friend wanted me to make her some earrings- so I’ve made 11 pair- seed bead needle weaving- hope at least one pair will take her fancy!!! ( I want to get back to the bird!) Cheers from Indiana USA ( people here in the states sometimes aren’t sure where Indiana is!!!!!)
I saw your post Diane! Thank you for tagging me...(at least I think that's what you did). It's all new to me too. Half the time I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Beaded earrings sounds lovely. It's a while since I did any beadwork. I made a Christmas mantelpiece cloth quite a few years ago and really enjoyed it though.
Thanks so much for sharing everything about your lovely home with making ice cream, your garden is beautiful and your quilt . I’m in America in the state of Connecticut . Thanks again 🪡🧵♥️
Marion, you had us all sitting there with our mouths watering. It looked delicious. Again another great video. I was making my book cover for the flower book while watching you and doing my bird. Looking forward to your next video.
Hi Marion, great video. I'm glad there will be no music, I'm usually sewing whilst watching, so I don't mind if it goes quite for a bit. Looking forward to your next video 😊🦘
You could make a lovely salad dressing with the limes to put on your garden veggies. That would be healthy. Maybe add some olive oil, honey and garlic to the lime juice.
Your voice is music enough. I found you by suggestion from ladies in my quilting bee. You were also mentioned by k3n clothtales on UA-cam. I’m so glad I found you. I listen two hours every afternoon while I sew quilts.
Loved seeing what you e been up to today ! Think I’ll have to try to make some ice cream, looks dime enough even for me 😂. Thank you for letting us take a peek into your very productive life 💕
Loving the ice cream recipe.. so much easier than using my machine attachment! And will definitely be making some lemon which my husband likes. Also lime. But my favourite is strawberry so will have to wait for the summer for that as I have no home made strawberry jam at the moment. Love your videos.. it is like having someone to tea for a chat! Thank you Marion! Gradually going through all your old videos! ❤
I agree about the thimble. I have a few but the one I reach for is a small, slightly misshapen one that belonged to my gran. It just fits nicely and makes such a difference.
Dear Marion, I so much enjoy your videos. The way you arange contents and to see your amazing craft skills make me happy. I also do a lot of hand crafting, painting, sewing and knitting. I enjoy working in the garden. Your garden pleases my eyes. So much growth.🎉
The ice cream looks so yummy and easy to make. I have never made any and now am lactose intolerant! Oh the joys of aging. Your garden is beautiful. Love your channel.
Thanks Sue. I made it from my husbands' jeans. You use the backside of the trousers for the front as you get the back pockets to use, then cut right around the waistband to go around your waist. Then the bottom of a leg makes the bib!
I grew up in a different state than I live in now. My favorite flavor of ice cream I grew up with isn’t available here. I’ve never been able to successfully make my own ice cream so I will have to try maple walnut flavor with this recipe.
Yummy! I made orange popcycles today, but I am really wanting to make icecream now. I never thought of using lime in this way. I didn't plant a garden this year, and I really miss it.
😋 yum how delicious your ice cream 🍨 looks I’ll definitely add that to my recipes and try it in summer 😊 I’ve been given a big bag of lemons and will make some lemon curd with them and save some for lemon meringue ice cream,I’ll also made a lemon delicious pudding tonight it’s one of my favourites ❤ Thanks for another look at your beautiful garden.Take care and I look forward to seeing you again soon
Marion, I’m a new subscriber, just absolutely adore watching your videos. I do enjoy the music free background. I enjoy following your musings, and listening to your process thinking through your decisions. Thank you for letting us into your world! Teri, from Fort Wayne, Indiana, US
Marion that looks delicious, your so talented , you make everything from next to nothing , I certainly need to spend a week ..no maybe a year working with you lol ... Your garden is so pretty , there's nothing better than fresh grown veg .. Looking forward to seeing your quilt finished and on your bed .. Your so very talented .. Take care , love and blessings from Ella in the blue mountains of Australia and..xx
Hello, I am from the Netherlands, sorry for my english. I like your vlog very much with your beautiiful garden, craft en recept! I will try your ice recept, it looks delicious. I like your embroidery also.
That icecream isto die for!! Also love your channin dress .,did you make it? .im so glad i found your youtube . Please continue . I li,e that you dont have music.
I love my old silver thimble which was my mum's. No great money value but it fits and doesn't tarnish and I love it. We had our first blueberries this week (our two bushes live in pots and moved here with us. They are covered in a frame with netting when ripening after the first time when the birds got to them first!😮 The ice cream looked so tempting. I too can't resist cakes either. Now to watch your next video which has just appeared. I can't keep up with you Marion! I have a lace bobbin with the words 'I must do some housework tomorrow!' Unfortunately it all takes longer to do as I get older😢
Sounds like you've got lots of interesting things going on around you too Jean. I try to do any tidying up first thing in the morning. As once it gets to a certain time of day.... all I can think about is making things, or painting, or anything that's interesting really.... Usually by the end of a project the sewing room is a huge mess. But then I put everything away as I like a good clear start for the next thing.
Hi Marion, enjoyed today’s video. Loved the ice cream you made, pity I don’t live next door. I admire anyone who does hand quilting as I don’t enjoy it. Im knitting and crocheting at the moment as it is relaxing in between other projects. Forget the housework, after four years the dust doesn’t get any thicker. Take care. x
I love watching your videos. So interesting. The ice cream looks yummy. Totally in agreement about housework. Stitching is far more fun. In fact anything is far more fun.
Dear Marion, I'm watching your video in the middle of my Canadian winter and you're making me smile and dream. Dream of summer and wearing short sleeves, eating a delicious ice cream and seeing the garden's in my neighbourhood full of flowers. Thank you for sharing your world with us. It's a beautiful world. 😍
Ooooooo yum! 🤤 I never thought of those flavors in ice cream but they really sound good. I’m so curious as to how the ginger is! What a fun thing to do on a hot rainy day. We’ve had so much rain here in Ohio. And it’s muggy for hours then all of a sudden nicer, can’t get a handle on doing outside stuff. I’m really excited to see how your quilt turns out! I’ve never found a well fitting thimble, they are always so large. I’m on a new hunt in the antique shops now 🤣 My cats like Boo, they watch from the floor and reach up to touch the tv! Craft happy💞💜
Each of your videos is such a wonderful experience. You share so many great things. I loved the tour of your garden, especially the hydrangeas. We have varieties here in Wisconsin that will change to pink or blue if you play with the pH of the soil, but finding one that is naturally pink would be amazing. The plant (jade?) behind you as you quilt is awesome. It looks like a tiny, ancient tree. Thank you so much for explaining how and when to use a thimble. I was watching your hands so closely before you started to speak about it. You are a phenomenal teacher. Thank you so much! 💕
Hello Michalia. The jade plant is really old. I grew it from a cutting about 40 years ago! Poor thing has been through the wars in the intervening years. My son and his friend knocked it off its' stand when they were about 12. It used to have one trunk and looked like a beautiful tree. Half got smashed, but it survived. Then it got leggy and I cut it back. Then last year it got neglected a lot and was in a real poor state unfortunately. I repotted it, cut it right back and brought it downstairs where I could keep a better eye on it. It's doing really well and looking good. I'm hoping to get a good shape back in the next few months.
Marion, so nice walking through your garden today. I live in Western Canada. It is 34’ Celsius with clear blue sky’s. I am busy making a journal as we visit. Your ice cream looks so yummy 😋. Hugs and blessings, ❤️🤗🇨🇦
Oh Lord, the ice cream flavors, love them! I’ll have to send my daughter to the grocery to get limes, I have plenty of ginger that I’m growing. And I thank you for the idea of rhubarb raspberry preserves, that’s what I’ll make with all those so overgrown Rhubarb calling me to harvest them😊. I’m exciting to see the finish quilt. I am yet to attempt quilting, hopefully when I finish with the Shashiko placemats and napkins and 2 journals i am currently making. Thank you for letting us in your beautiful garden and cozy home and for sharing your talents. God bless you. 🌷tess
@@marionsworld24 I grow a lot because I make ginger beer which is delicious, refreshing drink, helps with digestion etc. and it’s fermented. Organic ginger here in the U.S. is expensive. I use it in tea, cooking, and now I’ll use it in your delicious looking ice cream! I preserve them by chopping and freezing in ice trays. They love the summer, I start them in the winter under grow lights. Thank you for the inspiration, Marion. Love, love your channel!
Hi Marion, love your channel❤. Also, I’m very glad you don’t put music on. This is my most relaxing time, listening to you and working away in my sewing room. Thank you so much for such wonderful content.
You must have made your dress with the appliqués...It's really inspiring! I just got a circle kit and it's addictive...so many extra pieces of fabric become transformed when they are made into circles. After looking at your dress, I think I want the leaf kit also. I am alergic to wheat so no more lemon bars....But, lemon/lime ice cream! YES!
The ice cream is definitely worth doing... It's delicious Judy 👍 The top is reverse applique and the whole thing is all hand sewn. I've got a video scheduled in the not too distant future ☺️
@@marionsworld24 Reverse applique?? all those shapes are underneath the main fabric??!! can't wait to see the way you did it. You know there are few women who do what you do or even what I do which is I'd say 50% of what you do ..or 20% but I am the only women I know who does anything. I know they are out there but few and far between. I sewed everything I wore for 15 years, (and kids clothes and curtains) then started a business and could afford to buy suits and stuff but hardly the quality of what I had made. I still sew at 85 and will never stop...partly because I tended to save the best fabrics (from thailand, India, thrifting, etc) until last...(DUH!)
In Sri Lanka, we make the same cream and condensed milk icecream base and add a seasonal fruit - avacado (my fav), mango, pineapple jam, strawberry jam.....
Yes Linda I did! It's actually a skirt and top. I did my own pattern in the style of Alabama Chanin. I think she's great and her books are easy to use. I actually have another item to make in that style. I have it cut out ready to paint up, but haven't decided on the embroidery yet. It will be a poncho, shrug type of thing made from thrifted t-shirts.
I found your videos last week and did see 5 of them already. Love the icecream, I want to make it. But it is a little cold at the moment. I think it is very relaxing without the music, very happy you don't want to use it. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Another wonderful, peaceful video. I love everything you have to share. It is great to see your surroundings and what you are up too. I am definitely going to try the no churn ice cream. I love lime too. You are such a beautiful person. I love hearing your thoughts on things and advice. I really appreciate it. I am going to find a thimble that works for me, thanks. Bye now.
I have watched a lot of your videos and have enjoyed everyone of them. I am so thankful that you don't have music and just move your hands and fingers around like some of the other videos. Your music is your voice, birds and boo in the background. Oh, I love this dress on you, very pretty dress. Also is double cream the same as heavy cream???
Thank you Patty. I think double cream is more rich than heavy cream. It has 48% butterfat. In the ice cream recipe I think heavy cream will work fine though.
800 and now you have nearly six thousand that love your videos. You are just the sweetest soul and your talents innumerable, and your garden as pretty as any of us could imagine having outside our door. The quilt is lovely. May i ask, did you randomly sew pieces on to the quilt or is it squares sewn together? Perhaps you have a video shewing us. Ill go look.
The quilt was made over 10 years ago from a free mystery quilt a long. It's called The Calm Blue Ocean. It's still there on the original blog that I joined in with. Just search for Silly Goose Quilts.
Thank you Marion! You’re right, I definitely need to try your ice cream recipe! I love both ice cream and cake! Yay! Sounds like a party! I would like to try vanilla chocolate chip ice cream with a raspberry swirl! Yum! I your condensed milk sweetened? I think it probably is but ours says sweetened condensed milk on the label and I didn’t see that on yours. Do the meringues stay crunchy or soft? Thank you again!!💕Donna
So glad I saw this video i absolutely love the quilt. I looked it up!! I will have to make one using up scraps!! I hope you will show us the quilt in its completion.
Fabulous video. Love everything you did and still doing 💕 your icecream looked scrumptious 😋 😍 must try that in summer. It's winter now in South Africa 🇿🇦 but still warm in the day. Can't stop watching your video's from a while ago because i came across them so late. Enjoying each and every one 🎉🎉
What a neat recipe😋will try it. Is the meringue detectable? Can you taste it?🤔lovely dense green garden, love established gardens! Nice little refuge🐝Thanx for sharing Marion 🍒
Yes the meringue stays crunchy. As long as you don't crumble it up too small. It's a really good addition. Although I have made the meringues myself in the past, the bought ones actually work better as they don't have that gooey middle that homemade ones usually have.
It wasn't quite chutney Tina. I preserved the ginger like the stuff you buy in jars of syrup. So I can use it for sweet and savoury too. I happened to be given quite a lot of the fresh stuff so I jarred most of it up.
Thank you Marion from sunny Perth. Love the icecream recipe. Are you wearing an Alabama Chanin creation? Did you make it. Can you tell us what your wearing, especially if you have made it, as I am planning on making all my own clothes now.
Yes Denise 😊 I discovered her a few years ago and bought her books second hand. This top is the very first I made in her style. I really like it because of course it's all hand stitched 🪡🧵 I have a project coming up in that style but it will be my own design. Have you made anything like that?
Can i ask do you ever use a embroidery hoop on a quilt??? What’s your opinion on that? And that ice cream.......yummmmmooooooo!!!!!! Yum yum yum yum!! ❤❤❤
I use a hoop all the time for embroidery. But I've never used one for quilting. I don't have one that is large enough. I wish I had one of those square ones that you can put quilts in, but it's not worth it now as I don't do that much quilting any more.
Marion, I’ve just re-visited this episode to see how you made your ice cream. Does it set really solid? Or does it stay just soft enough to get out? I made some from a recipe I found online, and it set like a blinking brick! It didn’t have cream in it though, so I want to try yours. I made some lavender bottles with my Granddaughter today too. They were not very neat, but they will do the trick!
It's like a soft serve at first. But if you leave it in the freezer for more than a couple of weeks it will set solid and need ripening in the fridge to get it back to the correct consistency.

Such a pretty rose dish! Love that ❤ Sweetened Condensed milk is super easy to make. I made some for the first time this thanksgiving for my cherry cheese pie.
Ingredients:
2 cups whole milk dairy, almond, cashew, oat, etc.
3/4 cup sugar granulated or cane, honey, or maple syrup
4 tablespoons salted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Whisk together milk and sweetener in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.

I am 75 and hope to continue watching your videos as long as God allows me to be here on this beautiful Earth. Sending love to you from Australia ❤
Hello Maria. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying my videos 👍
It's a shame you can't find a comfortable thimble...
Thank you so much Bridget... I really appreciate that. I'm pleased you like what i'm making and the little snippets of other things going on.
Yummy 😋
💐
Ice cream looks delicious! I’m just finishing a rice bag, it’s lovely watching and listening to you at the same time ❤
Thank you. You'll have to give the ice cream a try...
Marion, you had us all sitting there with our mouths watering. It looked delicious. Again another great video. I was making my book cover for the flower book while watching you and doing my bird. Looking forward to your next video.
Brilliant Nancy. Thank you.
Excellent idea. Thank you. Honey and garlic sounds a perfect addition.
Your voice is music enough. I found you by suggestion from ladies in my quilting bee. You were also mentioned by k3n clothtales on UA-cam. I’m so glad I found you. I listen two hours every afternoon while I sew quilts.
I'm glad you enjoy watching Cindy. And thank you to your friends for the recommendation.
Kathryn has such a lovely channel too 😊🪡🧵
Loved seeing what you e been up to today !
Hope you enjoy them..
I agree about the thimble. I have a few but the one I reach for is a small, slightly misshapen one that belonged to my gran. It just fits nicely and makes such a difference.
Definitely does.... I wouldn't be without mine.
Thanks Marion, I'll have to try your recipe for ice cream.
Sewing and ice cream…what a fun afternoon!!!
A perfect combination I think 😂
Dear Marion, I so much enjoy your videos. The way you arange contents and to see your amazing craft skills make me happy. I also do a lot of hand crafting, painting, sewing and knitting. I enjoy working in the garden. Your garden pleases my eyes. So much growth.🎉
There'll be some garden videos coming as the weather gets warmer...
The ice cream looks so yummy and easy to make. I have never made any and now am lactose intolerant! Oh the joys of aging. Your garden is beautiful. Love your channel.
Thanks Susan. What a shame you can't try the ice cream....
MARION,yourgarden is so lovely I wouldlove to walk through it with you. I LOVE ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS.
Thanks Lori..
As a side note, Marion, I like your pinny. That looks perfect for purpose.
Thanks Sue. I made it from my husbands' jeans. You use the backside of the trousers for the front as you get the back pockets to use, then cut right around the waistband to go around your waist. Then the bottom of a leg makes the bib!
@@marionsworld24 Great repurposing. 👍
Oh that's a shame. Maybe you'll be able to plant next year... Gardens can be a total joy...and also need a big amount of time too 🌿🌼
😋 yum how delicious your ice cream 🍨 looks I’ll definitely add that to my recipes and try it in summer 😊
I’ve been given a big bag of lemons and will make some lemon curd with them and save some for lemon meringue ice cream,I’ll also made a lemon delicious pudding tonight it’s one of my favourites ❤
Thanks for another look at your beautiful garden.Take care and I look forward to seeing you again soon
Marion, I’m a new subscriber, just absolutely adore watching your videos. I do enjoy the music free background.
I enjoy following your musings, and listening to your process thinking through your decisions. Thank you for letting us into your world! Teri, from Fort Wayne, Indiana, US
Thanks Teri. I appreciate your message 👍💐
Love your cooking and gardern and quilt from nz.
Thanks Ella. The blue mountains sounds so romantic... I'm off to look them up... I'll wave at you from the UK 👋
Hello, I am from the Netherlands, sorry for my english. I like your vlog very much with your beautiiful garden, craft en recept! I will try your ice recept, it looks delicious. I like your embroidery also.
Thank you Marianne. I'm pleased you found my channel. I'm always doing something , whether its sewing or gardening or cooking...
Your song birds are delightful. You have such a gentle kind way about you. So enjoy
Brown bread ice cream yum.
Take care. x
❤❤ here you say just over 800 subscribers and today you have 21,600 👏👏👏👏👏👏
☺️💐👍 it totally amazes me!
I love watching your videos. So interesting. The ice cream looks yummy. Totally in agreement about housework. Stitching is far more fun. In fact anything is far more fun.
Absolutely!
Brrr......
I have never made ice cream. I am going to try it but I have to wait till my son is able to shop for the ingredients.Thank you for showing us that.
I hope you enjoy it 😊
Ooooooo yum!
Good luck on the thimble hunt. I must have a dozen or more. Most of them are quite old ones.
Just condensed milk and lime make a brilliant no bake pudding - student kitchen version 😀
Do you still whip it up? I've done something similar with just cream...
I would rather listen to you instead of music. I like all the diverse things you do. Thank you. I so enjoy
Thanks Vickie 😅
Your ice creams look delicious!!! 😋😋 Marion, I love seeing your garden area & you are a joy to “visit” with !!! Thanks so much for sharing !!!
You'll have to have a go making some... It always turns out lovely..☺️
Terrific video you are a true artist. ❤
Thank you.😊
Marion, so nice walking through your garden today. I live in Western Canada. It is 34’ Celsius with clear blue sky’s. I am busy making a journal as we visit. Your ice cream looks so yummy 😋. Hugs and blessings, ❤️🤗🇨🇦
Thanks Laura..
I’m diabetic or I would make those ice cream recipes,,,,.I love your channel and your crafts
I'll see if I can come up with a work around for you....
@@marionsworld24 Thankyou Marion
🌷tess
It sounds like you have plenty to do...just like me! It's amazing to me that you grow ginger... Do you preserve it in any way?
You're most welcome 🪡🧵
Bueno. Me alegra que lo disfrutes ☺️
It's delicious Judy 👍
The top is reverse applique and the whole thing is all hand sewn.
Yummy ☺️
Love you channin dress .did you make it ? The ice cream is to die for ! I like that you dont have music .
I've said it before and I'll say it again, we need to develop some kind of taste-o-vision! 😊
Definitely!!!
I found your videos last week and did see 5 of them already. Love the icecream, I want to make it. But it is a little cold at the moment. I think it is very relaxing without the music, very happy you don't want to use it. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Crikey.. Thank you for watching. I haven't really been going that long so there's not a huge amount of backlog so far...
Bye now.
can't find double cream here in the states :(
Thanks Shelly. I'm so pleased you like joining me whilst I make my things.
@@shelly7405 Hi, heavy cream or whipping cream is simular to our double cream. Hope that helps you. Good luck with your ice cream 😊
😅definitely making o churn ice cream tomorrow! Guava and some of Coconut, yummy thanks for sharing, love your Garden
I don't think I've ever seen a guava 🤔
800 and now you have nearly six thousand that love your videos. You are just the sweetest soul and your talents innumerable, and your garden as pretty as any of us could imagine having outside our door. The quilt is lovely. May i ask, did you randomly sew pieces on to the quilt or is it squares sewn together? Perhaps you have a video shewing us. Ill go look.
The quilt was made over 10 years ago from a free mystery quilt a long. It's called The Calm Blue Ocean. It's still there on the original blog that I joined in with. Just search for Silly Goose Quilts.
Time spent with enjoyment ❤❤ thankyou ....do I wish I had a bowl of yr ice cream 💐💐💐
You'll have to make some. It's super yummy!
Yes it's sweetened. I think it's the same stuff everywhere. The merengue stays crunchy 😊
Definitely trying the ice cream!
Well, we’re going on holiday on Thursday…but I want to make ice cream NOW! It was absolute torture watching you make it! Thank you 🤗x
😅👍
So glad I saw this video i absolutely love the quilt. I looked it up!! I will have to make one using up scraps!! I hope you will show us the quilt in its completion.
It's so interesting to make and looks beautiful now I've finished it. The finished quilt is on one of the videos after this...
Thank you for sharing ❤
Yes I hate music..just loved listening to you! I feel like I am right there with you! I am from Iowa in the USA
☺️
Fabulous video. Love everything you did and still doing 💕 your icecream looked scrumptious 😋 😍 must try that in summer. It's winter now in South Africa 🇿🇦 but still warm in the day. Can't stop watching your video's from a while ago because i came across them so late. Enjoying each and every one 🎉🎉
Brilliant. Thank you for watching them💐
Adorable tu gato 🐱!.. Me encanta todo lo que haces, muchas gracias ❤.
Thank you 😺
Must try making ice cream, thanks for sharing x
You definitely should!
My second video you have a beautiful life I have made a no churn ice cream but not as nice has yours which I intend to try
I experiment with new flavours every time I make some... But my favourite is the lemon meringue one I think ☺️
yummy
I LOVE your apron!!
Ice cream looks so delicious Marion.
Thank you. I hope you enjoy your taster!
I have the same bowl..love it. Mine is Mason n Cash.
Mine too 😊👍
Thanks!
👍
What a neat recipe😋will try it. Is the meringue detectable? Can you taste it?🤔lovely dense green garden, love established gardens! Nice little refuge🐝Thanx for sharing Marion 🍒
Yes the meringue stays crunchy. As long as you don't crumble it up too small. It's a really good addition. Although I have made the meringues myself in the past, the bought ones actually work better as they don't have that gooey middle that homemade ones usually have.
I forgot to say my favourite icecream is lime and coconut.
I'm going to do that combination next time! It sounds lovely... 🍦
Yummy. Can we be taught how to make the ginger chutney one day?
I love all you do in your video, did you make your apron? Tfs!
Yes Betty I did... It's made from a thrifted pair of jeans. I might do a video showing how. It's very easy to do.
😊👍🏻❤️
