Hi Marion I'm so pleased I've found you channel. I'm looking forward to seeing your books develop. You are very talented and inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
It is lovely to see you‘re giving the nettle the attention it deserves. When I was small, many years ago, my grandmother and mother would use nettle fabric to make aprons, as it was rough and hard wearing. My pony used to eat nettles in the hay, but he would nibble it upside down, as they don’t sting being handled that way.😊
This is such a pretty page, and apart from the simple “tools” you use to make a nettle, that just gives a perfect result, I love your way of showing your love for Nature 💗. It is so inspiring, so even I can now begin to see the beauty in a nettle, and not just the fear of being “attacked” if I see my grandchildren go to near. Thank you for sharing your love and showing the way🌷🌻🌺💗🥰
This is so beautiful. I agree about loving all wild flowers. The dandelion is one of my favourite flowers. I know it is considered a weed but, just look at it! It is often the first flower a child gives to their mom, I think that is why I like it best. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦

I've ironed the back of the fabric with Bondaweb. It's a non woven web of glue that has a paper backing. You iron it onto your first fabric and then take the paper off. That exposes the other side of the glue which you can then attach to another fabric...
It's also called Vlieseline ...
Thank you for your time to answer me🌸 I will try the Vlieseline👍🏼
what paint do you use on your fabric
Either watered down acrylic paint or Inktense blocks, which are a water soluble ink
