Hi yourself! I'm good, I hope you are doing well too! You probably just need to play with the bind it all a bit and you will get the hang of it...so many toys, so little time:)
I have the bind it all and love it. Just a heads up in the back of your bind it all there is a little metal arm that you pull out, it stabilizes the bind it all so it doesn't move around. I have worked with a cinch too but I really like my bind it all better. This is a great video thanks! Aly :)
Hi Lindsay! Thanks for the great ideas for binding. I have a bind-it-all and I'm still learning to use it. I've only used it twice. Lame huh! I hope you're well, you look great!
Well, I guess it depends on the look you want and the money you want to spend. I chose this type of comb style machine because I can buy the combs at any office supplier, it is easy to use and the machine was $20, it works for everything I need it too and I know the combs will be available forever and in many colors. I also like how I can punch the whole sheet of paper at one instead of having to do 3" at a time. I worry that some of the trendy craft binding machines might (cont.)
I have been watching different you tube vids and would like to ask your opinion on which machine you would recommend for binding. I would prefer to just make one investment, no one I know has a binding machine, so I can not try one before buying. Thank you for your help and the information that you provide.
standard (US) 8.5"x11" but you could easily to A4, the binding machine has a paper guide you can change for that:) I like to keep it standard to avoid waste and save time:)
@carblover55 You only need binding combs, Staples has blak and white ones but the website I bought my machine from (mybinding -dot- com) has lots of colors to choose from, maybe they have an assortment? I bought 1/2" combs because I like to make scrapbooks with embelllishments and they are most versitile. They have a guidline about what size combs to get for your project on the comb boxes and on the machine. they are pretty standard so if you see some on sale or clearence you can snag them up!
@shtanah If you go to amazon just type "hp ______ ink cartridges" in the search box. Instead of the blank type the cartridge number or model number of your printer. For instance I's type "HP 02 cartridges" and I would see both HP brand and off brand carts. If the search results show only HP brand carts search "HP______ refilled ink cartridges" or "HP off-brand ink" and you will find some choices;)
...be discontinued if they are no longer popular (anyone remember roll-a-bind?) But I know the plastic combs are a staple offive supply that will always be there and I can ink them with alcohol ink if I want an artsy look. Also, when you have a craft item, like the Zutter bind-it-all or the Cinch, you have a limited market, fewer customers mean higher prices, the binding wires for those machine cost dollars and the comb binding for mine cost pennies. Get something sturdy whatever you choose!
great video!! I wish I had found you earlier I would have saved so much money! oh well! Can you please tell me again about the ink from amazon? I have hp and its really expensive.
BABY LINDSAY!!! Still gorgeous, girl!
