I just got the mini Cinch on clearance from Hobby Lobby and have been watching videos to learn how to use. You did a great job 👏🏽! A tip that I have been seeing is to add your back cover on last facing the front cover then cinch. This will hide the cinch seam inside the journal and provide more mobility for the pages. I hope to see more paper crafting from you soon! Check out the Posh Paper Lady for all things paper crafting. See is the Queen! Enjoy! ❤

I have the mini cinch and I actually just used mine for the first time last night to bind together the whole sewcialites quilting pattern from the Fat Quarter shop because it was 60 pages by itself and I didn’t want to put it in the binder with page protectors. I also used Acetate to put on the front and back not only to help protect the front and back but so I can also go back and add some vinyl for further embellishment. How funny I wake up to your video using the big cinch!! Mine was an 8x10 size but it was a “cinch” to put it together. I would wonder though, how punching through the thick adhesive might effect it over time.

Delonda, this was an awesome tutorial. I pulled my cinch machine out last week and was using the cricut process and not all that successful to my liking. I’ve tried various process, but not one I can say I’m sticking with. I must say your way is going to be my way. I need to do some 5 x 7 & 4x 6 journals can you do a tutorial with those measurements or just basically follow the same process with cutting the wire.

Hi. I want to make a crafting journal. What would be your suggestions that i would need to have on my pages for one. Ex. for my inside pages?

Hi there! There is so much. I write down my ideas, things I want to make, materials. Did you watch all the way to the end?
