I am a bit confused about her A1 effects and her discharge buff. Discharge says buffs flame dmg by 1.2% of Polyfeather Parasol. Does that mean you get 3*1.2%? or 30 feathers * 1.2% or 1.2% of some % scaling in one of her skills? Her A1 is also confusing, because it says ammo costs, but also damage, chrage and shatter effects are all multiplied. Are dmg charge and shatter only multiplied for weapons using ammo then (just Anna?). I would have worded that way differently: "for weapons that consume ammo, their ammo cost, dmg..etc" or "when other weapons consume ammo, the ammo costs, damage...etc, of the attack is multiplied by the number of parasols on the field.
If you have 3 Parasols out, then your Polyfeather Parasol multiplier is 4 (6 at A6). Discharge buffs Flame DMG by 4 * 1.2 = 4.8% before A6, or 6 * 1.2 = 7.2% at A6. The ammo cost part just means you consume more ammo at a time, essentially. When you dodge on Anna, it'll shoot out 4 bullets, and do the damage/shatter/charge of all 4 bullets at once. Anna is the only character with ammo currently so it's a bit of a forced interaction, lol~
@@Maygi Thank you for explaining. I was definitely expecting a bigger damage buff than 4.8%..plus the passive 6%. A bit stupid to nerf the damage buff part of her kit honestly...if it was 22% on CN, that is in line with other damage buffers on global.
Lin's utility is really low at lower advancements, because the uptime on the field is much less, and her passive damage (which is already fairly mediocre at A6 with current standards) is even lower. If you're considering A0 Lin, you may find better success even with something like Tsubasa...!

The "Polyfeather Parasol" multiplier is # of parasols + 1, so 3 + 1 = 4 A6 makes the multiplier for Fiery Crash, Flame Vortex, and the Discharge DMG buff to "Polyfeather Parasol + 2" aka 4 + 2 I also tested this multiplier (standalone) and did observe a 50% increase going from A5 to A6

I'm just curious but how is the damage on annabella with gas bullets compared to main dps lan? Would the comp change if Lan is main dps if her damage output is higher? I'm just mainly trying to decide if I need to 6 star lan if her output is higher than annabella.
Lan is a lot more consistent, and camping on Annabella would also require her matrix or Cobalt's, or you will run out of dodges quite early without it. Even without Lan as main DPS, her A6 still has value for adding DPS through her passive damage, so if there's nothing else you're saving for, do consider picking that up ... ! The teamcomp is essentially the same regardless of Lan/Anna "main" DPS, they just have different priorities for field time.

I am really dum dum but what exactly does the "Relative gain vs resist" mean? Which kind of resistance is meant? Like enemies with Volt resist? Or something else? So Rainbow comp isthe strongest against resisted enemies?
In some content, enemies have some "resistance", which is a form of defense. For example, if they have 40% resistance and normally you hit 1000 damage on a cactus, you'll only hit 600 damage on that enemy. Only certain types of content have resistance - note that this resistance value is separate from the one that literally pops up the text "Resistance" in content that says stuff like "Enemy resists 66% Volt damage"
Lan Anna Claudia is definitely a comp that can work. I can only include so many comps in the video; if I were to include every combination of comps that work you'd see a massive table with so many numbers and it just wouldn't be good guide content. If you want to compare something specific, use the calculator in the description, it's there for a reason!
@@Aveqz0 King is good in any comps. I think you can use them. Enter battle with Lan, fill ur energy, use Lan's skill then change to Huma, stack shield buff then change to axe, King is the last

she is good with team damage reduction and hyperbody. tbh thats what only missing in flame tank comp as ice tank comp(meryl) already have hyperbody and we flame tanks dont have one(unless we got lyra on team with lyra trait)
i did try parse on someone else acc they mostly have 1* lan/lin and got a 145mil parse as lan dps main anna main dps seems to parse quite a bit lower i did try ruby and it felt giga bad comapred to lin also only thing 8sec on lan i found to be bad its more like 4sec in my testing but 3 anna bullet count was better then 2

She'll still be a massive upgrade! Lan really works out quite well with any unit - you can run her with King for now; she'll just be doing most of the heavy lifting!
At this point, if you have both Liu Huo and Lan A0, the value of either A1 is roughly the same, though leaning towards Liu Huo A1 as since she is more recent, she'll last a bit longer in the meta
Annabella, Claudia (or even Tsubasa) can all work as viable options for DPS~ in Sequential Bygone, King might be an option as well. Of course, if you prefer tanking / supporting, you can run a 2nd fortitude weapon paired with a benediction weapon for additional team support~
question from a magical girl to another one: Ok, I'm planing to play Lan as the main dps, but I don't know what matrices should I use on Lan and the ones on Anabella, considering they are both doing active on field dps.... Lin is my third spot, i'm using Lin's matrices on herself... The other two, any tips?
If youre a low spender you can use lin matrices on lan, then use scylla matrices on lin. For anna any standard dps matrix will work well like 2pc samir 2pc crow or shiro
If you're not playing the meta, anything works. Is that a team with good synergy? No, absolutely not. Fenrir scales with volt attack while Lan scales with flame attack. Unless you have full 5 roll flat attack gear, it's just bad. Then the two weapons don't have mechanics that interact together. Lan boosts flame damage, does off-field flame damage, and has that ammo passive in A1. Fenrir doesn't benefit from any of those, and the off-field damage needs flame gear to be significant. Conversely, Lan doesn't gain anything from Fenrir either, except maybe crit rate if you have A6 Fenrir. Nothing substantial.
The reason why Saki rainbow comp is OP is due to the skill reset, as others have mentioned. Fenrir + Lan would be a bit weird, as you're splitting your damage into two elements, with two characters that just don't really go well with each other. Fenrir wants to be a main DPS, and Lan's umbrellas (and Lin nightblooms) do not do damage to her clone. Lan also wants field time to use her low cooldown skill to get those parasols spinning, too!

If you don't have too much resources to pull, I'd just use the new world boss sets on your alternate weapons! Your matrix setup can probably look something like: Scylla on Lin Samir/Shiro on Lan Habo on Anna

same man.. ive pulled fenrir in the end, not regretting cause she is so fun and u can literally go and attack anything since she heals so so much and slows targets, even at just a1 fenrir was so close to a6 anna + a6 ruby and a6 lin team comp. Normal attacks on ruby seems a bit copium at this point of game, also long setup and if u also play flame like i did, u know how frustrating it is to get aggro sometimes and u need space to do dmg..also that overfill of energy makes your discharge full non stop, while basically u want to cancel them xD such a shit comp

But i can say lan saved flame. I replaced ruby with lan and everytime i run pursuit of fate i always outdamage fenrir teams unless its a whale

Ive read a post on reddit from you where you talked about Fenrir but i didnt get it. Does it mean we should attack the clone and not the enemie and will we always crit so volt should go for attack only?
You always crit the clone, but damage outside the clone still matters as well - also, in AOE situations, you'll definitely want crit, so don't avoid it! The 100% crit on clone condition just makes crit a bit less relative value, but it's not something you should completely forgo~
Hi! Great video as always, helps making choices for low spenders. I've got a question, I'm currently on Lan A1, Anna A0 and Lin A3. Anna and Lin are running their matrices with 0* and Lan is running Samir/Crow. Would you spend resources on getting Lan's matrices or getting Anna to A3 in order to gain both dmg and sustain?
Would be grateful if you could include Lan-Anna-Ruby in the min-max rotation. (altho said in above vid that such team comp may not be the best in current meta/situation.)

well it's not like Fenrir comp does perfect rotations against agile bosses all the time. If you miss your skill you won't have it for 30seconds and that's a lot of damage gone. it's even worse for mixed comp. and the worst thing? it can happen multiple times consecutively. the clone also won't always be next to the boss so you can't hit them both at the same time unlike when you parse in cactus :v my point isn't to say which comp has it worse but parsing against cactus and fighting in real battles won't produce same results as there will always be situations that will mess up your rotation. thanks for the in-depth analysis as always!

Well she did for now, she put flame only 2nd to Fenrir dps wise, that's pretty good, now frost has the lowest dps output out of all elements (phys has higher dps ceiling than frost if you have the mechanics to pilot it). So the question now should be, will icarus save frost?

When you get hit inside an , you still see the damage number, but you don't actually take the damage ~

A0 Lan is pretty strong and can definitely fit into any Flame team! (A0 is also plenty for tanking as well)
@@Maygi I see, i don't have annabella and ruby, i just comeback into the game xD i only have A3 meryl for tanking and A2 king for flame team, is lan still usable on my team? Right now i mainly run A1 frigg, A3 lin and A4 tsubasa, and i feel my A1 frigg is quite outdated
She'll still be a massive upgrade! Lan really works out quite well with any unit - you can run her with King for now; she'll just be doing most of the heavy lifting!

At this point, if you have both Liu Huo and Lan A0, the value of either A1 is roughly the same, though leaning towards Liu Huo A1 as since she is more recent, she'll last a bit longer in the meta

Annabella, Claudia (or even Tsubasa) can all work as viable options for DPS~ in Sequential Bygone, King might be an option as well. Of course, if you prefer tanking / supporting, you can run a 2nd fortitude weapon paired with a benediction weapon for additional team support~

question from a magical girl to another one: Ok, I'm planing to play Lan as the main dps, but I don't know what matrices should I use on Lan and the ones on Anabella, considering they are both doing active on field dps.... Lin is my third spot, i'm using Lin's matrices on herself... The other two, any tips?
If youre a low spender you can use lin matrices on lan, then use scylla matrices on lin. For anna any standard dps matrix will work well like 2pc samir 2pc crow or shiro

If you're not playing the meta, anything works. Is that a team with good synergy? No, absolutely not. Fenrir scales with volt attack while Lan scales with flame attack. Unless you have full 5 roll flat attack gear, it's just bad. Then the two weapons don't have mechanics that interact together. Lan boosts flame damage, does off-field flame damage, and has that ammo passive in A1. Fenrir doesn't benefit from any of those, and the off-field damage needs flame gear to be significant. Conversely, Lan doesn't gain anything from Fenrir either, except maybe crit rate if you have A6 Fenrir. Nothing substantial.
The reason why Saki rainbow comp is OP is due to the skill reset, as others have mentioned. Fenrir + Lan would be a bit weird, as you're splitting your damage into two elements, with two characters that just don't really go well with each other. Fenrir wants to be a main DPS, and Lan's umbrellas (and Lin nightblooms) do not do damage to her clone. Lan also wants field time to use her low cooldown skill to get those parasols spinning, too!

If you don't have too much resources to pull, I'd just use the new world boss sets on your alternate weapons!
Your matrix setup can probably look something like:
Scylla on Lin
Samir/Shiro on Lan
Habo on Anna

same man.. ive pulled fenrir in the end, not regretting cause she is so fun and u can literally go and attack anything since she heals so so much and slows targets, even at just a1 fenrir was so close to a6 anna + a6 ruby and a6 lin team comp. Normal attacks on ruby seems a bit copium at this point of game, also long setup and if u also play flame like i did, u know how frustrating it is to get aggro sometimes and u need space to do dmg..also that overfill of energy makes your discharge full non stop, while basically u want to cancel them xD such a shit comp

@@tomislavkvasina5854 i understand your frustration, i was running a6 lin, a3 ruby and a3 anna before, and you should never do normal attacks with ruby unless you just want that ultimate heat buff, which is easier to achieve if you are a6. But i can say lan saved flame. I replaced ruby with lan and everytime i run pursuit of fate i always outdamage fenrir teams unless its a whale

Ive read a post on reddit from you where you talked about Fenrir but i didnt get it. Does it mean we should attack the clone and not the enemie and will we always crit so volt should go for attack only?
You always crit the clone, but damage outside the clone still matters as well - also, in AOE situations, you'll definitely want crit, so don't avoid it! The 100% crit on clone condition just makes crit a bit less relative value, but it's not something you should completely forgo~

I've got a question, I'm currently on Lan A1, Anna A0 and Lin A3. Anna and Lin are running their matrices with 0* and Lan is running Samir/Crow. Would you spend resources on getting Lan's matrices or getting Anna to A3 in order to gain both dmg and sustain?

well it's not like Fenrir comp does perfect rotations against agile bosses all the time. If you miss your skill you won't have it for 30seconds and that's a lot of damage gone. it's even worse for mixed comp. and the worst thing? it can happen multiple times consecutively. the clone also won't always be next to the boss so you can't hit them both at the same time unlike when you parse in cactus :v
my point isn't to say which comp has it worse but parsing against cactus and fighting in real battles won't produce same results as there will always be situations that will mess up your rotation. thanks for the in-depth analysis as always!

So in short, Lan does not save flame.
Well she did for now, she put flame only 2nd to Fenrir dps wise, that's pretty good, now frost has the lowest dps output out of all elements (phys has higher dps ceiling than frost if you have the mechanics to pilot it). So the question now should be, will icarus save frost?
