The slow-down can't come any sooner, we have Gununno in another two weeks... oh boy! Anyway! Birthday stream this weekend! Originally scheduled for tomorrow but I might wanna take a chill day so I can properly plan it. Do stop by if you're free! I'm gonna be playing fun games with chat, I was thinking of doing like a TOF-themed Gartic Phone, that could be phone... Edits/Notes Woops, for the F2P teams graph, it still says "A6". But, you know what I mean! It's with all A1 characters~ While at the upper end, you do need A6 Lin for Altered teams to be competitive with other endgame teams, it doesn't mean it's unplayable without it ! Especially in Sequential, for your off-elements, if you don't have any strong options, running the ultimate budget team of Lin + Fiona + X (I use Claudia here) can perform decently in every element without worrying about any investment. (For reference, I have A1 Fiona and A1 Lin and can score 1.7K+ in all elements without even using a weapon from that element, which is enough to hit the second dark crystal milestone).
The effort that this user has given to the elaboration of this pair of good quality video analysis of the abilities of a character down to the smallest possible detail is something that I must appreciate. You did a good video on Fiona, Maygi. You deserve a good rest right now.

for any frost mains wondering between Saki vs Fiona at low advancements: (no fiona matrices) A6 Icarus, A6 Alyss, A1 Saki > A6 Icarus, A6 Alyss, A0 Fiona A6 Icarus, A6 Alyss, A1 Fiona roughly the same damage as A6 Icarus, A6 Alyss, A1 Saki. so if you have saki A5+, no point getting Fiona if you cant afford to get her matrices too.

Yea, I would like to have seen some guides for it because I'm trying to transistion from my dogshit dps into support now. Even if 2.5 standards come I doubt I will ever go back to dps ever.
I usually run rainbow Fen for dps, as her and lin are A6 in my teams, but I added Fiona into my healer team. Currently, I run Lyra Fiona Nemesis for my healer teams. It's been working pretty solidly. I put zero matrices on Fiona, since all her healing comes from spamming discharges on her. With Fiona matrices on Lyra and coco or Haboela matrices on Nemesis. Since I don't dodge orb spam to heal as much on nemesis anymore. For Fiona skills I usually run shackle and torrent, because the frequent Fiona discharges mean I can spam torrent quite often, and lead to more discharges. If I have downtime between discharges, I punch on lyra for more shielding and healing. And the zero shield helps buff and protect my team, particularly when they're also getting Lyra heals. If you don't have Lyra, zero matrices on zero, and Fiona matrices on Fiona. Or at least that's what I've been running in VA, OOW, and when my crew raid carries need a healer instead of a dps.
This right here! Currently running zero, Fiona and Lyra and I’d love to see someone else’s cycle and analysis on it. The buffs are unreal and the healing is the icing on the cake.

Tbh numbers and analysis make my head spin so I'm more into practical tests but I love your videos still, it gives us a general idea of the standings for each new character that you review. I don't have claudia yet so I've just been running lin a1 with haboela, fenrir a1 with samir + shiro, and then fiona a0 with 4 piece fiona. It's been fun so far
From my experience, for Lan Altered it was better to run Hydro Focus over Vortex and use Lan as ''mDPS', but makes sense that a 3* Claudia Matrix set will favour Vortex with Fiona on field longer. Despite that difference the spreadsheet ended up calculating very similar dmg results to my cactus test.
Haha yeah I recorded it the same day I did the script, and ended up recording until like 3 AM !! I figured I wanted to get as much done as possible because I wouldn't wanna wake up and spend hours recording the next day...
For the flame team, Hydro Focus with Torrential Force works much better. I use it in my rotation. As you will have a 12% skill dmg. Well spring is nice if you have a lot of off field dmg imo. Also I prefer using the discharge of Fiona before Lan’s discharge as you will suspend the target with Fiona her skill meaning Lan her skill will go perfectly around the target so you have the parasols at the best position for most dmg with Anna. Thanks for you analysis!
Very high theoretical ceiling, yes! Though I'm getting flashbacks to Tsubasa arrow rain days as no mobs will actually stand inside the center of the funny yoyo domain
@@Maygi I'm not sure if you are aware, but Icarus Yoyo moves to any target you discharge or use weapon skills against. The downtime that occurs when a mob leaves it is incredibly short as a result. With that said, like with any comp, it's much easier to do optimal rotations on mobs who aren't teleporting around and what not. Icaras comps in particular really wants you to be in the boss' face I've experienced to optimize your discharge time which is very important for optimal damage. This can get a bit scary in difficult content I have found where things can one shot you (e.g. high floors of OoW with large % boosts).
@@Maygi surprisingly I have no issue about the yoyo domain as you can keep repositioning it and from what I heard speedy yoyo is not the main source of damage? But from spamming icarus sub skill to trigger A1 Alyss?

Pretty much, yeah! Let the skill cast finish as well, and then let the discharge cast as well, then you should be good to go for a while in terms of charge momentum ~
@@redsmond u can use either, crow/samir/shiro. they're nice too. my current team is a3 lin(crow samir matrice), a0 fiona(fiona samir matrice), a6 meryl (shiro huma matrice) and fiona give me 5k+ elemental attack on combat. so i think its pretty nice to have fiona.

I hope you can help me decide on a Fiona team comp based on my SSRs: A3 Fiona, A3 Frigg, A3 Saki, A3 Claudia, A3 Tsubasa, A1 Nemesis. Also what matrices i should invest in for fiona.
Fiona + Frigg + Saki would be a functional oldschool comp, though with what you have, you can aim for a flexible, newer-gen main DPS, whether you want to stick with Frost and grab Yulan, or mix it up with Liu Huo or Mimi (upcoming) - you'd be able to use Claudia + Fiona + [new char] which would work pretty well!
On a A6 Lin, A6 Fenrir and A3 Fiona team, would it still be better to run vortex over hydro? The 12% damage buff that can be kept up 100% of the time seems worth losing a bit of damage from the skill itself, or am I wrong on that?
Yeah, I should've made the distinction, but for an altered + Fenrir team specifically, the whole teamcomp turns from a "focus on big altered skill damage" comp to just Fenrir + two supports, and plays completely differently (it's just a Fenrir comp at that point), so you would want to use Hydro + Wellspring for it probably
I wonder if it's possible at any investment point that going for the resistance shred prism on ice would be better than the hydro buff in the high resistance content we have right now ?
Its not fair that Fiona powercreeps my A6 Lin so hard. I really lost motivation for this game due to the constant powercreeping even tho i was on a lot of Copium because i thought they would balance global out so that every Character is usable

One doubt, i have Fenrir A1, Fiona A0, but no tiang lang. What SSR would be ok as replacement? I have claudia A3 as generic buffer, also Lin A0. I have mained quite some time the rainbow team, its fun
It would probably be Lyra-Fiona-Zero. Fiona replaces nemesis at the healing and requires low investment. You can put on her coco or haboela boss matrix.
Right now, Im using Fiona, Lin and Fenrir. Im just keep spam Discharge skill and skill, and since Cobalt-B, Claudia, Frigg and Nemesis will droping into standard, Im planing to invest matrix that work on the background like 2pc Fenrir, 2pc Icarus, 2pc Fiona, 2pc Lin, and 2pc Garnett so it can work on all element. Would that all A0 matrices worth more than Shiro, Crow, and Samir A3?
It'll be a while before Fenrir/Icarus/etc get into standard banner - from what I understand, Ruby and then Saki have only just been added to standard in CN, so it'll be a while before they get here. With World Boss matrices out, it's mostly better to use those, or 3* standard, over 0* 2-piece that'll "eventually" get put into standard.
@@MaygiI mean, Im just low spender or F2P, only bought Advance Pass and Monthy Pass. Im planning only pull Altered weapon on Red Nucs, and spend Dark Crystal on 2pc Matrices that do background damage and can be upgrade on re-run (4pc Matrices doesnt work since it only work for certain weapon or element only). Is this a good idea?
Rainbow team just refers to Saki Fenrir Lin. You can't replace Lin with Fiona, or you lose the Weapons Master passive that makes Saki work in this comp in the first place.
Feels like I have to get her just to be relevant at all in the game - but don't plan on getting Icarus (I guess), so can't even use her outside of a few monthly events to serve as a convenient accessory for whales. Otherwise give everything for a frost team that will be powercrept in one or two banners. Is this game even worth the effort at this point?
I had to skip Fiona as she didn't make any sense for me to go for. Icarus was my least lucky banner yet, and despite putting all my saved up resources into him, I ended up at like 2/7 on 50/50%'s and C5 over 400 or so pulls. Considering I have A6 Lin + her matrices, it was never going to be possible for Fiona to be more worthwhile than getting the most I could out of Icarus. I would highly disagree that Lin is to Fiona as what Cobalt B was to Annabelle, as not even your own graph shows that. Which, your graphs themselves are a bit deceiving in how they are presented in that panel, since the difference between A0 to A6 is not at all equally dispersed. A0 is worse, A1 is about on par, and it's A6 where you actually notice a heavy increase, with A2~A5 being extremely low impact. For many players who already had Lin A6 + Matrices and couldn't go that far into Fiona, skipping Fiona is a very reasonable choice, such as in my case, as anything less than A6 would have been either nothing or relatively low depending on the comp. I thus don't see how this parallels well with Cobalt B vs. Annabelle. With that said, as always, thank you for your data on the comparisons, especially with all the variations that came into play with Fiona's kit. I would like to think most people were fine with you dividing it up into 2 videos given how much there was to cover.
You know what's the most depressing part for phys is? I spent 120 pulls to get Fiona A0. And now they say Gunono is gonna be in 2 weeks already To begin with maybe I don't even want Gunono, why the fuck are we forced to use her?
I feel the same way. I spent more money on Phys than any other element and its trash and now I have to pull her just to compete again. With the way these banners are coming it might be best to just wait longer for the 3.0 phys but with our luck they will be a fortitude character or some shit.
Im a full f2p and my team is a1 alyss, a3 lin and a1 saki? If get lucky with fiona and pull for an a3 fiona and replace lin, would it be an upgrade or downgrade?
actually fiona is not needed at all, only a0 for a heal team. as for dps= its quite expensive to spend $ just for a minor damage increase. and take into consideration - in 3.0 (which is soon) we will have another powercreep

Just thought i'd ask but if fionna is A2-A3, With everyone else in a6 In the altered comp with lan It's probably still weaker than flame comp with a6 annabelle right? Since it seems the focus will be on Fiona for altered comp, that would make sense right?

Fiona's trait, because you'll want both the skill & discharge boosts for Vortex damage, and the Vortex damage buff itself!

Funny enaugh yesterday i played my alterate comp with Icarus. Afterwards i changed to Tsubasa and i do way more damage in the Tsubasa comp.

In flame comps , I have everything max invesment except for anna matrix , I use instead 2pc lyra 2pc lin on anna is it okay ?

What if you’re starting the frost rotation with no weapon charge, do you just spam alyss until you can discharge into icarus?
Pretty much, yeah! Let the skill cast finish as well, and then let the discharge cast as well, then you should be good to go for a while in terms of charge momentum ~

my current team is a3 lin(crow samir matrice), a0 fiona(fiona samir matrice), a6 meryl (shiro huma matrice) and fiona give me 5k+ elemental attack on combat. so i think its pretty nice to have fiona.

I hope you can help me decide on a Fiona team comp based on my SSRs: A3 Fiona, A3 Frigg, A3 Saki, A3 Claudia, A3 Tsubasa, A1 Nemesis. Also what matrices i should invest in for fiona.
Fiona + Frigg + Saki would be a functional oldschool comp, though with what you have, you can aim for a flexible, newer-gen main DPS, whether you want to stick with Frost and grab Yulan, or mix it up with Liu Huo or Mimi (upcoming) - you'd be able to use Claudia + Fiona + [new char] which would work pretty well!

On a A6 Lin, A6 Fenrir and A3 Fiona team, would it still be better to run vortex over hydro? The 12% damage buff that can be kept up 100% of the time seems worth losing a bit of damage from the skill itself, or am I wrong on that?
Yeah, I should've made the distinction, but for an altered + Fenrir team specifically, the whole teamcomp turns from a "focus on big altered skill damage" comp to just Fenrir + two supports, and plays completely differently (it's just a Fenrir comp at that point), so you would want to use Hydro + Wellspring for it probably

Claudia would probably be the go-to pick in this case, and should get a good boost from A5 when you can pick that up from Black Gold soon ~

It would probably be Lyra-Fiona-Zero. Fiona replaces nemesis at the healing and requires low investment. You can put on her coco or haboela boss matrix.
Right now, Im using Fiona, Lin and Fenrir. Im just keep spam Discharge skill and skill, and since Cobalt-B, Claudia, Frigg and Nemesis will droping into standard, Im planing to invest matrix that work on the background like 2pc Fenrir, 2pc Icarus, 2pc Fiona, 2pc Lin, and 2pc Garnett so it can work on all element. Would that all A0 matrices worth more than Shiro, Crow, and Samir A3?
It'll be a while before Fenrir/Icarus/etc get into standard banner - from what I understand, Ruby and then Saki have only just been added to standard in CN, so it'll be a while before they get here.
With World Boss matrices out, it's mostly better to use those, or 3* standard, over 0* 2-piece that'll "eventually" get put into standard.

Im planning only pull Altered weapon on Red Nucs, and spend Dark Crystal on 2pc Matrices that do background damage and can be upgrade on re-run (4pc Matrices doesnt work since it only work for certain weapon or element only).

What team to use for rainbow? I am still using Saki, Fenrir, Lin for the Saki CD reset. Is there an good alternative with Fiona?
Rainbow team just refers to Saki Fenrir Lin. You can't replace Lin with Fiona, or you lose the Weapons Master passive that makes Saki work in this comp in the first place.
Feels like I have to get her just to be relevant at all in the game - but don't plan on getting Icarus (I guess), so can't even use her outside of a few monthly events to serve as a convenient accessory for whales. Otherwise give everything for a frost team that will be powercrept in one or two banners. Is this game even worth the effort at this point?
I had to skip Fiona as she didn't make any sense for me to go for. Icarus was my least lucky banner yet, and despite putting all my saved up resources into him, I ended up at like 2/7 on 50/50%'s and C5 over 400 or so pulls. Considering I have A6 Lin + her matrices, it was never going to be possible for Fiona to be more worthwhile than getting the most I could out of Icarus. I would highly disagree that Lin is to Fiona as what Cobalt B was to Annabelle, as not even your own graph shows that. Which, your graphs themselves are a bit deceiving in how they are presented in that panel, since the difference between A0 to A6 is not at all equally dispersed. A0 is worse, A1 is about on par, and it's A6 where you actually notice a heavy increase, with A2~A5 being extremely low impact. For many players who already had Lin A6 + Matrices and couldn't go that far into Fiona, skipping Fiona is a very reasonable choice, such as in my case, as anything less than A6 would have been either nothing or relatively low depending on the comp. I thus don't see how this parallels well with Cobalt B vs. Annabelle. With that said, as always, thank you for your data on the comparisons, especially with all the variations that came into play with Fiona's kit. I would like to think most people were fine with you dividing it up into 2 videos given how much there was to cover.

I feel the same way. I spent more money on Phys than any other element and its trash and now I have to pull her just to compete again. With the way these banners are coming it might be best to just wait longer for the 3.0 phys but with our luck they will be a fortitude character or some shit.

A0 Fiona would be an upgrade from Lin. Lin before A6 is fairly weak by today's standards~
actually fiona is not needed at all, only a0 for a heal team. as for dps= its quite expensive to spend $ just for a minor damage increase. and take into consideration - in 3.0 (which is soon) we will have another powercreep

So in volt, I'm wondering, do we just ignore tians discharge? I just want to make sure I'm reading it correctly but it seems like we only to focus on animation canceling his skill.
Tian's discharge is great, but you can only afford to use it once per rotation - the other discharge goes to Fiona to keep up the ATK buff
