TLDR : at max polyfeather buff, Annabella ammo consumption multiplied so you deplete all ammo in 2 dodge attack with strengh that equal to 8. so your single shot is four times stronger than flame team without Lan. as if that isn't OP enough, you still get the other buff. i climbed bygone stages by 30 floors after Lan release which is impossible to do with other weapons.

A few things to consider about the suggested flame "meta" comp (Anna + Lin + Lan): Moonlight Realm for flame (Lin Skill): When Shadoweave is paired with 2 flame weapons, Moonlight Realm is converted to Flame: Moonlight Realm, When burning targets it lasts 4 seconds longer. Targets with shields take an extra 15% flame damage. Lan is a fortitude unit with 14 shatter which basically instant break shields making that 15% damage buff useless. So what about the 4 seconds burn? Remember that in this comp, Anna will be your main DPS and you would want Anna to be using Gas Bomb not Flame Bomb which basically also makes that 4 seconds burn useless. The only use Lin will have in this comp is her discharge and skill reset (if you even have A6 Lin) which is also not that useful since both Anna and Lan have rather short skill cool downs which is 12 seconds long. As for Lin's matrices, yes they are useful but you don't really need to equip it to Lin alone in order for it to work. Anyway those are just the things I wanted to share since this video seem to just suggest that Lin is the most optimal and best option for flame comp which is not really true. First, thanks for raising up a valid point. A few things to consider: 1. Anna-Lan-Lin is the suggested Flame META "assuming" this is an all A6 lineup with Lin at A6 so Moonlight Realm is the better off-field buffer: 23% Attack BUFF increase and weapon charge per second even if we do not consider the moonlight flower damage. This makes it easier, paired with Cross Snipe weapon recharge, to maintain fast discharges with Lan for her discharge buff making it more consistent. 2. In this lineup, Annabella is mostly on gas mode so the burn is just a good side damage. I agree Lan has high shatter but mostly in actual battle, it will be Cross Snipe that break shields as the Vermillion strength also has that multiplied. If on end game content, like Origin of War or Void Abyss 6, the shield break is not as instant but its good to have. 3. No one said anything about Lin's matrices needing to equipped to Lin. Let's wait for the math crunches from someone like Maygii for the "theorycrafting" but again this is not set in stone compared in actual fights. Again, there is nothing stopping if you want to use Ruby instead. I just pointed out the big difference between the Ultimate Heat buff as compared to CN and why it was different with CN lineups. This is considering you are "required" to stay in Ruby to ramp up that Ultimate heat counter, even at A6, that still takes time when you mentioned Anna and Lan's cooldowns are short so for optimum rotation, you need to do all the stuff including Lan's discharge aside from their skills. I imagine it will only be for a short while as when Fiona comes out, she can easily replace Lin's buffs.
@@Casthiel I didn't say Ruby was a better choice for flame comp either. I just wanted to point out that Lin isn't exactly the best unit to pair with Anna and Lan as well because some if not most people just assume "this is a must and should be" when they hear the word "meta". And yes, I also believe that Fiona would actually be a better choice than Lin since she has better buffs and can do a whole lot more than what Lin can provide. The only downside for using Fiona on current Flame comp is that you will be forced to give up ATK Resonance for Balanced Resonance since Lan is a Fortitude Unit and Fiona is Benediction. There will be a new flame unit releasing after Rubilia's banner end and I think if that new flame unit has ATK resonance, it will either replace Anna or Fiona but that's something to wait for in a few more months.

The questions remains on who to best pair them with and META is ever-changing depending on who is available at the moment thus, if Ruby is not the best candidate, the next is Lin. Even A6 Tsubasa can be a good buffer. I agree, Fiona has downsides because you will lost the "Attack Resonance". Next possible upcoming character can be Gunnono for her "Resonance of All". Based on the leaks, the next flame or in 3.0 has a brush weapon so, not really sure if Lan's A1 can apply
The new flame unit will obviously replace Fiona. That's why for flame team, Fiona is a trap! Fiona don't have a dedicated buffing sub skill for flame team. While all other elements have a dedicated sub skill for them. Basically, it means flame work terriblely with altered units.

Apologies for the background noise. I promise to do better. For Lan A3, its an enemy debuff which applies as long as near parasol so everyone in the team benefits. Also, tank tests shows she can hold aggro pretty well. If you plan on Fiona, save for her instead. Lan A3 benefits DPS comps better
If you will use Lan with Annabella, at least get Lan's A1 for their crazy synergy. Fiona is a bit controversial as you will lose your Attack Resonance to Balanced Resonance (Fortitude+Benediction+DPS). We need Fiona's buff values to justify that loss

Personally, Frost main Volt sub ako at although meron ako Anna at Ruby, I skipped Lan. Personal opinion ko na ito: next flame character is brush weapon, hindi ko maisip pano magsynergize yun with Lan A1. Masyado pinababa yung buffs ng kit niya para maging viable buffer siya ng next flame at darating na si Fiona na buffer at Benediction weapon. Para sa pure DPS, mostly whales, limited kana to another Attack weapon in the third slot at Balanced Resonance lang yun at best. However, malaki talaga ang tinalon ng Flame mains na kasama ko sa crew because of Lan in terms of DPS (Bygone, VA6, most probably Origin of War as well) actual content. To be fair, TOF is a multiplayer game and powercreep is vital in a gacha game, otherwise hindi na magpull mga tao ng new characters. Actually, better handled ang powercreep sa global compared sa CN kaya good nadin ang "balancing" nila although minsan di fair ang pagtweak ng values. Expected naman na "the newest weapon gets the limelight" kaya we can't expect na hindi ito maovershadow ng next weapon after 3 banners (2 months later). Relevant padin naman yung mga standard/first batch of units, nothing stops us from using those. Kaya lang, if gusto mo magtop sa DPS, siyempre may mga whales din na gusto completo or nakafocus sa element ng newest banner. Kaya kanya kanyang spotlight lang, right now, its Flame's moment. On the positive side ng pagiging multiplayer game, pwede ka magpa assist dun sa mga top players "at the moment". Hindi natin magagawa yun sa "Abyss floors" ng genshin impact. GI is a solo player game at its core. Kaya nga mapansin mo, yung ibang characters ver.2 lang ng mga nauna. Hindi lang masyado ramdam ang powercreep sa GI kaya "old units are relevant" kasi wala ka naman makikitang comparison, unless you watch "whale vids" showcase. I also checked wuthering and blue protocol but I will not move anytime soon. Compared with GI, sobrang ambitious ng combat at mechanics ng TOF in terms of weapon kits at you can play anyway you want. Hindi naman kelangan all times META ka. You can get far by focusing on 1 character every 4/5 banners at in that period, "flavor of the month" yung comp na yun.

@@enzorocha2977 i feel you truly. In fact, though I skipped Lan, I am still hopeful for brush girl (Garnett) in 3.0 para magbalik sa flame lol. For estimate, 2 crewmates ko tumalon mga 40-70 levels sa bygone just by having Lan (Powercreep+Anna synergy) kaso flame mains sila A6 pareho. I noticed bugged yung options setting bullets. For dodge attacks, that's why recommend is 3 dodges to be sure all bullets are consumed accounting for lag and delay. Not to whiteknight but compared to GI, we have all new characters per patch instead of only 2 then rerun. Here all previous characters of the same element also rerun so you can pickup if you missed some target advancement on a defined schedule (means makakapagsave ka kasi alam natin kelan). As a CN player as well, nagiging flexible na ang dynamics ng team comp moving forward, like Gunnono (Physical) can work with other 2-same element, Icarus(Frost) have bonus if paired with different elements. If Saki is A1, Lin is better to trigger the skill reset count. This would mean longer/more Vermillion Domain for DMG reduction and buff to the rest of the team

No. Lan's A1 only works with weapons that uses "ammunition" which is basically only Anna because Cobalt even being a gun-type weapon doesn't use ammunition at all nor any other weapon for that matter. Here's a description of Lan's A1: "[Plume Gathering]: When Lingguang is equipped, [Ammo Consumption] and damage, charge, and shatter of other weapons is multiplied by [Plume Gathering]'s amount. [Glittering Flame]: When a target near a plume is detonated or hit by [Bursting Flame], deal 30% of the damage from detonation/[Bursting Flame] to 3 nearby targets with the highest HP (can include the target itself)."
1. only for ammo weapons which right now, is only Anna. Even Cobalt-B is not ammo type (even if she use a gun, too) 2. No, you only get the "ammo" count after using her skill. Though it should still benefit from the damage boost from Corrosion

And best to use Lan's auto attack 5 times in 4 secs after her skill so when we return to her, her skill CD is done. Is my assumption correct? But I still don't quite get it because the description of her A1 on the test server specifically mentions "ammo costs...multiplied by Polyfeather Parasol" and also separately mentions that "their damage, charge, and shatter are also multiplied by Polyfeather Parasol" - I would've assumed that the whole weapon is buffed by the multiplier

Sample rotation: If with Lin, Anna, Lan: Lin - moonlight realm Anna - 2 dodge attacks, should fill energy Lan - discharge, then skill Lin, again - recast her field. Repeat, rotation should be smoother If with Ruby, Anna, Lan Ruby skill and build ultimate heat Anna dodge bullets, should fill energy Lan discharge, then skill Ruby again, repeat. Please note Lan A1 enhances the ammo. The ammo provides the effects either burn or gas. Anna’s regular cross snipe doesnt require bullets/ammo its just part of her dodge attack to release a fully charged cross snipe with the ammo effects
Since you already have Alyss & Fenrir, I would recommend Fiona. You already have a main DPS in Fenrir, subDPS in Alyss. Fiona can do a lot to buff the team

So I have a6 Samira, a6 Crow, a3 Shiro, a1 King, a1 Huma and a0 Alyss, Ruby, Zero, Meryl and Tsubasa. Today I got Lan. What would be the "best" combination?

@@honekk for late game, due to mechanics it is advised only 1 element + alteration element if you have it. Reason being so you can focus on that element attack stat as you refine your gears. Samir is a general trait which is good. If enemy is resistant to fire, seek help from other players as mostly those content are for team play.
i have a1 lan,a1 ruby, a1 lin, a0 anabella, im confused about the team, and i have like 80 pulls now, should i do a1 anabella or just go to lan ( i have 50 fragment on lan)
If you mean Anna-Lan synergy, you're already good at Lan A1 and you don't need Anna A1 since you will be on gas mode now. Anna A3 is just nice to have for the lifesteal/health regen. If you plan on using Lan for a long while, I would recommend trying to get at least the 120 fragment. You get Lan A3 if you're lucky and you can use Lan with the next Flame weapon more likely than Anna then

its not optimal but as long as Lan is already paired with Annabella, the 3rd weapon can be anyone. Though, this has lower dmg as Fenrir is volt so her attack stat is naturally lower than your Flame attack. You can even use standard weapon buffers like A6 Tsubasa
I have a1 Anna and I will at least get a1 Lan, but if I want to a3 one of them which one is better? From what I see a3 Anna may be better than Lan as Anna can heal (Lan/Anna/Lin does not have heal) and get extra charge upon crit but I cannot confirm so need your advice on it. As for Lan the only advantage I can see is instant 3 parasols which eases rotation but that's about it. Another thing is whether 4pcs 0* Lan still worth it if I got world boss matrices as they are partially background matrices. Personal question here, is 68k dc, 48 nucleus, 92 vouchers enough to get 4 limited weapons (2 for a1, 2 for a3 from a1) and 4pcs 0*?
Let me address one by one: 1. Anna A3 is a great survivability jump especially when paired with Lan A1 since x4 damage also means x4 HP heal from before. Sadly Flame dont have cheat death (Volt has Fenrir, Frost has Alyss, Phys has Lyra). It may not be wiser in DPS and longevity but imo, Anna A3 can really help you survive 2. If you want instant boost, Lan matrix now. New world boss matrix are only “partially” in background and locked in Gacha and farming. I guess if you can wait, world boss matrix. Otherwise, Lan now 3. By direct conversation, 501 red nuc: A1 best safe case is 120 (won pity plus purchase from shop) A3 from A1 same is 120. So total 240 pulls. Really enough. Worst case, lost all pity is 120x4=480 still enough. Any off banner pulls if you have it A6’d will lessen this more. Matrix on best case(only spent 240 on RN, 352 SV) Even if you lose all matrix pity, 360 SV for 4pc. Realistic 50% pity success 240 SV. Thus, unless you have really bad luck, yes you can hit your targets

@@eleongo I agree with this, secure Lan's A1 first for DPS then go for survivability with Anna A3. I'll also check with Habra which gacha it is. I worry using keys on the boss will impede violet gear leveling as it doesnt drop vera upgrade mats
@@Casthiel now I think about it again I'll decide whether to pull for Lan matrices as her 2 and 4 pcs bonus set are about the same as habra and scyllia 4pcs set bonus combined... Except habra gives higher final dmg. Lan bonus set seems quite underwhelming compared to wb matrices.

Its good but you miss out the "tank" effects out of Lan's weapon like expanded Vermillion Domain and Lan's trait requires Fortitude Resonance. If on a Benediction team, Lyra, Fiona, Zero/Coco/Nemesis might be better in terms of support.
the logic is this: Lan A1 makes the ammo a "multiplier" of Polyfeather Parasol. If they made it exactly equal to the umbrellas, in the event of no umbrella on field, the ammo cost/damage will be zero right? That will do more harm than good. Thus, on the safe side, it is 1+umbrellas such that if no umbrellas on field, its as if you're back to default ammo/damage

first, do you like to focus on flame/Lan? In terms of kit, Lan A1 is minimum if you want to pair her with Annabella A0. A means advancements. The standard pools do not have neither Anna or Lan since you're just starting there's a lot of free resource
@@guck91 it is possible but may not be the best. I would advise against spending dark crystals pulling on standard banner. as long as Anna-Lan is already there, the 3rd weapon can be any you have at the moment.

And yes, I also believe that Fiona would actually be a better choice than Lin since she has better buffs and can do a whole lot more than what Lin can provide.
The only downside for using Fiona on current Flame comp is that you will be forced to give up ATK Resonance for Balanced Resonance since Lan is a Fortitude Unit and Fiona is Benediction.
There will be a new flame unit releasing after Rubilia's banner end and I think if that new flame unit has ATK resonance, it will either replace Anna or Fiona but that's something to wait for in a few more months.

The questions remains on who to best pair them with and META is ever-changing depending on who is available at the moment thus, if Ruby is not the best candidate, the next is Lin. Even A6 Tsubasa can be a good buffer.
I agree, Fiona has downsides because you will lost the "Attack Resonance". Next possible upcoming character can be Gunnono for her "Resonance of All".
Based on the leaks, the next flame or in 3.0 has a brush weapon so, not really sure if Lan's A1 can apply
The new flame unit will obviously replace Fiona. That's why for flame team, Fiona is a trap! Fiona don't have a dedicated buffing sub skill for flame team. While all other elements have a dedicated sub skill for them.
Basically, it means flame work terriblely with altered units.

For Lan A3, its an enemy debuff which applies as long as near parasol so everyone in the team benefits. Also, tank tests shows she can hold aggro pretty well. If you plan on Fiona, save for her instead. Lan A3 benefits DPS comps better

Yes of course. A0 Anna has her dodge bullets to work with Lan A1. A3 Anna then adds life recovery per dodge attack.

Fiona is a bit controversial as you will lose your Attack Resonance to Balanced Resonance (Fortitude+Benediction+DPS). We need Fiona's buff values to justify that loss

Agree ako at nakita ko na din yung calcs ni Maygii. Personally, Frost main Volt sub ako at although meron ako Anna at Ruby, I skipped Lan. Personal opinion ko na ito: next flame character is brush weapon, hindi ko maisip pano magsynergize yun with Lan A1. Masyado pinababa yung buffs ng kit niya para maging viable buffer siya ng next flame at darating na si Fiona na buffer at Benediction weapon. Para sa pure DPS, mostly whales, limited kana to another Attack weapon in the third slot at Balanced Resonance lang yun at best. However, malaki talaga ang tinalon ng Flame mains na kasama ko sa crew because of Lan in terms of DPS (Bygone, VA6, most probably Origin of War as well) actual content.
To be fair, TOF is a multiplayer game and powercreep is vital in a gacha game, otherwise hindi na magpull mga tao ng new characters. Actually, better handled ang powercreep sa global compared sa CN kaya good nadin ang "balancing" nila although minsan di fair ang pagtweak ng values. Expected naman na "the newest weapon gets the limelight" kaya we can't expect na hindi ito maovershadow ng next weapon after 3 banners (2 months later).
Relevant padin naman yung mga standard/first batch of units, nothing stops us from using those. Kaya lang, if gusto mo magtop sa DPS, siyempre may mga whales din na gusto completo or nakafocus sa element ng newest banner. Kaya kanya kanyang spotlight lang, right now, its Flame's moment. On the positive side ng pagiging multiplayer game, pwede ka magpa assist dun sa mga top players "at the moment". Hindi natin magagawa yun sa "Abyss floors" ng genshin impact. GI is a solo player game at its core. Kaya nga mapansin mo, yung ibang characters ver.2 lang ng mga nauna. Hindi lang masyado ramdam ang powercreep sa GI kaya "old units are relevant" kasi wala ka naman makikitang comparison, unless you watch "whale vids" showcase.
I also checked wuthering and blue protocol but I will not move anytime soon. Compared with GI, sobrang ambitious ng combat at mechanics ng TOF in terms of weapon kits at you can play anyway you want. Hindi naman kelangan all times META ka. You can get far by focusing on 1 character every 4/5 banners at in that period, "flavor of the month" yung comp na yun.

Kawawa lang tayo in the end kasi wala na rin incentive si Mr. Dev magcreate ng bago kung kasing lupit ng Generation 1.0 weps yung latest banner-goodbye profit and goodbye studio. Gets ko din yung I don't have to be META all the time, pero strive pa rin bunga lang naman from my frustration na di ako makaadvance sa Sequential Phantasm lol. Plus, enjoy ko din mag min-max ng player efficiency (naks parang NBA) which, as you mentioned, is one of the great features of ToF.

Still planning to, lalo na nabanggit mo yung potential problem of synergizing A1 Lan with Ink Girl, but not so super-eager now as before. Complicating things is Fiona's arrival in the very near future. Tama lang kasi bilang ng summons ko for either Fiona or Lan, not them both, and Fiona coming in with Benediction reso is so tempting (healer usually kasi role ko sa co-ops). Nyaaah ang hirap mag-decide! Buhay F2P talaga o XD

@@enzorocha2977 i feel you truly. In fact, though I skipped Lan, I am still hopeful for brush girl (Garnett) in 3.0 para magbalik sa flame lol. For estimate, 2 crewmates ko tumalon mga 40-70 levels sa bygone just by having Lan (Powercreep+Anna synergy) kaso flame mains sila A6 pareho.
I noticed bugged yung options setting bullets. For dodge attacks, that's why recommend is 3 dodges to be sure all bullets are consumed accounting for lag and delay.
Not to whiteknight but compared to GI, we have all new characters per patch instead of only 2 then rerun. Here all previous characters of the same element also rerun so you can pickup if you missed some target advancement on a defined schedule (means makakapagsave ka kasi alam natin kelan). As a CN player as well, nagiging flexible na ang dynamics ng team comp moving forward, like Gunnono (Physical) can work with other 2-same element, Icarus(Frost) have bonus if paired with different elements. I am excited already for v3.0

For a purely tank build would Lan A0 , Saki A1 and Huma A6 be optimal or is Lan Saki Lin better ?
If Saki is A1, Lin is better to trigger the skill reset count. This would mean longer/more Vermillion Domain for DMG reduction and buff to the rest of the team

No. Lan's A1 only works with weapons that uses "ammunition" which is basically only Anna because Cobalt even being a gun-type weapon doesn't use ammunition at all nor any other weapon for that matter.
Here's a description of Lan's A1:
"[Plume Gathering]: When Lingguang is equipped, [Ammo Consumption] and damage, charge, and shatter of other weapons is multiplied by [Plume Gathering]'s amount.
[Glittering Flame]: When a target near a plume is detonated or hit by [Bursting Flame], deal 30% of the damage from detonation/[Bursting Flame] to 3 nearby targets with the highest HP (can include the target itself)."
1. only for ammo weapons which right now, is only Anna. Even Cobalt-B is not ammo type (even if she use a gun, too)
2. No, you only get the "ammo" count after using her skill. Though it should still benefit from the damage boost from Corrosion
Thanks both. So technically it's best to stop using Anna once all bullets are exhausted. And best to use Lan's auto attack 5 times in 4 secs after her skill so when we return to her, her skill CD is done. Is my assumption correct?
But I still don't quite get it because the description of her A1 on the test server specifically mentions "ammo costs...multiplied by Polyfeather Parasol" and also separately mentions that "their damage, charge, and shatter are also multiplied by Polyfeather Parasol" - I would've assumed that the whole weapon is buffed by the multiplier

If with Lin, Anna, Lan:
Lin - moonlight realm
Anna - 2 dodge attacks, should fill energy
Lan - discharge, then skill
Lin, again - recast her field.
Repeat, rotation should be smoother
If with Ruby, Anna, Lan
Ruby skill and build ultimate heat
Anna dodge bullets, should fill energy
Lan discharge, then skill
Ruby again, repeat.
Please note Lan A1 enhances the ammo. The ammo provides the effects either burn or gas. Anna’s regular cross snipe doesnt require bullets/ammo its just part of her dodge attack to release a fully charged cross snipe with the ammo effects

Since you already have Alyss & Fenrir, I would recommend Fiona. You already have a main DPS in Fenrir, subDPS in Alyss. Fiona can do a lot to buff the team

Yes, A for advancement like how C in Genshin Impact is constellations.
For comp, if you want DPS: Lan, King, Ruby
if you want Tank: Huma-Lan-Ruby

@@honekk for late game, due to mechanics it is advised only 1 element + alteration element if you have it. Reason being so you can focus on that element attack stat as you refine your gears. Samir is a general trait which is good. If enemy is resistant to fire, seek help from other players as mostly those content are for team play.
A1 stands for 1stars Advancement. which is correct in game terms. there's no constelation in tower of fantasy.
i have a1 lan,a1 ruby, a1 lin, a0 anabella, im confused about the team, and i have like 80 pulls now, should i do a1 anabella or just go to lan ( i have 50 fragment on lan)
If you mean Anna-Lan synergy, you're already good at Lan A1 and you don't need Anna A1 since you will be on gas mode now. Anna A3 is just nice to have for the lifesteal/health regen.
If you plan on using Lan for a long while, I would recommend trying to get at least the 120 fragment. You get Lan A3 if you're lucky and you can use Lan with the next Flame weapon more likely than Anna then
How well will 6 star Cobalt-B work with Lin? I don't want to spend any more money to get Annabella, so I am hoping Cobalt-B is comparable....
Well Lin works with all weapons, just cast her field and that's it. If Lin is A6, then better buffs for Cobalt as well.

its not optimal but as long as Lan is already paired with Annabella, the 3rd weapon can be anyone. Though, this has lower dmg as Fenrir is volt so her attack stat is naturally lower than your Flame attack.
You can even use standard weapon buffers like A6 Tsubasa
I have a1 Anna and I will at least get a1 Lan, but if I want to a3 one of them which one is better? From what I see a3 Anna may be better than Lan as Anna can heal (Lan/Anna/Lin does not have heal) and get extra charge upon crit but I cannot confirm so need your advice on it. As for Lan the only advantage I can see is instant 3 parasols which eases rotation but that's about it.
Another thing is whether 4pcs 0* Lan still worth it if I got world boss matrices as they are partially background matrices.
Personal question here, is 68k dc, 48 nucleus, 92 vouchers enough to get 4 limited weapons (2 for a1, 2 for a3 from a1) and 4pcs 0*?
Let me address one by one:
1. Anna A3 is a great survivability jump especially when paired with Lan A1 since x4 damage also means x4 HP heal from before. Sadly Flame dont have cheat death (Volt has Fenrir, Frost has Alyss, Phys has Lyra). It may not be wiser in DPS and longevity but imo, Anna A3 can really help you survive
2. If you want instant boost, Lan matrix now. New world boss matrix are only “partially” in background and locked in Gacha and farming. I guess if you can wait, world boss matrix. Otherwise, Lan now
3. By direct conversation, 501 red nuc:
A1 best safe case is 120 (won pity plus purchase from shop)
A3 from A1 same is 120. So total 240 pulls. Really enough.
Worst case, lost all pity is 120x4=480 still enough. Any off banner pulls if you have it A6’d will lessen this more.
Matrix on best case(only spent 240 on RN, 352 SV)
Even if you lose all matrix pity, 360 SV for 4pc. Realistic 50% pity success 240 SV.
Thus, unless you have really bad luck, yes you can hit your targets

Its good but you miss out the "tank" effects out of Lan's weapon like expanded Vermillion Domain and Lan's trait requires Fortitude Resonance. If on a Benediction team, Lyra, Fiona, Zero/Coco/Nemesis might be better in terms of support.

the logic is this: Lan A1 makes the ammo a "multiplier" of Polyfeather Parasol. If they made it exactly equal to the umbrellas, in the event of no umbrella on field, the ammo cost/damage will be zero right? That will do more harm than good.
Thus, on the safe side, it is 1+umbrellas such that if no umbrellas on field, its as if you're back to default ammo/damage

first, do you like to focus on flame/Lan? In terms of kit, Lan A1 is minimum if you want to pair her with Annabella A0. A means advancements. The standard pools do not have neither Anna or Lan since you're just starting there's a lot of free resource

If you use Lin, yes. Best comp is anna Lan Lin. But calcs with Ruby is about 95% of that comp so no much loss
