If you get the deluxe edition, there are 22 tracks in total - every track that was recorded during the sessions - and each of them are phenomenal, including an instrumental piece where Roddy plays all of the guitars. If they really wanted to, Faith No More could have released a double album here. It's a real shame they had to leave material off an album like this one, I tell you.
Im ranking some albums...and relistened this one... boy ive never head an album that is this fresh after 10 years or more of listening, this is crazy good I remember Angel dust and real thing being my favourite...but this one holds up the best
Absolutely! The Real Thing is great but has a very late 80s, early 90s sound, but King For a Day and Angel Dust have a more timeless sound, but King For a Day hits the right every time!🤘🏿
Love this album so much. Started listening to Faith no More in 1992 wen i turned 13. Angel Dust is probably their best album, but King for a Day was the one that had more impact on me. My favorite band and Mike's my idol in music.
I feel the same. Angel Dust is their best, but King for a Day did have a bigger impact. I need to start doing more album reviews. It’s just kind of kinky that you can’t do them with samples of the songs.
I totally agree with you pal. I adore FNM and King for a Day... is probably my fav album. It's so hard to pick one but, maybe I'm crazy, I put Angel Dust at the bottom of the list. Probably just because I think it's the album with the worst production, the sounds, especially the guitar ones, are not up to the others
Thank you for the comment in the like I can see you're a hardcore Faith No More fan like the most of us sir I saw them three times here are the dates and venues: 1995 Concord California Concord Pavillion(2nd) row with opening jennifer tryin(spelling), the goo go dolls, and filter. Someone threw a chair. The guitar player flipped me or the audience off like 3 times. 1997 san Francisco California the warfield theater. Someone threw a shoe, hitting Mike patton on the neck in the 3rd encore. 2010 san Francisco the warfield Mind blowing We care a lot on the encore blew my Fucking mind Nuff said. Thanks
It looks like we seen them on the same tours, just different cities. The first time I saw them was Oct. 1 1997 at the Ogden in Denver, Co. it was just Limp Bizkit and Faith No More. It was a great show. FNM lit up the stage! Two of my favorite bands. After the show we got to meet the guys from LB, except DJ Lethal. Second time was at the Palladium in LA. on Dec. 1 2010 when my friend and I were walking up to the venue, before the show, we ran into Mike Patton and Danny Devito as they were leaving the venue. We only got to say hi, and my friend got a pic with him. I didn’t because he had to go. EXCELLENT show on the Second Coming tour.
Ricochet is "epic" like I saw this tour 1995 Concord California The compact disc came with a free sticker of the album cover which I put in the rear window of my 1963 Dodge 880 4 door hardtop A woman designed the album cover this supposed is Loosely resemble a b a r t train in the San Francisco Bay Area

Like you said, 'Angel Dust' is their BEST album. ;-)
KFOD is incredible though, and indeed a masterpiece.
Im from Portugal and my favourite band is faith no more and king for day is something else, awesome
I LOVE FNM! I was actually a little disappointed that I didn’t get tickets to a Mr. Bungle show recently. 😔 Still gonna keep my eye out.

I’ll have to check that out! Certainly one of their best albums.

Good review - it's a toss up between that one and Angel Dust - but it certainly does stand the test of time. Great shirt!
Ah yes! Both such great albums!

Awesome! I’ve only had the opportunity to see them twice. Both were great shows.
