I've been struggling with UV mapping and procedural textures when it comes to hard-surface stuff. Do you have suggestions about how to fix distorted textures? Even with Generated or Object coordinate it seems to have different scales in some faces and that end up having seams
try using MARK SHARP on edges where the texture is distorted or you could try applying SET TO FACE to faces which are distorted. These two really helped me while facing texture problems in blender. :)
