Sophie Duker, she's amazing!! Like, actually really awesome. If you have a chance go see her live because she's hilarious and loves interacting with her audience. She hosts a comedy night called Wacky Racists every month in London, it's such a good night!! So happy to see her there, she so deserves it

Michael McGrath it’s two women, who to some are funny. There have been plenty of unfunny men on the show I just don’t think it’s a big deal having two women on the show. If they were obnoxiously unfunny I’d have a different opinion but they’re not that bad

Angela has produced some pretty funny lines. More importantly, she is much better now than she was the first time she was on.

I have known for a long time that, in general, the comedians do not actually rush to the microphone so close after the previous one, but that it is cut to keep the broadcast flowing.
This is the first time I actually see some evidence of the editing.
@@dozog I've been to one of the recordings, the amount of editing was quite surprising. Around three hours of material gets cut down into a 28 minute programme. They cut out a lot of jokes that don't get much of a reaction (even though the audience is told to laugh, even if they don't get the joke or think it's funny) or if the comedian cocks up the delivery.
@@gwishart I would have a serious problem being in the audience, laughing at stuff that isn't half funny.

Sorry that nobody replied sooner. It is basically a surrealistic joke, saying something unexpected and pretty unbelievable from a scientific viewpoint. To my taste, the best joke in this video.
@@TrondBørgeKrokli almost. While it is surreal, it's not entirely random. It's a reference to duck pancakes you sometimes get at Chinese restaurants.

I dont get why everyone loves Milton Jones he just says random things with a deadpan expression.
He's decent with delivery, but looks much better compared to the other crappy guests.
I think he's funnier when he stops trying to be so wacky. Sometimes he puts too much wackiness into his delivery and for me it detracts from the joke.
His style is more reminiscent of bygone comedy acts like Chaplin, the Marx brothers, 3 Stooges and Laurel and Hardy - not everything needs to be especially smart to be funny.
What you call random often has relevance to the subject being discussed, but in an offhand barely connected way designed to take you by surprise.
Sure its not for everyone, but as you noticed it clearly works for many commenters here.
If you think they are random things, i am gonna say you don't get the jokes.
His humor is largely based on a different perspective on reality.
He leads you with a premise, then inverts your assumption with his punchline.
It may not be your style, in the same way some people don't laugh every time a penis or a tit is the punchline.
