Oh my gosh. Leaves, especially curved one, have proved to be my nemesis and now I feel like I can tackle them . And more generally, your way of teaching is just perfect for me. Breaking things down into steps that are identifiable and memorable!! Thank you! I can't wait to sign up for your classes.
I love your drawing instruction!You break it down and simplify it so well. Then doing the loose painting on top I love, love, love it. It's loose but not just a blob of color, you show us how to add detail with the paint but still alow the looseness. And it has a 3 dementional look to it because we are drawing all sides. Which with practice will definetly elevate my watercolor attempts. Thank you so much, I hope you continue to give drawing instruction and then paint executions. It has truly helped so much.

The paper bunching up or warping from water could be because of the paper weight! Alex recommends 100% cotton 140lb watercolor paper- it won't warp when adding water! :D ~Rachel, Alex Kincaid Art Team
