The Killers and Interpol are The Best Indie Bands in My opinion, Better than The Strokes, and bands From That era as Arctic Monkeys and those Styles (I don't Know if this Is an irrevelant opinion I just prefer Interpol and The Killers)

@@pn1831 Most of the lyrics seem to come from the word-salad tradition of writing (either that or I’m not understanding the metaphors he’s using) but they wrap it up at the end with something concise and meaningful. And the actual music is just great. However: god damn this singer does not enunciate his lyrics. You need a lyrics sheet.
By the way: has it always been the same singer? Because the lyrical enunciation in “Evil” is perfect.

interpol is a band that has left the biggest impact on me and my life. every song from 'turn on the bright lights', and some songs from 'antics' and 'our love to admire' gives me very vivid memories of the darkest period in my life and yet i can look back at those times fondly because of their music. i'm able to see how much i've grown since then and how much my life has changed for the better. paul, daniel, sam, and carlos, thank you for such beautiful and meaningful music..

Interpol you guys are legends to me. I love all your music and cannot wait for the new album. Seeing you play in Toronto 2014 was the best show I've ever been to. Been a fan since Obstacle 1 was in Girl Yeah Right! in 2003. I was 12 ahahaha. Please keep up the great work, your music changes people's lives.

@@wm2922 They didn't "create" the sound though. Paul Banks has said over and over again that he doesn't want his band to be compared to Joy Division, and that Interpol is it's own thing. You Joy Division snobs like to point at music and say Joy Division did it first, but it doesn't work like that. I've given Joy Division many chances, my mother even listens to them a lot with me around, but it just doesn't sound nearly as dark as Interpol does. Let things be their own.

These ass clowns wished they would be as good and as great as joy division. They’ll never be talented get your ears checked!
@@gregb2369 Joy Division is not melodic, it's not enjoyable, and the singer made the right choice killing himself. New Order is a bit better, but Interpol still beats both of them.
