ROMANIA'S BEST CASTLE | FIRST STOP ON 10 DAY ROMANIAN ROAD TRIP (Peles Castle)

- It's beginning! We load up big blue (our rental car) and begin our 10 day cross country road trip here in Romania! And our first stop is...Peles Castle! Peles Castle is definitely Romania's best, most luxurious castle in the country! This castle was incredibly different from most of the earlier, gothic castles and cathedrals we have been visiting throughout Europe. A must see stop in Romania for sure! It sits just outside the beautiful town of Sinaia where we grab a Romanian dinner then get to our final destination of Brasov!

Romania is absolutely beautiful! I lived there for a year near Brasov. Then I went back every year at least once for 2-3 wks for 11 years! The people are so friendly. I worked in orphanages. I'm so glad you got to experience it!

Dracula not existed, it is imagine person from literature. Exist person called Vlad Tepes but his castle Poertari was destroyed by Turks in middle age, but for simple and stupid tourist is open Castle Bran as "Dracula Castle".
Generally I am sad and disappointed of "tourist" which just travel, spent time and money but in fact do not know anything deeple about visited places on the world. New generation of bland people or people with bad information about visited place but with a lot of photos, videos etc.

@@Pattiekins1 it is not on you but generally to western new tourist which start to explore east Europe and many comments on Web are really stupid and without any knowledge of history, culture or deeper understanding. Really many of today's tourist are lazy to have good preparation and respect on visited place, just looking on cheap or discounted air ticket and then visit this place. Sorry this was not personally to you, but generally to today's tourists.

This castle also looked like a palace! Niw I want to watch Christmas Prince! Those sausages looked SO good! Good thing you have your little white fan! I didn’t realize Romania was so beautiful. Loved this blog! Peles castle is gorgeous! Loved the drive there and the walk from the parking lot! I somehow, didn’t watch this video, Day 1/10, until today, and I’d agree, this is a much more beautiful castle than the 2nd one you visited, a few days later!

Most of the time we pump first and pay after where I live in Ontario Canada. Sometimes you pay first but that's usually late at night or at specific gas pumps only. You can also pay at the pump at places too.

Thats how we do our petrol (fuel) in the UK, pump first pay after, we have an electric car and we charge it up and we are then billed after. The mountains and all the trees are so beautiful, thats the scenery I love. That castle was so beautiful really gorgeous surrounded by trees. Love all the chandeliers too - I have a thing for them lol. Happy travels xx

I have been there 7 years ago. My brother and wife live in LUDUS. We went to the castle when we were going on a roadtrip . One advice; Dont eat bbqmeat at streetpartyś , markets, we were sick for 2 days......only restaurants. Have a nice trip !!
